Best health plan I've ever had. Everything I needed is $0. I had 2 doctor's appointments, a dentist and all my refills in 1 months. They had a nurse check on me weekly to observe the new rx. I have diabetes, high blood pressure and dental issues. It was nice to get my sensors free! I use my food card even at the senior center

I have to say I have not had the problems other have I have been with them 2 months and they have been working over and beyond to fix it. I had united before I fired them 2 weeks in . I finally decided only Aetna or Humana will I go with and then Devoted came up in Colorado I have not had to call and check on a doctor because they are on it or med's they are on it. I do have to say I really don't like CVS pharmacy sorry so I get better service with Walmart. I'm a Walmart+ member and I just love them all I have allergies and they called me before filling prescription and it saved me from getting wrong medicine. I get meds mailed makes it worth it for me now the FedEx is going away. But they offer delivery with membership so I'll see how it goes work the rough edges. Give them a try wonderful people for me worth every cent and then some.

Every major Medicare Advantage company has poor reviews. Humana, United, Aetna, Anthem, Devoted. Doesn't matter the reviews are poor. Insurance is complicated. Mistakes are made. people take to many medications because they don't take care of themselves.

I went with this company last month because they gave me a $50.00 healthy benefit card and they had a high rating with Medicare. I wish I would have read the reviews. I used the card once for $5.00. I tried to use it again at Walmart and it was declined. I called Devoted to find out why and they told me they no longer have this benefit. Keep in mind I have been with company for a month. No written notice or any online notice. I
am also being charge a copay of $24.00 for a Dr.s visit that is listed as $10.00 in my policy. It's clearly false advertising to get people to enroll. I am leaving Devoted has fast as I can.

I have just switched from my old carrier to Devoted and have nothing but great things to say.Every problem i have had they went above and beyond to fix for me.The benefits were soo much better than my previous insurance.

I thought I hit the jackpot pot with the Devoted Health care plan . I don’t remember who told me they said if it sounds too good. It probably is too good. it was great. I was getting $150 every three months for CVS and $7500 towards dental except for a cap and implants. I thought I really hit it well with that in case I had problems with my teeth now to find out for 2025 they’re taking out all away. I canceled my VA Delta dental extra plan( VADIP ), thinking I was set . And with VADIP , they do very little the first year except for cleanings and x-rays so I did my full year getting ready to use it and cancel that. What a huge mistake now I have to call them and start all over Devoted dental thank you for nothing. This happened when I was sitting in the movie theater, the other day, realizing I paid all that money with VDIP thinking I wouldn’t need it again. Please do not go with this Advantage Medicare plan. Plus, my good friend told me everything’s gone down with that plan too. Thanks for nothing Devoted Helthcare.

I started out with Devoted initially happy, once everyone figured out who they were. Since I've been with them, my thoughts have changed. They micro manage my doctor at a ridiculous level! Their case workers expressed their "concerns" about my doctor on several occasions because he wasn't doing unnecessary tests and referrals. It started with a letter, that came on their letter head and another contractor, that was asking for an explanation on a fall that I had a few months prior. They were asking for information for who was responsible for my injuries because, basically, they wanted to be reimbursed for the bills. So, I filled it out for them. Responsible party: Bailey, the dog. Insurance: I don't think dogs carry some type of insurance for being tripped over. Let me know, but she's a free-loading, unemployed mooch, so good luck. Then, I received a random package in the mail that contained a urine sample cup and a letter that stated that they were trying to improve my health by adding urine testing, by a third-party, to help with preventing diseases. I'm sorry....my doctor did not request this, he manages my help very well, and I'm not mailing off a urine sample because my INSURANCE company wants it. Then, they call and send a text, several weeks later, "Oh, hey! You've got a package coming for a urine sample!" The nail in the coffin for them, cutting dental and vision benefits for 2025. Instead of having the "normal" benefits, they have decided to offer only a yearly, $500 debit card that you get to split between your vision and dental needs. Great. We'll provide you with groceries but sorry if you can't actually eat or see what you're eating because they're dropping benefits. I thought dental and vision care was a big deal for diabetics? I'm out and, from what I heard, am not the only one.

Problem with grocery cards
MY wife and I have Devoted health plan as a medicare advantage plan. They give a $50/month/person benefit to buy healthy food groceries.
This benefit is administered by " healthy benefit + " entity and as I understand they are separate entity from Devoted. This company issues benefit card like a credit card with bar code.
we have experience so much trouble using this card and from checkout lane we have to call them to help.
On Tuesdai 11-12-24 we called them to replace lost cards and since it takes two to three weeks to get cards and we do no have enough time to use them since the benefit amount expire at month end to send bar codes which " healthy benefit " agent did.
when we went to use it at grogery check out they did not work. So we called Devoted and after switchin to several agents they did not work, All this took two hours at at Kroger store 0n Wed. 11-13-24. They could not resolve problem and we came back home without groceries, " healthy benefit+ " have not given us any time frame to resolsve,
Exteremely humiliating and frustrating.

