It seems there has been a consensus

It seems there has been a consensus for a while now, yet Kmart has shown no consideration. There are so many issues with online orders, you receive a confirmation, only to have the order cancelled even after being notified that it’s ready for pickup. If anything, they’ve only edited the notification to 'not' include a reply option. They appear content to continue operating this way??

DON'T SHOP WITH THEM!! Purchased an item online, promised delivery on 24th, now the 27th, no item delivered. Viewed many times their stupid tracking system to find out nothing. Finally spoke to someone, I suggest overseas, to be told would be delivered that day, never happened. As an exercise in futility, try contact a human at Kmart, impossible so far! This organisation is disgraceful. DON'T SHOP WITH THEM!!

Refund taking long time to process

You would think that processing a refund of an item they don’t have in stock would be business as usual. I ordered the $180 item in January, did not get shipping confirmation movement. Followed up after a month in February. I’ve been told 4 times now they will process my refund and just give it a few more days but now it’s near the end of march and still no refund. I will definitely not be buying online from Kmart again.

I bought 2x Hudson table lamps at Kmart…

I bought 2x Hudson table lamps at Kmart and on the box it said to buy e27 Edison screw globes. I bought them and they did not fit. I checked the website and it says that it is e14 small Edison screw globes. So the information on the box is wrong (have a photo of the box) and I wasted money on the wrong globes. Only writing a review because it has been extremely difficult trying to contact Kmart just to let them know so it doesn’t happen to anyone else and all I’m getting is a silly AI response!!!!!

That lady at the checkout at Kmart St Marys around 2:30 pm today who did not want to help at all.Did not want to answer and just left while I was asking for something. Shes very rude. This is the third time I have encountered young ladies in thesame store working with attitude problem and did not want to work. They should not hire young ones whos got attitude problem to be honest. Its sad cause I love shopping in Kmart and St Marys is the one closest to my house

This will be the LAST thing I ever buy from K-Mart! I bought a fridge on the 11/03. I got a receipt from K-mart and then a tracking number. Five days later and tracking doesn't even show the fridge has been picked up. And to add insult to injury, I have just found out I didn't buy it from K-Mart. It seems I bought it from a 3rd party on marketplace even though I bought it through the K-Mart site.I have now had to cancel the technician that was coming thursday to cap the gas and remove the old fridge. No-one can even tell me WHO I actually bought the ffridge from and a number to contact them to find out what's going on. A K-mart spokeman told me they "sent a message and give them 2 days to respond". It's supposed to be HERE in THREE days. As I said, never again will I buy from K-mart.

Champagne taste on beer money

I've been a "champagne taste on beer money" for nearly 80 years, and can spot a gold brick 3 mile back in the dark.
I don't like "cheap" crapola. However, to contradict myself, I get stuff from Temu from time to time. But "the penny dropped" recently and found I could actually buy what I wanted from "The Big K"🤣🤣🤣 at a better price than Temu...go figure?!
The last few purchases from Kmart here in Toowoomba were just great. I had to return an item as the size wasn't quite right and got an exchange.
And on a number of items postage is free including the Dutch Oven I'm about to secure...whoa?!
And I have to say here, that the girl(s) at the Service Desk is/are great. While they look a bit on the tired side, I never get any "attitude" but they always do a top job.
So, thanks girls, I really appreciate that.
A lot of people shit-can Kmart....but I'm sorry, my experience has been excellent with them...and that is coming from a pedantic, over-achieving misery guts?!

Kmart advertised a PS5 controller for…

Kmart advertised a PS5 controller for $84.00 back on the 25th January 2026 on line. When you go to purchase the product, it redirected me to their marketplace with a price tag of $119.
It was evident, there was a glitch in their system. I contacted Kmart immediately, where they corrected their advertising within 24hrs and I was told a staff member would be contact with an outcome.
The latest update has been, this is a marketplace product, we’re sorry but this product is no longer available.
You can’t advertise products under your banner and then have it diverted to marketplace
I am very disappointed and discouraged over Kmarts handling of this entire situation.
There has been no resolution

