Bad communication from haart croydon. Stuck into a 20 week contract with agents who dont answer emails or answer the phone. First 4 werks my property wasnt uploaded onto rightmove. I had to complain to head office as croydkn kept asking me for an epc certificate which i sent many times so unprofessional. I told haart im not happy with their service but no reply. I guess haart croydon wanted to get me tied into a contract with the intent to have leverage so i cant sell to anyone else without haart getting their piece of the profit. Dont waste your time with haart croydon you will be dissapointed. Ive given haart croydon 1 star but would prefer to gjve a sub zero rating.

I and my partner met Kamran 5 weeks ago and we were made to believe we had secured a house we wanted to let only to be told a week later that the landlord pulled out.Had paid holding deposit in a rush,was told a lie about getting it back within 7 working days.Been ringing their office very week and given a fake promise that the funds have been released,taking our bank details and all only to be told the next week that someone forgot to process the funds.I do not believe Haart letting is a legit company but just a scam and will be reaching out to relevant authorities to recover my money.Please stay away from this scam.

Very disappointing service from haart Croydon.
I moved into the property today and basic things were not checked, including the lights, hot water, and the garden. When I informed the manager, instead of an apology I was told that I am not the first person to move into a house like this and that they do not check every property. I was also told I need to “adjust.”

This is unprofessional and unacceptable for a letting agent. I would not recommend haart Croydon.

Excellent service from Haart in selling the property within a few days of it going onto the market. A smooth transaction managed well by Oswald and Aswaq Abdul Mansour. Thanks guys for all your hard work and help in getting this completed so quickly.

Haart Lettings (specifically the Croydon/Sutton branch) displays all the attributes of an unprofessional, and scam company.

They're so nice at first to you as a prospective tenant just to commit you to a contract and get your deposit.

The very moment you're committed, you're literally on your own. Whenever you need them for anything and call, it's either the person you're supposed to speak to is in a meeting, or just stepped out.. ..and they'll never call back. Specific mentions to Tiffany and Nahid, who suddenly became unreachable when I wanted my deposit back.

At the end of your tenancy, they'll deploy every trick in the world to get you to forfeit your hard earned deposit. Your only bet of recovering your deposit is via a protracted process with the Tenancy deposit scheme.

This is not just a personal experience. Read through all the reviews online and on Trustpilot. The 5stars are from new tenants who just moved in. The 1stars are from existing/former tenants whom they treat like trash when it's time for maintenance or to return the deposits. That tells you all you need to know.

Transact with this company at your own risk.

Gave them a list of things wrong. Black mould, broken blinds, leaking sink, mice, kept my hanging for weeks still not fixed while rogue landlord suns himself in Spain. Be very careful renting from them, they do not give a damn.

These people are the worst kind of human beings. They have no regard for their customers, they are worthless in every respect. There are far better estate agents who actually hire human beings, as opposed to haart employees.

THE WORST ESTATE AGENTS! Promote and continue to deal with racist landlords and are simply moneygrabbers. I was lied to and treated so rudely, wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy!
They should be ashamed of themselves, from management who refuse to speak to you down to the assistants that have no customer service etiquette. Just useless from the top to the bottom quite frankly

I had the best experience with haart.Also I highly recommend Ellie, she helped a lot and made it so easier for us.

We met her at home viewing appointment and were particularly impressed with her level of knowledge and commitment to assist us in finding a perfect home, through frequent calls, texts and emails. She is very organised and punctual and a wonderful estate agent to work with in search of a house.Good luck and thank you.

Dealing with Haarts property management team was an extremely tedious, unpleasant, and frustrating process.

The team is truly incompetent. The staff turnover is extremely high and you will have a new property manager every month, give or take.

The communication is abysmal with both the tenant and landlord alike. When you need to contact them; they are always conveniently in a meeting, on holiday leave, or just left the office. It is comical how a company can operate like this. They also did not provide me with my EICR certificate, which I paid for and needed for future tenancy after requesting numerous times via email and phone.

It may seem that due to the level of neglect and poor communication and management from Haart, my property was damaged severely by tenants, goods were stolen/ missing, and check in and check-outs were either not conducted properly or not done at all. This led to damages of over 2500GBP+ and was only reimbursed a laughable amount of 155gbp from the tenant's deposit.

I had the displeasure of dealing specifically with Callum, Nahid, and Ashley of the Croydon branch, and will never use this company again. Truly a horrific experience. High fees for a lackluster service.

Thank god for Ellie, she's god sent and wonderful person. she helped me secured the apartment. It was a very smooth and seamless process, from getting booked for viewing, got accepted also the referencing.

This was the best viewing experience we ve ever had. Kyle was v professional and explained everything about all properties.
Very informative and and supportive in all ways. He cleared many of the doubts we had. Altogether we had a great experience which is not always the case with any other estate agents.

Very difficult to get a hold of. Was interested in a property, finally managed to get in touch with the branch who told me they would call me back to confirm viewing dates. A week later, no news and the property has been let. Not dealing with them again.

BUYER BEWARE

I have been a landlord for nearly 30yrs & have found haart to be the most incompetent of all agents.

Please do not use them.

1). They constantly make mistakes.

2). They constantly evade responsibility for their mistakes.

3). They constantly delay dealing with your complaints in the hope it will go away.

4). They have a high turnover of staff.

Poor poor and poor. I wrote a review a few months ago explaining how rubbish this service is and a senior manager got involved, things started picking up, I was getting updated and such but after a couple months all of that has gone down the drain. Myself and my tenant are unable to get through to anyone at the Croydon branch, when I do get through I’m always told the person dealing with my property is never there and they will get them to call me back which never happens. My tenant has been behind on rent for MONTHS, Haart has said they’ve started a claim as I opted in for the cover but nobody can give me an update on that. When my tenant is ready to pay, NOBODY PICKS UO THE PHONE. Only person that’s been decent is Ashley, he does try to get back to me when I speak to him but this service is poor and I wouldn’t recommend it, they don’t do anything, I speak to the tenant more than they do so what am I paying for?

Kyle was a very knowledgeable and kind agent from Haarts Croydon. He's extremely informative and even helped me understand the process of buying for the first time as a first time buyer.
