Liz Dack and Abbie Snook went above and beyond to ensure that the purchase of our new home went smoothly. They left no loose ends and demonstrated a comprehensive knowledge while providing a personalised and tailored service. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in the process of selling or purchasing a house.

Farieda and Angela were a pleasure to work with on the purchase of our new home. The transaction proceeded smoothly and they kept us regularly up to date via email and phone. Big thank you to them for an easy transaction process.

Really dont recommend. Farieda and Angela worked with me on a transaction it was really an awful experience. Very non-responsive, they gave me wrong and conflicting information throughout the transaction, they miscalculated some of the fees, they dont share any updates for months and then sent me 10 emails full of attachements all of a sudden to review immediately most of which dated 3-4 months earlier.
Their communication is really the worst part of this experience, i was never updated with whats going on, and the updates i received were solicitor jargon that is not easy to understand and they were not trying to explain anything to me. I had to get this case escalated to a partner at the firm to get actual answers but that partner then disappeared on vacation and was out of the case again.
It is now a few months after completion and i am owed money and cannot get a hold of them.
If i were to do this again, i would pay more and go with a better company or at least be very picky on who to work with from Laurus.

I used Laurus for the sale of my flat. Both Michaela and Mel were absolutely fantastic. It was my first time selling a property and I felt in very safe hands throughout. They were consistently friendly and efficient - dealing with all aspects of the sale and any queries seamlessly. From my perspective, the whole process, from start to finish, was much easier and quicker than I had anticipated, no doubt thanks to their efforts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Laurus, and particularly Mel and Michaela, to anyone. Thank you both!

Abigail Bird gave the most thorough and sensitive advice while I went to her to make a Will and LPA - these are delicate matters for anybody who would like guidance and assurance for the present and future. Abigail has an immaculate attention to details and her explanations both in person or by email were easy to understand and her instructions were clear and sensitive. Her humour and friendliness also added to the process being painless. The charges compared to others I have come across were very reasonable. I feel confident that all my wishes with documents lodged at Laurus would be expertly carried out by Abigail and her colleagues. Highly recommended.

I want to say a massive thank you to Sarah Wallace who kept me sane during the sale of my property. Sarah made sure I had signed all paperwork to progress the sale swiftly, but what we didn’t account for was an inept agent/ dodgy solicitor acting on behalf of my buyer.

The completion was delayed by months as my buyer’s solicitor kept requesting information, we had already provided yet failed to supply and act on information needed by them to progress the chain. Sarah remained professional throughout and stayed one step ahead.

Sarah has above average communication skills and an abundance of common sense which clearly isn’t common.

Thank you so much Sarah, I will never forget everything you have done for me and the pain you also had to endure. Just to add, if I was your boss, I’d triple your salary.

Unfortunately cannot recommend Laurus at all. I engaged Laurus to act on my behalf to purchase a flat in early 2022 which completely in July 2022 - I only received the final documents the other week via email which is over a year post completion. Trying to contact Laurus was incredibly difficult and resulted in my partner having to ring many times to little effect and I essentially had to plead with them on several occasions via email to respond to us. The post completion team didn't complete two very vital actions which I only found out about through my own digging and essentially left us outstanding on service charge payments to the management provider to my flat and unable to pay the ground rent due to the freeholder, both of which are requirements of the leasehold. These two third parties had been chasing Laurus for months with no response which I was shown email chains of. Only after I threatened to contact someone higher up in the firm was there any quick action or response. Either Laurus hasn't employed the right people or has overloaded them with so much work that they simply cannot function effectively. Considering the amount of chasing and work we had to do to push forward the post completion actions of the purchase and the purchase in general we should've got a cut of the fees we paid to them as we essentially ended up doing part of their work for them. I would avoid this company if you can.

Used Laurus Law to purchase my property. We encountered some issues post completion but James Hollingsworth went above and beyond to resolve the issue.

I would use the firm again without hesitation.

With the initial contact I was given very helpful information,followed by an email. The person I spoke to seem very knowledgeable about the situation which made me feel confident in their practice.

The team were very professional in ther manor,commitment and knowledge, keeping me upto date and informing me of any changes along the way. Any correspondence was answered quickly.

Overall I always felt confident with everything from the begining to the completion of the work done.

The majority of follow up was dealt with by Ellie Buffham - again, information and advice given very clearly. She was also very pleasant, and patient, during any conversations and emails. Overall, selling our family home was made a lot less traumatic by using Laurus Solicitors!

Laurus handled the sale of my leasehold flat, and purchase of a new home. The sale was handled by Anam Hussain and Emma. They have been fantastic, responsive, professional and altogether kind throughout the process. They managed to pull off a leasehold transaction within a month, which is very rare. On the purchase side, it was handled by Lara Soyka. New builds are notorious for quick turnarounds and Lara was always on top of things. She was also professional and responsive to my questions. Even though I was not a first time buyer, buying a new home is a very different and stressful experience. But Lara guided us through the complications. Laurus could not provide a better service. It is not one of the cheapest quotes you will find, but I do not think you hope for a better outcome throughout their service. Thank you folks, and I will be back to Anam and Lara again in the future.

Jasmine managed my transaction from start to finish, it was a difficult sale as the vendors solicitor was very unresponsive, Jasmine went above and beyond to get the vendors solicitor to exchange and complete.
She was always very responsive and had a friendly, patient and professional manner.
She always took the time to walk me through things and ensured I understood what was happening within the transaction.
Whenever I dealt with anyone else in the team e.g when onboarding, they were very patient and helpful.
I couldn't recommend Jasmine and her team enough, she made a stressful transaction much less stressful.

We can highly recommend Laurus Law, Lara Soyka in particular who handled our flat purchase. Not only was she very responsive and pleasant with it, but also very vigilant in that she exposed an issue with the purchase that other solicitors had failed to notice in the previous sales in this new build block of flats. She then worked on our behalf to produce an acceptable solution that enabled us to proceed. All round excellent service!

I can't recommend Laurus enough. Lara and the team worked very efficiently and had great attention to detail. They kept me up to date throughout the process and were very easy to get in contact with when I needed to. The conveyancing process happened quickly, and I was able to move in just over 2 months after my offer was accepted.
