Buy from somewhere else!

Waited months, tried contacting the company with no success. Luckily I paid via PayPal. PayPal contacted the company and also had no response so refunded my money.
Don’t bother with this company!

I have ordered from ICube in the past…

I have ordered from ICube in the past and everything service, product was great. Placed another order towards the end of 2018, since then have emailed and tried calling numerous times, no response with either method. Can only assume they are out of business and still have my money!!!

Order never arrived

Ordered in the January sale. Waited a while as they had a fairly long lead time. Got to March and emailed for an update - no reply. Then tried calling several times. No reply. Googled them to see what was up and looks like everyone has been scammed. Now trying to get my funds back through Paypal.

Luckily got my money back from Paypal as vendor didn't reply.

I would not have ordered had I of seen others reviews

I would much prefer not to give this company any stars!

If only I had seen these reviews before placing my
Order on the 15/3/19 I’ve had no replies or a refund from
This company and have since contacting my bank to claim a refund.

It seems from other reviewers that the company is no longer trading.

Icube have possibly gone out of business

Further to my review a couple of weeks ago I have been trying to contact icube but unable to contact them by phone or email, even PayPal sent them an email which they fail to respond to. I did find a number for a company called economical storage who are in the same place as icube used to be. Economical storage have told me they have ceased trading so I advise everyone who has paid any money to his company contact your bank to get it back like I have already done and received a refund.

It's such a shame

It's such a shame. I have been ordering from iCUBE for many years. My last order was incomplete after waiting 16 weeks, I called and was told the balance would be delivered the next week. That was 3 weeks ago. Now no one answers the phone or replies to texts or emails. I guess I will have to take this up with PayPal...

Take your money & deliver nothing.

I ordered a small, 2-cube vinyl storage unit from iCube on 7 October 2018. They have a very long delivery time (c 15 weeks), and I asked if my unit could arrive as soon as possible as my original shelving had collapsed - I was told that would be no problem. However, by 27 February 2019 I still hadn't received the unit, or any communication from the company. I rang to find out what was happening, and discovered the unit hadn't even been constructed. I asked for my money back, and I was told my payment would be refunded. It's now 1 April, and I still haven't received my money back. I've contacted PayPal to try and get my payment refunded, and if I end up having to take this company to court I'll do so. All in all, a very bad experience. It looks like many others have had similar experiences too. If they've stopped trading, I don't know how I'm going to get my money back.

Unfortunately the same experience. Ordered x2 double vinyl units on 29th December, have chased twice and no response. Last chase I threated to take up with my credit card company which I've now done so I don't waste any more time. Interestingly the contact number has been removed from their website.

It's a shame because I ordered 4 double units from i-cubes a couple of years ago and I'm very happy with them.

The owner just needs to be honest with people who have the trust to pay up front

Shame to see I-Cube in difficulty

Like many other customers leaving negative reviews over the last 3 months I placed 2 orders at the beginning of February ‘19 but haven’t received them or had any replies to my emails and web contact forms.
Just as well I checked on Trustpilot to see that they’ve apparently stopped trading.
I’ve used them several times over the years - although delivery was not quick, the storage units were good & did turn up and contact was responded to.
However, it seems that things have taken a turn for the worse.
Just contacted PayPal with 2 concerns to resolve - hoping to see a positive outcome in the near future.
Will add another entry here to confirm if my orders were received or whether PayPal could secure a full refund.
Not sure if their website is still taking orders but ‘would-be’ new customers checking on Trustpilot should wait until some positive reports are recorded.

I made my order for 16 record cubes on…

I made my order for 16 record cubes on September 29th, 2018 for a sum of £704.00. I thought it was a good deal, considering that they are advertised as hand-made products at 20% off. Carl misled me all the way through, promising completion of fabrication after 19 weeks (already overdue), then shipment after 22, finally citing supplier problems but imminent shipment nonetheless after 24 weeks...Each time he would promise a 2-3 week ETA. I had to write multiple emails, phone calls only to get false information at each turn. I was dumb enough to be duped to the point that my PayPal 180 days refund period expired. Only today, after many phone calls and emails did I receive their standard form letter asking to refund the order...after 27 weeks! Come on! My only recourse is to seek legal action. Ridiculous! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Ordered 1 unit at the beginning of February thinking it won't be too long. Wrong. Got through once on the phone and fobbed off with an excuse saying next week. All calls and emails ignored (loads) after that even to cancel and refund. Applied for a refund via card. Very poor, do not use.

Warning! Do Not Use This Company!

Similar dreadful experience to the vast majority of people here. Professional-looking website lulls you into a false sense of security. Two promised deadlines passed without delivery after 4.5 months, about 15 unanswered emails, two unanswered texts and an unanswered call. I've now disputed the charge via PayPal, who will issue a refund. I bought Kallax shelving from Ikea at a fraction of the cost and stuck lengths of PVC angle to the top of each shelf towards the back to provide a backstop for records.

ICUBE closing its business

Has anyone else received the following email from ICUBE ?.

I’m so sorry we’re closing the business this week and unable to fulfill your order due to ongoing supply and financial issues.

Please contact your credit card or PayPal to raise a refund for which you have 180-day buyer protection.

We tried to go on as long as we could, we appreciate our customers over the last 15 years, and hope that you will be understanding during these very difficult time for us.

Do not waste your money with this company.

Having previously bought items from i-Cube, I had a good experience a few years ago, albeit service was slow.

Having ordered another unit in January 2019, I have repeatedly chased Carl by email and phone trying to get clarity on the order. I was fobbed off a few times with promises of delivery dates, none of which were fulfilled. I have now lost patience and am reclaiming my money via my credit card.

Still waiting!!

I ordered 2 double units at a cost of £152 at the end of November 2018 and had been looking forward to what appeared to be a fine looking storage solution. 1-15 weeks for delivery. I thought this a little vague at the time, but it is now the 22 March 2019.

Like everyone else it seems, I only managed to speak to Carl once out of at least 12 phone calls and have only received 1 email after that phone call promising 2 weeks for delivery. All other emails (at least 6) have been ignored.

Now in the process of a refund via PayPal. A real shame as the product looks great and made in the UK. Like the majority of reviews here, I strongly recommend you do not give I-Cubes your money!

Absolute joke

Probably my worst experience ever online shopping. Sixteen weeks since I ordered and after being ignored by seller I had to get PayPal to intervene and credit to them they swiftly dealt with it and almost refunded immediately. I would recommend that you avoid this farcical company its not worth the hassle

An absolute disgrace

An absolute disgrace, I patiently waited for the specified lead time and like others here, after months have past, started to request for an update on the delivery. Do not answer mobile phone, do not respond to texts, do not respond on online web enquiries. I started to feel cheated and that a fraud has been committed.
