Fantastic experience went yesterday for a consultation back today to see specialist problem solved after waiting 10 plus years on nhs waiting list.very professional and actually seemed to listen to me unlike previous appointments not private. Lovely clean tidy space.

Pre op with Mr. Bavshar very reassuring. Surgery (Mr. O'Neill) and anaesthetic (Mr. Lynch) excellent with plenty of consultation and reassurance. Nurse Grainne excellent on the night shift after surgery. Looked after me very well.
After care disgracefull. Made to get washed and dressed alone next morning only 8 hours after surgery. Nearly passed out and no nurse in the room for assistance.
Discharge disgraceful. No contact numbers for CTI nurse in Donegal. Dressing became sturated over the weekend and no-one to contact.

Everyone was very helpful. My doctor explained everything in detail which put my mind at ease.

I had a cataract removed yesterday at Kingsbridge. It was a wonderful experience and a great example of efficient healthcare. Patients were kept informed throughout about what to expect at every juncture of the process. Staff were friendly and courteous and there was a general ambience of competence - which is very comforting at a time of stress.

The Cardiac Consultant I saw was Professor Aaron Peace. He was extremely helpful, knowledgable and explained everything in detail. He had an excellent manner towards me which helped to put me at ease. Could not recommend him highly enough.

My appointment was 30 minutes late with no apology or explanation given. It would appear too many appointments are being made in a short time.

The staff and Dr were all kind and great but the procedure was incredibly painful and left me somewhat traumatised. I think some form of anaesthetic before hand would have been crucial. I assume not every frozen shoulder is the same and I have normally a very high pain threshold but I could not take the pain. I also had the feeling there was a bit of rush with people waiting before and after and I am upset I did not manage to ask anything I wanted to ask.

Kingsbridge is a lovely friend hospital, spacious and airy staff are all lovely and friendly. My only gripe is where it is in Belfast, parking is atrocious a more rural setting would be good