I've had three different Advantage Plans now and this is the worst. I know we're on a very slippery slope leading to yet more privatization and fraud. Until we have the numbers to fight for single payer for all, access and quality will continue to decline. These dudes are Blackstone. Run fast and far.

HMO isn't worth it. Few doctors and dentist will take this insurance. Referrals are given but the places you are referred to are booked out 6 months or they will call you. I've been waiting for that call since July 12th. The 800 number may give you doctors names and even make appointments for you but the doctors aren't covered by the billing department. And don't expect to get your teeth cleaned by a dental higenist. They are not covered.

I put a review on the Devoted website. Because I don't see it, I'm posting again:

I was a little leery about changing to an Advantage Plan after having UHC. I had excellent coverage and great CS with UHC. However, every year from my retirement date. the premium increased. I was advised that there was no cap and it would continue to increase. The year I left; my monthly premium was slated to exceed $300+ by the end of the year. This was only for medical coverage.

My broker and I reviewed several plans to meet my medical needs. They suggested I try Devoted. If I was unhappy after 6 months; I could go back to UHC or select a different plan. Before giving my ok, I wanted to read customer reviews.

Devoted, was a new name in the insurance industry for me. Based on reviews, I had concerns about excessive co-pays, out-of-pocket expenses; denied services and lack of quality customer service. After further research, I decided to give them a try. I am a year in and can only recall one (1) occurrence where I needed to escalate a call. When I spoke to a supervisor, the situation was resolved. I found that the CSR I spoke to was relatively new and needed additional coaching. Outside of that, I've been pleasantly surprised, again, based on negative reviews.

I paid almost twice as much in premiums with my previously plan than I have in out-of-pocket expenses with Devoted. So far, I'm happy with them. They have a list of in/out of network providers and most services.

I also appreciated the other perks for groceries and CVS (although I am not fan of theirs) I would prefer having an option to go to any certificated pharmacy.

I hope the bottom doesn't drop out and I continue to get the type of service and coverage I have over this past year.

Poorly trained employees repeatedly give incorrect information when asked about benefits and drug coverage. Benefits promised in the policy actually have so many loopholes that they are nothing but advertising hype, as there always seems to be a reason for denying access to them.

A few days after having open heart surgery for a quadruple bypass, a supervisor became impatient because I wasn't able to quickly get up and walk to the nurses' station to get a pencil.

Devoted only to their stockholders and their bottom line profits, not their customers' health, this is a company to avoid at all costs.

The OTC online ordering from CVS is impossible. I tried again to get on it today 8/17/2024 and can't order online. Why don't I get this?? I entered several times using my online account and then tried thru my member ID. Nothing, why is this not working?? What's the use of having this as a benefit when I can't order online??? Please Devoted, you need to find out what's wrong with this benefit or get another partner for your customers.

I thought I was going with a good reliable company. I made sure I covered all of my doctors, medications and even hospital. My representative did not do his job. I fell and had to go to the hospital and to find out the hospital was not covered by this insurance. My sales rep did not do his job. I do not recommend this company for your healthcare needs.

Devoted is the worst coverage you can get. I urge anyone who is contemplating, don't, move on to other coverage. I just got out of the hospital, by myself, & still waiting for help with a walker, chair for shower, etc. They told me it will take two wks to get it approved, then put in the order. They absolutely don't care for seniors, for that matter anyone. When I explained that I need to change my coverage, they told me to do what I need to do. Thank God I'm not dying! They would help put me in my grave!! Everyone, there is better coverage out there!

I just enrolled but i think after seeing the reviews i was wondering if its to late to opt out . I just electronically signed enrollment today.
I thought the agent was with medicare.gov.

I have had one complaint after another with Devoted. The last event occurred on June 5, 2024 when I had an annual eye exam scheduled with one of their providers. Because I absolutely do NOT trust Devoted, I called before the exam to ask a representative if the exam was fully covered. She assured me several times that it was. I looked in my benefit catalog and it is covered. I looked online under Devoted and it is covered. I had the exam and now Devoted is denying the claim stating they require a part of the exam to be done by an Opthalmologist rather than the Optometrist. When I called and asked their representative where is this requirement written, she couldn't find any evidence of this requirement anywhere in their policy documents, benefit statements, ANYWHERE. It seems we're meant to guess at what our benefits our since I could not have exercised any more due diligence than I did. Now I have an unexpected bill. This is not the first time I've been broadsided in this way.

I just started on Devoted this year (Medicare) and I gotta say, NOT impressed that my dentist told me at my teeth cleaning appt that you won't cover flouride treatment. REALLY? It's only $45 and a PREVENTATIVE measure so you don't have to shell out big bucks later. I will see how my doctor visits go but at this point, I will probably switch at the next open enrollment.

Please don't go with this company the customer service is bad they act like when u got a question that they don't want to help u umm and for some of there service theyie to try to get u to switch to them will never go back to this company

So Decorated Veterans On a Fixed Income only get $35 a month. Thanks for That. If You can't afford the copay for help. What good is Insurance. Us Veterans gave up on the VA hospital. 1973.
