Total 110% cowboy after buying a pair of shoe that he said are water proof they are not very in light rain your feet are wet straight away the second thing was a GPS watch a golf buddy WTX + after taking it back to the shop ( not working ) he said I’ll get the company to call me I rang them after waiting for a call the for a couple of days they did a new software re load plus a new card it’s now work no thanks to Mr Nicholson

I have never heard so much BS from one person in such a short time. He will say anything to get a sale. He speaks with such confidence, you trust him, but be aware, it is most likely BS.

Great customer service from greg Nicholson. Had a dodgy bit of equipment and he was on the phone to his supplier and within 2 days I had a replacement delivered to my door. Excellent mate, cheers.

I have used Greg for about 12 months and find him easy to deal with.A man with an excellent knowledge of golf and extremely helpful.He has sorted out much of my golf and the clubs I have purchased have been totally as described and of a good quality.I notice that several persons have given a poor review but all I can say is that you never get anything for nothing and although there are always cheaper deals in the market you get what you pay for.Keep up the good work Greg

This is by far the worst company I have EVER used, The owner who has two names by the way just in case he needs to squirm out of things at a later date is amongst other things a total Liar.

My father has been a customer of Greg’s for 30 plus years. Throughout that time he has always provided honest and appropriate advice as his years advanced. My father bought all his golfing equipment from Greg and always preferred the face to face discussions and getting a good deal. This past 6 months my wife and I decided to get a full set of clubs, bags, electric trolleys each. We spent half a day with Greg assessing our individual needs and getting measured up for our custom settings. We both found Greg to be a very knowledgable golfer as well as a pleasant and affable person to deal with. At no time were we under any sales pressure and he afforded us his experienced based advice and although we spent a four figure sum between us we felt we had concluded a good deal. Well done Greg and keep up the traditional values that makes visiting your shop such a pleasure!

Been using Greg's shop for a long time now, he always has the best prices i seem to find if not he's very willing to match any other competition. His shop is well stocked, i found a driver i wanted on the website and he had it in stock ready for me to collect the next day. I traveled up and down the country to find a well priced and honest golf expert, i save a tonne of time and money since I've been going to Greg, he can always get any product you want even if he doesn't stock it!

This shop is a total con, he preys on the novice or uneducated golfer. He doesn’t have prices on products and then charges up to double the prices you’d pay in other more reputable golf shops.

Check prices online before you buy anything from him. He his like a car salesman working in a golf shop. I wish I’d seen reviews about him before getting sucked into his charm and well versed sales technique.

I have bought several things of Greg in the last 2 yrs he was most helpful and very professional in telling me what was best this guy knows his stuff so don’t listen to people who doubt this guy I have recommended many people to him and all are happy so far thanks for the advice Greg I’m playing better than ever now cheers ian Scotland

Greg was extremely helpful whilst trying to close the deal. However once he had my cash for a full set of ping clubs he did not want to know!! He should be selling used cars from a motorway layby!!

I recently bought an M4 3 wood from Greg Nicholson golf at Blakemere outlet village, not only did I receive great advice about the different options available but he bettered the price from any other supplier. There’s also a great range of clubs and equipment in the shop. I will be back soon.

Can’t agree with last small-minded reviewer - everyone makes genuine mistakes sometimes. I called the shop for some advice on a Lynx bag and clubs for my wife who’s new to golf. Greg spent half an hour advising me on the various options, he is extremely knowledgeable, and at the end of it I felt confident enough to order a complete set over the phone. Greg committed to delivery to Coventry on a set day and everything arrived exactly as agreed, packaged really well. I also ordered an additional set of clubs for myself to take abroad, and again, these arrived exactly as promised. The costs Greg quoted were better than I could get elsewhere either online or from my local shop. Overall I can’t find anything to complain about at all, and would highly recommend Greg Nicholson golf to anyone. Just ignore previous review! Nick M, Coventry

Recently bought a shirt from the man himself, who told me it was "on offer at the moment". Purchased the shirt and got it home only to find he had charged me more than RRP. The man is a shark. Steer well clear

I recently visited the store, and WOW what a great exprience! Greg certainly knows his stuff, amazing service and he really takes his time in valuing each one of his customers. I brought a number of items off Greg whilst Christmas shopping at Blakemere, and his range of golfing equipment is fantastic. I wanted a light weight golf buggy for my father in law and Greg really took his time in showing me which different styles would be suitable. He even offered to have me one sent out to my home address the next day as it would not fit in my car. Outstanding service and great golf store. Definitely be returning!

A really extensively stocked shop with many golf and leisure products. Greg knows his stuff and is always happy to help - he gave me some expert advice on what and how I could improve my game. Loved the clubs, trolley and jacket I got from him. Will definitely be back soon!

We were very disappionted when I ordered my husband a golf bag from Greg Nicholson.The owner manager contacted my husbandand told him the bag I had ordered was not available instead he said he could provide an alternative which cost more £50 in total.At the time my husband thought he said £15:00 extra. As such he agreed.it actually cost £50:00 more .
When I contacted him to discuss this he was extremely defensicve and would not listen and constantly talked over me a technique that is not customer focussed .
He told me that the £50:00 included a £10:00 guarantee for delivery by Chrismas which was not discussed or agreed. He told me his supplier had a bereavement and couldn't supply the original bag ordered and that I could phone him myself if I wanted to check.
This is really unacceptable practice , when I wanted to return the bag and asked for a refund as would be my rights under recent legislation he refused and said he would not refund the money. As far as we are concerned we would never order anything from this shop again the customer service could do well from learning from other companies as this was not an acceptable way to speak to anyone . He used highly emotive language to try to fob us off and detract us from the real issue.

I have just experienced a very unpleasant and unsatisfactory association with this business. I have been left with the feeling that I have been deceived and ripped off, but questionable procedures by the vendor make it difficult to prove.There is a fine line between sharp practice, deceit and dishonesty. From my experience, it could be argued that this is the zone in which this business operates; it could also be argued that the individual who interacts with customers does this in a deliberate and consistent manner and gains satisfaction from it. My advice would be to keep well clear from this operation. Look out for the no returns or exchanges policy.

Ordered a Big Max cart bag, had phone call straight away to say I could have the ordered one, but the new model with different colours were released, told if I changed, it would be about 14 to come. which it did, completely satisfied with product and staff. Thank you Greg Nicholson.
