I bought from i-cube before and the delivery times were within a reasonable timeframe. However I am really surprised to find that they can get away with lead times stretching into months. If you don't mind paying up front and waiting the rest of your life for a storage box then then thats okay I guess. However I will be looking elsewhere from now on as its a disappointing experience and I find unreasonable timeframes for something simple infuriating. They always have a 'Sale' on encouraging new orders, however it would be good it they put everything at 'full' price and caught up.

I ordered 4 LP-100-birch-natural on the 9th of Feb only to received them 15 weeks later. I was told at the end of the 12th week, production will happen in the 13th week and its all handmade i.e someone holds the wood and staples it. The 13th week came and went and nothing, then told production will happen in the 14th week, which happen to be the very end of the 14th week. The boxes were packaged very well, however, the boxes themselves are not worth the wait, with many of the cuts not even sanded to remove the splintering. So really the £140 was just for the wood not for craftsmanship and the lead times are a joke, the reviews that state it came quick are the lucky ones, it all depends on when I-Cubes are going to get around to making them!

Really highly recommended. Take a little time for the order to come through but that is to be expected with such a high quality item. Paint finish was fantastic and pricing very good. Would highly recommend

After Seeing all the bad reviews for I cube was going to cancel my order , After speaking to the manager was reassured my product would be delivered within 3 weeks . So give them the benefit of doubt not to let me down which was not so .

Items arrived perfect condition and bang on the delivery date as promised .I can only say thank you ! after all the doubts i had , I am very pleased with I Cube for there quality and service .

I don't normally review but will give praise when it's due so thank you I cube
for keeping your'e word and hope you deliver the same customer service for the rest of your customer's .

Let me list the good and bad points..

Good
- The website
- The 12"vinyl product is solid, currently has 70kg sitting on it no problem
- Delivery packaging is good

Bad
- Shambles back office, and i mean shambles... think of the worst company you have ever delt with and x10. How they are alive as a company on this point alone I cannot fathum..
- My product took 4 months to be delivered. They have a 'production schedule' which they do not disclose, but you sit somewhere on it at their discression.
- 7 calls to get the money owed to me after being told to pay the full amount and they will refund the difference on the offer.

I think i have made this pretty clear, and i hope icube read this and wake up ... you cannot run a business today with this level of back office ineptitude and appauling customer service

Products are decent for the money, but the waiting is interminable, and there is no chance of a reply to emails, or anyone answering the phone. This is unacceptable for any professional business. Only use them if you are not in a hurry.

11 weeks, still waiting, no reply to 4 emails. I will call next week (12). After that I will be down - ICUBE, Mill Lane, Syderstone, PE31 8RX, UK... finally arrived , product excellent, why is delivery and lead times so poor ??

Thank you for pulling out all the stops and delivering both I-cubes by Christmas. Delay in emailing this is due to seasonal virus!
They were in use within minutes of unpacking and do the job I expected very well - LPs, drinks and general stuff in matching stacked cubes (5 now) - an excellent way to tidy a small room.

Glaciers move faster than i-cubes

When they arrive, it's a good product, but customer service/experience is appalling. Because of previous bad experience, I asked about lead times ahead of order and was quoted 4 weeks...well we are now >10 weeks, and still no sign.

I went for the ICUBE birch plywood storage units and matching cd racks which when arrived were much more substantial than I was expecting - quite a wight to lift even empty! Now stacked up in the living room next to the hifi they're just perfect and they're not going to move an inch! Lovely items, thanks again.

The red cd shelves look fantastic in my living room and are filling up nicely.

Keeping track of my order was easy on the new website customer area.

As usual the ICUBES arrived beautifully packaged with care and attention.

Received order within advertised lead times. Storage Cubes arrived very well packed and in perfect condition. High quality items at good prices will be back for more when I fill up the cubes I have. Replied to emails and enquiries quickly.

I ordered a storage unit for 300 singles and it barely holds 270. A leeway of ten or so is fair enough, but not thirty! I emailed them and was told it varies on the thickness of the vinyl, but these are standard 7" singles! Even if there is some minor variation in thickness, that still wouldn't account for the difference between what I was expecting and what I received. I emailed them back with this assertion and received the exact same response. Avoid at all costs.

I've ordered from these guys before and it was a frustrating experience. You pay for your goods immediately and then wait ages for delivery. They quote up to twelve weeks for some MDF cubes! I could understand it if we were talking about a bespoke Italian dining room set but not CD storage cubes. So I ordered again recently as I have run out of storage space. Once again, five weeks on and no cubes or ETA of them.

I won't use them again. They need more staff to cope with the volume of business, as the shipping times in the modern age are way out of kilter. I expect it's one person knocking them up in his shed. Can't believe they're still in business actually.

When you eventually do get your cubes, they're fine and fit for purpose, but the effort of getting them really detracts from the enjoyment of them.

I ordered some I-Cubes after a lot of research and they seemed to be exactly the size I needed. I received immediate confirmation of my order. I must admit that I heard no more for several weeks and then read the reviews on this site which began to make me worried! I contacted the firm and received a prompt reply saying they would be ready 12 weeks after my initial order. I now have had them delivered and they do exactly what I wanted. They are made of plywood but are well put together. The main downside is the wait for the goods to be delivered. In this day and age of Amazon prime we expect next day delivery. However to be fair to the firm it does state clearly on the website that delivery times are up to 12 weeks.

I orded 4 cubes to my husband LP collection. I received a confirmation right after and the money was pulled from my Pay-Pal account, but as the days went by i did not hear anything about when I could expect to receive my order. I wrote them regarding my order and was told I could read more about delevery on their website??? Then I wrote to them again... No answer - And now I have canceled my order, and still haven't heard anything back. They do have a 14-day money back policy, but I highly doubt that I'll hear anything back from them. They are scam and fraud, people - So DO now buy anything from them. Oh... And by the way - You can't call them.

Ordered a single cube. Eventually turned up after 10 weeks. Very dissapointed with finish - laquer dribbles, glue marks.

Company did not return calls. Eventually got money back after raising PayPal dispute.

Avoid this company.

Awful experience. Ordered some cubes for cds and records, was told that there was a six week delay.... which turned into over three months delay. I was the one who did all the chasing up for delivery dates etc. I finally snapped when I saw that the same items which I had ordered, and which I kept getting excuses about, were for sale in the i-cubes ebay shop.... and had been all the time. The lie I was told at that stage was that there was a timber shortage from the main suppliers..... While ebay and paypal won't tolerate their customers being strung along....if you order through the i-cubes website you will have to wait until Mr. Pritchard feels like fulfilling your order, when he's not busy on twitter or changing his business address on google maps in order to remove bad reviews. As far as I can see his team is ..... him, some pre-cut timber and a few tools. That's why it takes "six weeks" to knock together some very basic boxes. Despite writing and asking, I have never received an explanation re: why it takes three months to fulfill my pre-paid order, while selling the same items on ebay. I won't be expecting an apology either. There are lots of companies out there selling vinyl/cd storage - I'm pretty sure I can recommend any of them as being better than i-cubes. I was lied to at every step of the way.

i ordered a small unit to store records, ordered on 4th of November didn't hear anything for a month so emailed company on 30th of November to ask where item was and was told it would be dispatched next week asked what days would be best i requested Monday or Tuesday item did not arrive someone tried to deliver Thursday so requested re delivery for Friday again it didnt arrive . Have now canceled order and bought same unit from ikea for £20 cheaper avoid
