I had pretty much the same experience as everyone else. Placed an order last November, the delivery window came and went with no contact and no delivery. I repeatedly asked for updates and was either ignored or told that I would receive an update - which, like the units, never came.
I said I wanted to cancel my order if it was not going to be delivered shortly and was ignored, but an email saying that I would make a chargeback claim on my payment card prompted a response and a refund.
Only order if you don't mind giving i-cubes an interest free loan for many months...

Please don’t buy from this company. I ordered a unit in January 2018 and received it after about 12 weeks and was very happy with it. I decided to order a couple more in November and December 2018, chasing delivery after 12 weeks to be told one would be sent shortly and they would confirm when the second would be sent. I then received a delivery confirmation and tracking number but when it didn’t arrive I contacted the courier company who confirmed that they had never received the item.
After eventually getting through to Carl on the phone he admitted they were having problems and would be contacting all customers to say they were not able to honour the orders and money would be refunded. I asked if this would be automatic and he said it would be better to make a claim through PayPal! He also said a notice would be going up on the website which it clearly hasn’t as items are still for sale.
Such a shame as it’s a good product but please don’t waste your money.

Hard to believe anyone is this slack. After 15 weeks I started asking for the delivery date. They never answered. I texted them, they didn't answer. I called them. They didn't' answer.
Then surprise! They refunded my money.
Total waste of time.
Could have gotten shelves months ago elsewhere.
I really hate these people.

22 weeks and waiting for 2 storage units. Echoing most other people I wish I'd read reviews. While I'll be pleased and relieved if the bloody things arrive, I am not holding out hope.
Have emailed and called repeatedly. Have had various promises from Carl, which are never met. I'm actually astonished he hasn't just changed his phone number. I'm pleased to read that some people receive the units, but have a strong suspicion that they may all be Carl's friends and family. Quite tempted to drive to Norfolk and collect them myself, although suspect it may be similar to Dorothy and her friends meeting the Great Oz.

Can only echo the reviews of other customers - except I did receive my order and it was good - but painful getting it sorted. I order 7 vinyl units at a cost of nearly £500 in July 2018 and finally got them late November after many chases, excuses, requests for info. They offered me a 10% refund which never materialised. I actually needed to order more and had tried contacting them (never a good sign when a company removes it's phone number from the website) and emails had gone unanswered for a week or so... then checked here and so glad I did. Best avoid - I will be in future. It's a shame - the product is excellent, the service shambolic. Good luck

Ordered in December 2018 and had no communication or ETA. Contacted the seller on a mobile (only number available), I could hear he was outside but said he was just checking the orders and said it would be with me on the 4th of March. I only received written confirmation of this when I escalated this through PayPal. I have since had to escalate further as the item has not arrived and I have received no confirmation of any kind. I don't believe this to be a con-artist. Just someone who has absolutely no idea how to run a business, organise his affairs, use email automation, or prioritise orders or recruit people to help him. He therefore seems to just ignore orders but keep the cash.

There seems to be a pattern going on here and I have to agree - DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! Ordered 10 units back in August 2018 to store my vinyl after moving home, 15 weeks' delivery advertised, called at the end of the year to find out what was going on. I was told I'd get them the following week, kept calling week after week, same assurance stringing me along. They finally apologised and promised a refund, at which point no refund, no replies to numerous emails, phone line constantly "unavailable" (they'd probably blocked my number by that point).
Thank goodness I paid through Paypal, they gave iCubes a couple of weeks to reply to my dispute and they didn't even get back to them so Paypal refunded me without question.
I notice after all the bad experiences people have had - and it seems to be the same behaviour time and again - these guys still have a fully functioning website up advertising their products, claiming to be "The UK's No. 1"!!!!! Totally ridiculous.

Same experience as everyone else here. I cancelled after four months, fortunately I got a refund quite soon after opening a paypal case. BTW Juno sell similar with next day delivery.

Like the review below I ordered Oct 2nd 2018 and five months on no product. Same as everyone else I’ve had the runaround. At the moment I’m over three hundred pounds out of pocket. I would put his phone number up, but what is the point he just gives you flannel. Don’t go near this company.

