As many others before me have suggested, I would definitely recommend checking quotes to see if this company is listed as the insurers before accepting. Whether you accept the quote is of course your choice but (at the time of writing) 45% five stars vs 46% one stars should tell you something.
The status of the company I was making a claim for is listed on a Google search as voluntary liquidation, the owner had died, a liquidator has been appointed and the showroom is empty, which you’d think would be enough but as the formal process of completing the listing with Companies House had not been completed this was enough to decline the claim.
As many others have already pointed out Installsure will use absolutely anything to decline a claim.

I was very anxious about dealing with installsure not for any particular reason other than I find dealing with insurance companies difficult by nature. I dealt with an advisor called Becks and she guided me all the way through the process. From start to finish she was fantastic. It was so easy to do when you have an advisor who was so patient. Thank you installsure for having such amazing staff.

Becks was outstanding from when she became involved with my claim. Good clear communication and a real pleasure to deal with as the process progressed. My only slight issue with the process is that it took a while to lodge the claim due to the need for specific particulars of information, including data from a retired bank account to prove method of payment. This meant the roof damage gradually got worse over time and so risks quoted becoming obsolete. But I’m glad Becks became my conduit and was super efficient throughout.
