They keep direct debit me once a year…
They keep direct debit me once a year without any active cover!! I keep cancelling the direct debit but this is the second year that they have took £10 from me! I have cancelled this service 2 years ago!! Disgusting and dodgy

The process was simple enough, super friendly staff on the phone. The engineer that was sent out was fantastic, Ross. Great chat and brilliant service. Guys needs a pay raise.

Terrible company
Terrible company. Avoid at all costs. When our washing machine was out of warranty we took a policy out with homesheild and was told we would get a like for like replacement and what we got was a machine that was not even half as good. Now they keep setting up direct debits with out my permission.
Honestly the worst company ever and very un helpful staff.

Appalling company, avoid at all costs.
I took out a policy with this company after they phoned me and offered me an insurance policy to cover my washing machine for repair or replacement if it broke down. I took out the policy several months ago.
10 days ago, our washing machine broke down. We telephoned the helpline number and were given a date for an "engineer" to look at the appliance 8 days later. The first available appointment. He arrived, had a quick look at the appliance and said the drainage hose was blocked. It wasn’t blocked. I explained the problem and that the machine wasn't spinning. He disagreed with me. He asked me to.put a full load on, which i did. 9 minutes before the end of the cycle, the machine stopped. It would not spin. He continued to stare at the machine for quite some time. Then he reluctantly opend up the machine, and found 2 faults. He said he would order 2 new parts, but they probably wouldn't fix the problem. I then phoned the repair company to ask whst to do next. I was told thst they would email the "engineer's" report, and also email it to Homeshield Direct. We never received the email.
Yesterday I telephoned Honeshield Direct for an update. They said thst the "engineer" had reported no fault found and closed the repair. Homeshield Direct are now investigating this. And are going to phone us this morning with their response. It is now this afternoon and they have not telephoned us. We have a broken washing machine and this company absolutely do not care. They are closed for the next 2 days. When they hopefully telephone us next week, we will have been without a working washing machine for 2 weeks. Please avoid this company and do not waste yiur money. Do some indepth research and chose a company thst will repair or replace your appliance, not leave you without a working washing machine. We have been missed this policy. The company does not provide the service it is selling to customers. Avoid at all costs.
