IWarranty they won't honor
I have been trying to get them to honor the warranty on my tv ( 5 months old) since June 2023. The tv is not working. Every time I call in they want some different info. This last time they said the video I sent in was not clear. When I said that everyone said it was clear they then said that they couldn't open it ???? really. !!! The video they want is of the tv not working!!!! What a crock of crap this co. is. They are making up 1 excuse after another just so they don't have to honor the warranty

Ice Maker : Frigidaire has Curtis International as a service contract and it is horrible. They are just thieves from Canada. The website was unable to load as it was faulty, my antivirus blocked it. used phone calls and emails NO response. Sent is all requested and no response. Bought via Costco and they will honor the warranty refund.DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM FRIGIDAIRE. Filed an FTC complaint as this is fraud.

I got a nugget ice maker had for about 30 days quit making ice call company to get a replacement did everything they asked with pictures and so on refused to do anything because I didn’t have original receipt paid over 300 dollars for 30 days and customer service sucked. Stay far away from there products complete junk they didn’t seem to care at all I will continue to write reviews on this company so irritated with them and there product
I purchased a countertop nugget ice…
I purchased a countertop nugget ice maker in December of 2022 from Lowe's and by June of 2023 this item, which in total was $402.00, stopped working, when it was plugged in it made horrific noises and stopped producing ice. I filed a claim, it took them 2 weeks to respond, the email did not come from any type of warranty just support. After 10 days they closed the case, I reached out to them to get it reopened and provided all of the information to them. I call them at least once a week and each time I am told it will be reopened within 24 hours and escalated. Then I am told I will receive a call back, which never happens. I feel like this company does not stand behind their products. I am very angry and am looking to find advice from anyone on how to get this resolved. I will never purchase another item that it manufactured or represented by this company.

I’m surprised there’s even an option to leave one star… If I could leave zero stars, that would be a better option… Bought a freezer from BJs and got it home to find out that it was damaged… It was leaking, had some very faint dents on the front and had a dent on the bottom left side. Also, freezing is frosting a lot in the inside…when I called Frigidaire they referred me to Curtis International because they bought the rights to manufacture and service their appliances. They told me to answer my email and submit photos/videos of the item and now they are telling me it seems like shipping issue and that is not included in the warranty!!! Un-F***ing believable!!! It was on clearance and with tax and everything got it for $184 and change and now I’m looking online for the same one and cheapest is $330 plus tax which will be close to $400… Not only that, but I spoke to someone that said that they would escalate the issue and get an answer from a higher team and clearly she did not know what the hell she was doing because she gave me the wrong information and was probably just telling me that she was going to escalate case just to make me happy but not really do anything for me in the end. They didn’t even have someone come out to look at to see if there was a way to fix it instead of returning it. I will never buy another product from them or anyone associated with them because of their amazing customer service! Good job! Go pat yourselves on the back for that one!!!

Purchased a Fridgedaire counter top ice maker in July 2022. In May 2023 ice maker started making noises and stopped making ice. We purchased extended warranty on this unit, but it stopped working in the 12 month factory warranty time frame. Contacted Curtis International, they asked questions and gave us a case number. Had to take several pictures of receipt, front , back, seril and model numbers. Explain on their form what the problem is, what it's not doing. Sent it all in and waited. Finally got a response back to send unit back to them. All return shipping charges will be my responsibility. This unit weighs close to 40lbs. They will not reimburse any shipping charges. Once received, they will check unit for damages or repairs necessary, no guarantee on repairs or replacement or refund. I'm not spending more of our money on this piece of crap , they should cover all cost for this machine. Will never buy anything with the Curtis International name on it again. Will warn family,friends and strangers not to buy. This is not the only post I have seen about their ice machines. Good luck to any one buying their products.

Terrible company that does not honor their own warranty. I purchased a 50 inch rca tv that arrived with dead pixels and after going and back and forth with them to get it resolved they eventually agreed that the tv was covered under the warranty. Unfortunately they are now refusing to move forward with my warranty claim.

Absolutely the worst company to deal with. DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS THAT ARE PRODUCED BY THIS COMPANY! (Frigidaire uses them for their smaller appliances!)
Back story - I recieved a baby pink frigidaire stand mixer for my birthday, to match my kitchen ware and baking supplies, was the only reason this unit was purchased. Upon using it, it had a glitch that it took me tapping it to make it actually start. I was within the warranty period so I reached out to Frigidaire who informed me to contact Curtis International as they were the ones who technically produced the unit and would need to handle the claim.
I called in and the rep said they would create a ticket and everything would be handled by email. I was given a claim number and advised to do a "field destroy" and send pics of everything properly completed.
I followed the instructions and was advised a cheque or replacement unit would be sent in 4 - 6 weeks. I sent a response back requesting that if the proper color could not be sent to please send the cheque as it was the only reason the unit was purchased.
Fast forward to 2- 3 weeks later, a black unit is delivered. I call in and am advised that they don't deal with concerns on the phone and to bring up my concerns via the original email.
I respond via the email and am told they are following "warranty policies". When i point out that a cheque was obviously part of their "warranty policies" as it was mentioned on every email as a possibility, I was ignored and basically got the same responses and dodges.
I requested to speak to a manager and a return label for the wrong unit and was ignored again and basically told they were closing the ticket and they reserved the right to do w.e they wanted with regards to the warranty.
I have requested again to speak to some sort of upper management and have even provided a number to be contacted.
Horrible horrible customer service.

I too would give a zero. Nothing has been done. Same as the others and spent the same to send to a warehouse in Ca for an icemaker I haven't owned for more than 7 months. Did everything including all the ridiculous pictures of a perfectly looking outside machine and no video you can take of a nonworking machine. Escalated and nothing happens. I do NOT expect to see my machine again. Small claims international court and maybe the media for better business bureau. Horrible company that doesn't care about customer service
I setup the RCA tv right out of the box and the screen has a lot of green and purple lines so it's obviously defective, I contacted Curtis International to see about getting warranty service, this company doesn't want to warranty anything and they will fight you tooth and nail to get you to give up. I tried following their instructions and sent them various pictures 3 times and a total of 12 photos and they claim that the pictures are illegible, this is a bad business practice. I sent them the model and serial number and my receipt which is all valid and Curtis International still keeps making up excuses not to do the warranty claim. If you buy an RCA tv don't expect any help from this horrid company.
