Unhelpful and dismissive
Disappointed with the service. The communication was poor from start to finish. I was constantly chasing for updates. When they did manage to answer the phone, they were unhelpful and dismissive.
I wouldn’t recommend based on my experience. If you value clear communication and being treated with basic respect when something goes wrong, look elsewhere.

Absolute waste of time Fensa is not fit for purpose. Poor quality of windows and doors and horrendous installation by Eco Glazing Essex Ltd based on Canvey Island. Poor Communication and dismissive of Improper job done. Fensa is no help with compliance whatsoever The windows and doors I received were scratched, have gaps, poorly fitted window trickle vents and draughty, bad condensation even in a well insulated with good air circulation property, dangerous defects and improperly fitted. They would not respond to my emails, calls and queries. The Fensa Certificate they provide you states it is not evidence of compliance. I have thrown mine in the bin to be recycled. Fensa approved does not mean quality or compliance. Don't believe there fake response below. I have called them several times and its the same poor response, dismissive and unhelpful!

Worst Company
Poor Communication. Appalling customer treatment. Improper job done. These are things that characterise this company. My experience as a customer was nothing short from a disaster. The installation of double garage doors took over a year. The doors I received were scratched and improperly fitted. They would not respond to my emails, calls and queries. If you want quality service this company is not for you.

Adrian from the technical side really helped me out throughout the whole process. I won’t go into to much detail. But they really are there to help and support and knowing I have there support has really helped my business flourish and expand. What an absolute gentleman Adrian is 👍🏻

This is an updated review following one I left in July of this year. FENSA have since been in touch with me to try and resolve the issues I've had with my fitter. Adrian Jones in the technical department was very helpful but unfortunately the fitter I originally employed has refused to contact either myself or FENSA to rectify the problems caused by his poor fitting of my windows. He has now been removed from the FENSA scheme. Sadly, I'm unable to claim anything because he's still operating as a sole trader so I'm having to pay again to have the remedial work done and to have building control sign the work off and issue me with a certificate.

No support for consumers
I have been trying to resolve the issues with my windows for almost a year now since they failed a FENSA inspection. They have consistently tried to support the installer and done nothing at all to help me, the consumer. They're now telling me they don't believe the windows should have failed the inspection...which they did twice! I'm wondering who I complain about FENSA to? There appears to be no support for consumers when their registered fitters don't comply with their own regulations. Dreadful!

Brilliant service
We had a new window installed by Anglian. A few months later, we noticed that bricks above the window had started to slip downwards and that the internal masonry was also damaged. We informed Anglian, and after investigating, they said a lintel - which is a support beam - needed to be put in above the window. A month later, Anglian then phoned to say that what happened wasn't really their fault, because the house was defective in not having a lintel; they said we would have to pay £1,400 to have the lintel put in. They also said that they weren't really builders. We weren't sure what to do, so we contacted FENSA to ask their advice about what kind of tradesperson we required for the job. Someone called Taiwo contacted us to say that it was Anglian’s fault that they hadn't ensured there was adequate support prior to installing the window; and so, Anglian held full responsibility for carrying out the remedial work. Taiwo said we should inform Anglian that this was what FENSA had said. After telling Anglian this, they said that they would carry out the work for £550, in the interest of being reasonable. We told FENSA what Anglian had said, and Taiwo got back to us to reiterate that it was Anglian’s sole responsibility for rectifying the installation. On Taiwo's advice, we threatened to escalate the matter with FENSA if Anglian didn't take full responsibility. After this, they agreed to carry out the remedial work at their own expense. We can't thank Taiwo enough for all the help. This has saved us a lot of time, money and worry.

We had a major issue with a Fensa approved installer who's product was amateur to be polite. when visiting Fensa to make a complaint 1. the website pushes you to Trading Standards office (basically diverting responsibility), and then it is impossible to find an email to email our complaint to.
Basically Fensa is a membership club that promotes companies but takes NO responsibility when things go wrong, a racateering body!
