Here we go again after a year of nothing and paying up another treating letter relating to Horizon parking .decreaful how thoses companies get away with treating behaviour special to people who taken theating letters by heart older people and female drivers if you go to the car parks they control you will now notice they are mainly empty specially tescos one as they find the slightest thing to for issuing a ticket .the tesco near us no longer use this company for parking control as they have lost so many customers if you go on the companies house Web site you will see both companies are linked together .I have gone on the companies house website to complain about the 2 companies and investigate theses companies .the following people are registered for theses companies if you want to complain to companies house due to the large number of complaints on here .Gladstone solicitors Davies John Liewellyn .Horizon parking limited. paid this compost on 2023 just today for 2 emails with 2 different refs saying i owe 2 firms no amount nothing tried calling 10 times no answer payment line just wks how much u like to pay am i meant to guess??? ref and number plate don't match either 🤷🏻😂

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received regarding my parking charge case. Despite being fully within the appeals window, neither the parking firm nor Gladstones Solicitors made any effort to respond to me or acknowledge the evidence I repeatedly attempted to provide. I was passed back and forth with no communication, no support, and no willingness to engage with a straightforward appeal.

I was a genuine paying customer at the time of the alleged parking incident, and the business involved even confirmed this directly. This entitled me to one hour of free parking, and yet this was ignored, and the matter was allowed to escalate unnecessarily.

What has made this situation even more stressful is that, due to my professional role, I cannot have a court case hanging over me. I made every reasonable attempt to resolve this properly and responsibly, but the lack of communication and disregard for the appeals process has been incredibly unprofessional.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm to anyone dealing with a parking charge or any matter requiring timely, responsible communication.

Have received parking fine even though have an e-permit and have produced evidence. These bunch of cowboys would not accept the evidence and wouldn’t even respond to emails. How this company can call UK- CPM their client is disgusting.
Melissa B was very patronising towards me on the phone and spoke down to me. She accused me of speaking over her when this is what she did to me throughout the whole conversation. Very unprofessional.
Disgusting solicitors

I have just been to Court to challenge Horizons parking fine,and Gladstones harassment. The fine had risen to £263 and after reading Trustpilot reviews I decided to go to court and challenge them. The court heard my evidence and a very understanding judge ruled in my favour,and dismissed the case. I urge all of to challenge this rag tag group of con men (Gladstone Solicitors)if you are convinced you are in the right. Mr John Campbell

Terrible company. Sent me a text message threatening me with a CCJ, no previous communications and don't even know what it is regarding. Tried calling - just waited for 20 minutes. Will be reporting to regulator,

It’s a shame you can’t give 0 stars this is the most scamming company of all time don’t pay them a penny they take on debt on illegal parking fines and then try scare you and go to the courts even got a letter nearly 7 years later after not paying a illegal parking ticket they have some how manage to get the courts involved which I find madness that the courts go along with these things literally got a parking fine for parking outside my house I wasn’t causing any obstruction whatsoever ever which was claimed!!

Abusive staff, chasing a fine nearly a year after issuing but not made any contact nor did any buisess pior to this. The business confirmed the fine was issued incorrectly and gladstones have ignored them and are Illegally harassing us for funds not owed.

I was contacted by Gladstones after Horizon Parking and Empira gave up trying to extort me for allegedly having parked in a Tesco car park during "Storm Bert" (National Radio had advised drivers to get off the M6). After the first time I was contacted, I advised Gladstones not to contact me again unless it was to provide me a "court date". I have been contacted twice since, but not with a "court date". From now on, I will be responding to all contact by posting letters to Gladstones Solicitors/False Claims and Harassment Dept...

I received a parking fine letter (170£)

What the hell is going on ?!?!?

I spoke to Simon who was extremely rude and unprofessional, my problem was not solved. I came off the phone feeling embarrassed that I couldn't pay the fine and also really disrespected with his attitude and tone. This is not a reputable company I would highly advise you to avoid the business . 0 compassion and clearly they dont enjoy their customer facing job.

All correspondence regarding a parking fine went to my old address so I had no awareness.

Resulted in financial blackmark on credit score, which was my first awareness of the issue.