DONT order anything from marketplace

I wish I had understood what was coming from Kmart MARKETPLACE and what was the regular Kmart. I would have NEVER ordered it. Absolutely ripped off. They won’t refund me THEIR incorrect order. It’s taken over a month and a half to get a credit note I will never be able to use when I was promised a refund. DONT DO IT TO YOURSELF. THEY DONR SEND CORRWCT COLOURS OF WHAT YOU ORDER. ITS A DISASTER ANS DISGRACE

Wouldn’t even rate 1 star if it was an option. Will NEVER be shopping with Kmart again, online orders are so unreliable. Fix your system in terms of updating stock it’s an absolute joke and waste of peoples time. Placed a click and collect at a store that wasn’t my local due to a certain item only being available at a different store, you’s happily took my payment and then later informed me that the item I wanted most was out of stock. Could have just gone to my local for the rest of the items had it been made clear the rest weren’t available.

Kmart- poor service …

The service is pathetic if goods are not delivered. Their live chat service is useless. All the agents do is apologise.
There is no follow through.
One agent promised they had organises a re pick of my items. When I messaged them in chat the next day they had no record.
Had to start from scratch.
I requested to be connected to a supervisor but was told that is not possible.
The agent Maicah Louise was not helpful.
Landed up with 2 reference numbers for the complaint. Not sure which one is correct.
The agent then went silent and vanishe!
Very poor and frustrating customer service fron kmart.

Missing items

I did not receive the full order and my attempts to contact a person was so frustrating. I attempted the 24hr online chat option but it would not connect. I called the online store number - 'wait time busier than normal', same response last 2 times I tried calling. rang the Mirrabooka store and automated msg solution was to go to the store to pickup the missing items or refund option via the online chat bot! Am happy that items were delivered quickly. It's the follow up query system that is abysmal.

Very disappointed in promises made by…

Very disappointed in promises made by kmart click n collect. Product was shown as available at a particular store and, if ordered by 12pm on Friday, would be available at 4pm that same day. Then when I had paid a comment came up to say that they have a high volume of jobs and it wouldn't be available until Sunday. There is going to be a very disappointed little girl tomorrow. Please don't make promises you know you won't keep just to secure a sale!

KMART STOLE $100 FROM ME. ZERO STARS. On 8 June 2025 I purchased online $100 worth of clothing as a click & collect from the Rundle Mall store in Adelaide. On 11 June I collected the parcel & returned the clothing that same day as they did not fit. The staff member gave me no receipt for return despite my telling him that was not right. His reply was the store had nothing to do with online sales. He refused to provide any proof I had returned them & all I could get from him was it would take 2 weeks or so to get the refund. I had already heard another customer tell him she had still not received her refund, she got the same reply. Unfortunately I had to leave the items with him as I was going away. BIG MISTAKE. After 2 weeks of no refund all I could do was the online chat nonsense. I wasted a lot of time on numerous occasions with that, nothing was ever followed up as promised, emails were promised & never happened.
Since returning to Adelaide I have been unable to go to the Rundle Mall store to complain to the manager in person due to health problems. KMART THIS IS THEFT

NEVER BUY FROM THEM ONLINE

NEVER BUY FROM THEM ONLINE. Product not available when they are happy to take your money because I found out 2 weeks after. Their availability record is super unreliable. Then takes over a week to get a refund. And good luck if you can speak to customer services. Whoever run Kmart should be sacked as this is another Jetstar in the making.

Disappointed shopper

I have always been a shopper at kmart in store, however, my experience with shopping online, is something I will not attempt again.
Had been waiting for a coffee table to come back in stock and when on waiting list for when in again, as it seemed only possible to get this item online.
Email received and I placed my order immediately, paid for advised 3-5 days delivery.
It took just under 2 weeks and when it received, it was not in the finish I ordered.
The run around that followed, was frustrating. After managing a straight forward answer to my question online, advised it will be collected on a date, i am still waiting nearly 10 days later and 3 days waiting at home for courier on days told they coming. The 1st attempt kmart didn't advise the courier.
If only the staff picking the orders, took the time to check order sent out correctly, it was one item....as I am still waiting for the courier to collect, being the 3rd time a day organised. I will never purchase from them online again.
I am expecting that, if and when it does get collected, I will be next chasing my refund...so disappointed 😞
