We had such a lovely experience purchasing our sofa, and that was largely thanks to Lee Jackson. From the moment we walked in, Lee was warm, friendly, and incredibly polite. We were not chased around the store, we where given time to look around ourselves and given as much time as we needed.

Lee struck the perfect balance between being knowledgeable, professional and informative as well as giving us space to decide and ensured all the finer details where correct, which we really appreciated. It was also so nice to have a laugh with him along the way — his approachable nature and great sense of humour made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. His warm personality is a great addition to the service provided and really leaves an imprint on our experience.

We’d also like to thank the manager for kindly sorting a deal out for us. It was very much appreciated and made us feel valued as customers.

Overall, the service we received was excellent from start to finish. We’re absolutely delighted with our sofa and very grateful for all the help and support. We cant wait for it to arrive. Thank you again Lee!

Staff were very welcoming and helpful, went out there way to help us come to a decision on the colour we wanted by taking us on a tour, we knew the type of 3 piece sweet we wanted but unsure of colour

Went in to store today.
Was approached by salesman Earl on arrival. He was extremely helpful. He helped me find the sofa that I wanted. Was very knowledgeable and provided and excellent service.

Dennis was very helpful, informative & polite.

The time we spent with Lee was really relaxing and he was really informative regarding what we were looking for.

Was greeted on entry to the store. Very pleasant and informative interaction. Then left to browse stock. When we had equalisation the re was no issue and we recieved very informed answers. The staff were all happy and engaged with us in a really welcoming friendly manner.
We got an easy to understand breakdown of prices. Made our purchase and felt very happy that we got a good deal.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Firstly we were left to browse the store without being “pounced on” as soon as we walked in. As soon as we decided on the sofa we were interested in the manager brought a fantastic sales person to us who knew absolutely everything we needed to know about it and the tech that came with it. Truly friendly and professional staff all round. Thank you for your amazing customer service.

Pamela was excellent in negotiating us through the whole buying experience. Telling us all about the extra add ins we could purchase etc. would highly recommend Pamela and she makes a wonderful cup of tea. Bought the sofas etc today with Pamela’s help.

Leigh was a great salesman; he explained everything and took his time until we came up with a decision.

Staff member Dennis made the experience of buying and choosing a sofa easy and fairly stress free. He was very knowledgeable about various ranges of sofas: very honest: friendly, personable and didn't make us feel pressured to buy anything. We had to return 3x before we made a decision but every time Dennis was fab! He deserves recognition from DFS for being an excellent all round staff member!!

Great service! Our sale assistant had the best customer care, really appreciated how she looked after us 😊 our armchair is so comfy and looks good, well worth the price!

Really bad experience all over.
First we visited store to enquire the bed we wanted to purchase as needed more info about it; store staff literally read out the info from online and couldn’t answer any of our questions.
We then risked it and bought the bed online.
On the delivery day driver just turned up without the call even so the order confirmation email advised that we will receive a call 30min before the delivery.
When bed was unpacked all the packages were just scattered all over our driver.
Drivers then walked all over our brand new carpets with their shoes on. When they were putting the bed together I noticed several dints and scratches on the frame. It took them ages to read the instructions to put the bed together. Plastic slat clip was broken in the process of assembly. Then it was discovered that there are holes missing in the frame for the slat clips, and bed was deemed as faulty so they had to take it apart and leave. More mess was left on my carpets. Walls were scratched where headboard was put to lean on.
Issue with faulty bed was reported straight away and I haven’t heard back from DFS how they are going to resolve this.
I have opened the case on DFS website and only communication received so far is email acknowledging receipt of the complaint.
It’s been almost a week and still no sign of refund….
Disappointing and frustrating!!!!

I went into dfs with a sofa in mind. Dealt with a lovely gentleman called Dennis, he not only showed me the sofa in mind but also alternatives, he talked me through my wants and needs and I ended up purchasing a different sofa entirely but it is so much better than the one I wanted. He was patient, not pushy one bit and really took his time with me. Such a lovely experience. I had my 11 year old son with me and was worried he would be bored. He absolutely loved the place 😂
