Very professional. A delight to deal with. Will be using them again

Anam Hussain and Emma Dwyer dealt with the sale of my central London flat very efficiently and conducted negotiations with my purchaser's solicitors in relation to several issues very successfully. The sale was not straightforward and I was very impressed with their problem solving approach. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Farah was extremely efficient and knowledgeable and always responded within good time.

Seven months after putting an offer in - we still haven't exchanged, let alone completed.

On the day we were supposed to have exchanged + completed, my lawyer finds out that the mortgage company needs five days notice to release funds (surely it would be her role to notify the mortgage company and arrange this?) and also as a family member is gifting part of the deposit, another department (on the day!!!) are chasing for a signed gift letter.

What is so frustrating for me is that they have had SEVEN months in order to do this, but have left it to the day in order to finish the paperwork.

Needless to say, movers have been cancelled / froze etc and thank god that I didn't have complete faith when they gave me the original date so left myself some wiggle room in case of issue.

I'm not sure how the other reviewers found their lawyers but be very wary of month long gaps in communication. It's their job, but it's your life, they aren't the cheapest or the most expensive but I feel I have lost several year of my life with unnecessary stress that they have caused me.

I fully understand moving and buying a house is a stressful event but I've lost count the number of times I've had to chase them EVEN ON exchange and completion day (and unsurprisingly, she's still not taking my calls or ringing me back).

Lauren and Claire were professional and user-friendly. They handled a complicated sale for us with speed, efficiency and guidance throughout the whole process.
We would highly recommend.

I used Farah some 8 years ago - she did a very good and professional job. So good, in fact, that I used her for this sale. Again, she and Sarah did an extremely professional job - constant communication at all phases of the sale. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any future real estate cations that I might undertake in England.

They got the job done but I felt they didn't give very helpful legal advice. I ended up asking my (brilliant) mortgage advisor for help with legal advice, despite that not being his forte and his services being free. Had to chase quite a few times for replies.

I did not realise the need for probate, and knew nothing of the process. Our sale had been agreed and then suddenly we were faced with needing probate. We thought we would lose the sale.

Amandeep took us through the process with minimum stress and despite a number of unforeseen issues, took us through the process from beginning to end smoothly.

They don't reply or send information via email when they say they would. I will never use them again.
4 completion dates missed. Far too expensive for the service provided. The worst experience I have had to endure over 8-10 weeks, taking time off work to sort out things that they should be doing on your behalf. when you finally get through to the allocated case manager, its answered as a default "I was just going to call you"

We dealt with Sarah and Katie from the conveyancing team and Sarah was our main contact. The sale had a few unexpected hiccups but Sarah was kind, patient, and empathetic and was always available on the end of the phone to reassure us that she was doing what she could (together with Katie) to get the issues resolved.
We would not hesitate in returning to Laurus again in the future.

We worked with Liz Dack and Abbie Snook when buying our first house. I had heard a lot of horror stories about how difficult it can be to get a response from your conveyancers and how they can really slow down the process - not in this case. Liz replied to emails almost immediately, soothed my first-time-buyer nerves and ultimately guided us to a really quick purchase. Would wholeheartedly recommend. Thanks again, Liz and Abbie.

It was great to work with Laurus! My solicitor was Liz Dack, It took her less than 5 minutes to reply any of my emails or phone calls. When something can be so stressful, it is important to work with someone like Liz, I´m very grateful for her support, her professionalism and the way she managed the contracts and the whole process. Most of my contact with Liz was online through emails and videocalls but I had de opportunity to go to the office in Aldgate and we were also treated very well. Thank You

I would not recommend this company for conveyancing. I had a horrible dehumanising experience with them. I ended up pulling out of the purchase and Laurus was a contributory factor. This was at considerable expense having paid for a full survey and one third of their fees. The worst of it is I have just received a demand for further payment, 7 months later. I feel bullied and deeply upset by the whole experience.
