We went to look at an Audi. And from the outset the service was outstanding. Ash and Justin could not have done more for us. Our multiple visits , my finicky ways were all handled professionally with courtesy and understanding. We got the car we wanted, to more of a standard we could gave expected, absolutely super. It was our first purchase from DACE , but I can say for certain it may not be our last. Quality cars, outstanding service and professionalism and cracking pricing to. A good job, well done. Recently brought a BMW X1 from Dace.

Paul was brilliant from start to finish. He pulled out all the stops to get the car ready. He kept me updated throughout the whole process. Customer service was spot on.

Excellent service from Ash Singh on my recent purchase of a BMW iX3. Paperwork and process was straightforward and some small marks on the tyre rims were made good with trims that looked like new! Ash was very helpful in arranging collection and taking my car as a part ex.

Great to deal with from start to finish, I genuinely have nothing negative to add.
The most impressive thing I experienced was even before I had decided if I was going to look at a car, never mind buy one, I was given advice & a solution to an issue I had. I can assure you it was only a benefit to me & no gain to Dace.

Great staff who are polite and listen. Nice relaxed atmosphere. We didn’t book in or inquire about the car we were interested in, we just showed up. But this wasn’t a problem and we were treated politely and the car was brought from there other depot without any fuss. We had a part ex to trade and a deal was reached with good respect from all parties. I would recommend Dace motor company for anyone who is looking for a good quality car.

From calling up in the morning and booking an appointment, to taking the car home same day, Steve was the best and really looked after us, there was no pressure and he offered some good advice. The whole sale was smooth and stress free, I definitely recommend going to Dace for your car!

I recently spotted a Mini Electric advertised by Dace at a good price and spoke with Callum, who initially came across as helpful. I placed a £100 deposit to secure the vehicle and waited for it to arrive at the showroom so a video walkaround could be sent.

A few days later, I received the video. In it, Callum mentioned that a few chips on the driver's side would be painted or blended in, and the rest of the car was shown as being in good condition. There was no mention whatsoever of any other damage.

We were told the car would be serviced, painted, and ready for a test drive. So we arranged time off work and travelled from Bolton to Stockport. However, on arrival, we immediately noticed three significant chips and a dent on the passenger side – none of which had been disclosed in the video or during our earlier discussions.

When we raised this with the salesman, he acknowledged the damage and checked with his manager, but nothing could be done. We asked if there was any flexibility on price given the condition, but again were told no. No alternatives were offered and no effort was made to resolve the issue.

This was a completely wasted day — time off work and a round trip for a car that was not as described. The lack of transparency and unwillingness to take responsibility was extremely disappointing. It felt like the damage was either deliberately downplayed or entirely ignored until we got there.

Given their strong online reviews, I expected a much better experience. Sadly, it felt like a "take it or leave it" attitude, and they simply didn’t care once we were in the showroom.

Update to reply from Dace 30/06/2025:

1. Comments not unfair just because you disagree with them.
2. No problem with the vehicle at all, just the fact that the 3 significant stone chips and dent with scratch on the passenger side were not mentioned until we arrived to view the car.
3. If this damage would have been mentioned on the walk round video we would have been able to consider and would have probably still bought it.
4. We were very motivated to buy as we had travelled from Bolton to Stockport to view but when we arrived there was damage that we were totally unaware of.
4. As we were unaware of the damage until viewing in person, we asked if there was anything that you could do and it was made clear that it was taken it or leave it, so we left it....
5. In future point out all damage especially if people are travelling to see a car.
5. Your reply and attitude tells me your not really bothered. It wouldn't have taken much for us to agree to buying the car.
6. Bought a different car from another dealer and we are now very happy we did not buy from Dace.
7. Was not contacted by Dace to discuss the 1 star review just had the poor reply on Trust Pilot trying to cover there tracks and make it look like the customer was being unreasonable....

From the very start of enquiring I found Steve to be professional, relaxed and very approachable with all the questions asked. He made the whole experience smooth, efficient and went out of his way to explain everything in detail all with a friendly manner. I would highly recommend Dace to anyone looking for a good car, they are brilliant!!

Steve the sales guy was excellent. No pressure, very knowledgable and thorough with all explanations along the way. Would highly recommend for sure. Thanks personally to Steve and to Dace as a professional organisation with a friendly service.