Called Gladstones to discuss appealing and they advised me to pay the outstanding fee which I did. Submitted the appeal form. And now told I cannot appeal because I have already paid the initial fee, so there is nothing to appeal.

Bordering on negligent legal advise.

And of course you sit in a hold queue for hours every time you try to contact them.

We ALL need to stand up against Gladstone solicitors and STOP paying in full and take them to court.
I have been going back and forth via email since around April. I can't afford the £170 fine so have offered multiple times to pay in instalments, and cited the protocols that parking fine companies and solicitors are supposed to abide by.
They are not legally allowed to refuse paying in instalments. They have to accept them. DON'T PAY in full. If they threaten to take you to court (I am still waiting for my court date, in which I will cite that I have made every effort to satisfy this outside of court) let them take you to court. I'm hoping they will get laughed out, if they don't, well, the world has gone mad.
Seriously though, don't let them bully you. Follow the rules and the steps, communicate and stand your ground.

My address was used by someone unknown to me and I started to receive letters (who I now know to be Horizon Parking), which I returned to sender. This went on for a year or so, I then received another letter which I opened as I had enough of receiving the correspondence for this other person, this was from Gladstone Solicitors, I explained the situation and they said that’s fine I’ll add the information to the file, I didn’t expect to hear from them again. Today I received a letter to Homeowner/Occupier, I opened it and it was from Gladstone Solicitors, saying they are going to keep pursuing at my address until they get it in writing that said person no longer lives here. I tried to explain this person had never lived here, but they are still going to pursue even though I told them I am an OAP disabled female. A very rude lad said read the letter get legal advice and put the phone down. Very unprofessional.

One star is flattering this parasitic company. They are not solicitors but a company who are complient in supporting PPCs extorting law abiding citizens who fall foul to a parking technicalities. I was working as a freelance delivery driver to support my disabled sons medical bills and pulled into the front area of a block of private flats. Delivering too was a Royal Mail Van whome I asked the driver where its ok to stop and deliver to which I was told yes. I took parcel up one floor to a flat and returned in under 2 minutes and left. I subsequently worked away for 4 weeks only to return to find a parking charge of £100. I rang the company and was told I had missed the appeals time frame despite sending evidence. Next thing Gladstones wrote to me demanding penalty plus costs. I emailed evidence and received an email saying irrespective of me delivering to a resident i was not displaying a residents permit so were taking me to county court. They said the Contract T&Cs were clearly displayed. I returned to try and find them only to see a sign the size of A4 paper with type size 8 text next to a huge sign saying Lidl Parking (Lidl behind flats but have a sign at the front!) I called them and after 20minutes of speaking to robots I got through to a human (a human without empathy or undrrstanding) i asked to speak to the lady who emailed me to be told she doesnt take phone calls only emails. I explained my position and my mortgage was due for renewal, sole carer of disabled child needing 24/7 care and her response with a giggle 'pay or court' i asked whether royal mail were also being prosecuted to be told they cant comment on other cases and mind my own business. These people are as bad if not worse than the PPCs who have turned parking into a free for all extortion racket. Do NOT do business with these predators, if you are unfortunate and forced into dealing with them dont expect to engage with a genuine human being just a corporate monster extorting genuin, hard working, law abiding citizens. As my mortgage was up for renewal I could not afford a CCJ so whilst I would normally fight unethical practices from predators like these, I had to put my disabled sons needs first so paid. It cost ne more than I made that week. As I said to the spineless woman ho giggled at me about 'pay or court' Karma always catches up which gives me some solice

Won’t follow legal protocols and threaten CCJ’s just to get some money in
They do it because why bother fighting such small amounts of money it makes no sense to and they get away with it! It’s awful

This company Horizon Parking runs a scam as it assumes that most people throw away their receipts after paying parking and then get bombarded with demands for absorbent charges which they pass to debt recovery agents. if every one affected by this company complains to the financial conduct authority
as I am doing maybe it will take some action.

Another shockingly bad excuse for a solicitors working along horizon parking and their scam parking scheme. I paid £2 for parking nearly 2 years ago and they claim i entered the wrong digit on their system when paying by cash which means i have no proof. Still wanting £170 for what Gladstones claim is time and resources Horizon have spent on the recovery of the fraudulent claim. I will see you in court with Horizon and bring your proof if you have any!