Waaah - why didn't I look up reviews first?!! The website looks so legit and actually, unlike some other reviewers, I always managed to get hold of Carl on the phone and he usually emailed back - but obviously continually fobbing me off with promised deliveries that have never transpired.
I ordered on October 3rd last year and have been really patient. First promised delivery in December, then on 9th Jan was promised 'next week', then 24th Jan - 'next week', then again on 1st Feb 'next week'. We are now 1st March and I emailed yesterday with no response and I see that Carl has now removed his phone number from the website. I am 5 months in.

Ordered my shelves 6 months ago. Had a similar experience of being lied to, being ignored. Managed to get my money back via the Chargeback Scheme (document your email conversations as proof).
The vendor makes loads of promises, with no intention of following through on them. That is, of course, if you're lucky enough to get a hold of the vendor in the first place.

My experience with this company is very much the same as other people who have given a bad review but I wanted to add mine as I think it's important that potential purchasers see the number of people who have been let down by the utterly abysmal customer service from this Company.
I ordered 10 boxes in August 2018 in two different colours, paying for them in full up front. At this time I was quoted up to 15 weeks for delivery. The company made no contact with me from this point and it was up to me to chase for updates. It wouldn't have been so bad if they had arrived in the 15 weeks but, of course, they didn't. Interestingly, an email sent within the 15 week period asking about progress did receive a reply, although it gave no information about delivery. Once the 15 weeks had elapsed all emails I sent were ignored. I did speak to the man who runs the company on the phone twice to ask for progress but was told blatant lies on both occasions (at 13 weeks – “They will be ready in a couple of weeks,” and at 16 weeks – “They are just being finished off and someone will contact you next week about delivery.” At 21 weeks, having paid through Paypal, I got them involved which did prompt an immediate response from I-Cubes who promised delivery in 2 to 4 weeks. I told them that I only had 3 weeks before Paypal would close the claim and wanted them before that. They didn't arrive and a further message to I-Cubes through Paypal was ignored. At this point – five and a half months later - I got a refund through Paypal.
The appallingly long delivery wait is one thing and the lack of communication another but what has REALLY irritated me is the fact that this company seems to think it is okay to take money from customers up front and then to treat them with so little respect by ignoring them and lying to them when they are asking reasonable questions about why their orders haven't been filled. I'm amazed no enterprising carpenter who can knock up boxes, paint them and deliver them in a reasonable time hasn't seen a gap in the market here. AVOID I-CUBES UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEING MESSED AROUND!

Awful company. Ordered goods in June, never received. Tried to cancel, no response from them. Out of pocket over £100

I ordered four items in April - and items of the same dimensions, but in two cases with different (cheaper) finishes have just been delivered. That is nine months between order and delivery. When ordering I thought I would look at the quality and decide whether to order more. I will not be ordering more.

Totally agree with every negative review posted, I've had a
6 months wait after 1st one "lost" at couriers depot!!
The finished article is not to bad quality but given the price I would have expected,say, the exposed edges of the cube to have a beading type finish to them not the exposed marine ply.
Whoever runs this company doesn't seem to have any customer care skills but they do have a sense of humor - promising a discount on future purchases for a good review here!! - it's amazing they are still in business.

It's weird
It's weird, because when the product does eventually arrive - they're not bad. No better nor worse than you see as advertised on the website. Therefore, I'm confident that you'll have no complaints about the physical cubes themselves. However....
It took 6 months from date of e-order to delivery. Within this time (and after the laughable 10-weeks (!) official order time has elapsed) emails were then not responded to, so it was a constant process trying to get them (him only?) on the phone. Excuses were proffered ("they are on the 'production schedule' to be made next week" / "they are all ready in the warehouse") - but don't believe any of it. All lies, to try get you off the phone. Only with the threat of full refund hanging over him, and then an extra 4 weeks bought with more inventive excuses which contradicted previous excuses, did they end up being delivered.
So? Decent product itself. But factor in the frustration of having emails ignored, then having to constantly phone to be lied to, many unfulfilled promises, excuses, more phone calls, and the unpleasant experience of having to resort to threats to get him to actually deliver what he had been paid for many months ago. My advice? The service you receive is so demoralising and tiresome you are better off sourcing them elsewhere.
