NO stars Worst Company to deal with!!

The reviews here are correct. This is the worst company to deal with. They will not get back to you even though they tell you you only have a specific time to get back to them when you get back to them and you do it within the timeframe with all of the info pictures and all of the proof that they request -they do not do anything- there is no recourse. I have done it twice already. I had a warranty on the refrigerator for 180 days from April 14th 2024.
They don’t care they’re not gonna send a replacement and I will keep disputing this with my credit card for the next year because this is the way it has become apparent to me that we don’t live in the 50s 60s or 70s anymore when things were made of high-quality and companies would stand behind their products Frigidaire products are crap and dealing with the company to try to get any recourse or another refrigerator is next to impossible. No, I’m sorry it is impossible, and I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau . I went by proper protocol and I went by the 180 day warranty information in my warranty and this did not help me at all still waiting for somebody to get back to me after I sent them everything they needed!!

No stars will be more appropriate for this crap of a company. I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator 7 months ago. Frigidaire referred me to Curtis International. I have had nothing but trouble trying to get them to work with me on either repairs or replaced the refrigerator. I finally got a emailing saying they will either send a new refrigerator or check if I field destroy the defective refrigerator and take pictures. Which I have done. Still waiting for them to contact me. I have also requested damages for loss in spoiled food and disposal fee. But I get told that they can't that. Well obviously that can't take care of the customers and help them get the refrigerator repaired or replaced in the first place. This has been going on for over a month. Still waiting to hear back from them. I call and email. Still I get nothing back from Curtis International.

DO NOT BUY A FRIGIDARE ICE MAKER! YOU WILL DEAL WITH THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN HISTORY! I PAID MY OWN MONEY TO SEND IT IN FOR WARRANTY CLAIM! NO FOLLOW UP ON EMAILS OR RECEIPT OF PRODUCT! STOPPED MAKING ICE, LEAKING, NOTHING! THE ABSOLUTE WORST! My poor husband bought this for me as a birthday gift and he just feels terrible!

If I could give a negative review I would. We received an icemaker as a gift for the holidays from this manufacturer and it only worked once and now doesn't function. We contacted support and after almost a month with no response to the support email, I called because this product should be within warranty we explained that we don't have a receipt because this was a gift they said basically your SOL. Even though this product is a representation of their company and we have provided the serial number, pictures and videos they are not willing to take any accountability to make the situation right.
Horrible customer service, don't buy your loved ones gifts from this company.

Stay AWAY from this company! After reading all the bad reviews I can concur that they are a very shady company that does NOT stand behind their products or mistakes. After getting an ice maker for my wedding, we opened it to on find that the basket for the one was not in the sealed box. So I called the manufacture to have it sent. First they were nice but they took a long response time. Then said they needed photos of the serial number on machine. Did it. Obviously in also looking at the machine you can see it’s new and never been used. Then get a message after they said that’s all I mad that they want a receipt. It’sa gift. Unopened box. Missing part that was their fault. They refused unless I paid 38.00 because they said they needed to make sure it was under manufacturers warranty. Whole different new story. They still refused to fix the mistake and I am gladly doing app reviews to let people know that there’sa reason it has 1 star here and on BBB. They are a scam.

Big disappointment in product

My husband and I bought a Frigidaire ice maker that is incredibly loud and leaks after 4 months. After a lot of back and forth the company agreed to look at the ice maker if we send it back. This shipment was over $100 the ice maker only cost $260. The product is terrible and the customer service is worse.

Very bad customer service.

In my years of experience dealing with companies and guarantees, the Curtis company is the very worst ever.

They failed to make good guarantees for reasonable months from March to May.

They repeatedly ask for the same product guarantee information sent to them multiple times including videos etc. I noticed their antics to focus on frustrating customers into giving up.

Initiated guarantee issue started from March 11, 2024 and till May 28, it was never ever resolved.

A lot of reviews I read and BBB proved this company to be problematic.

At a point, I was forced to return the order product the seller to have peace of mind. I hope never ever to have anything whatsoever to do with this company.

Avoid at all cost buying from this…

Avoid at all cost buying from this company. I purchased a brand new record player from a Pharmaprix made by Curtis. It was defective upon receipt, going through the Curtis warranty process they kept telling me someone would get back to me. After months I finally received an email claiming the Pharmaprix a national chain was not an authorized dealer, so they would not honor their warranty.

Buyer be ware don't get any product from this company not worth the stress

If I could rate them a 0 then I would, horrible customer service I purchased a ice maker from target and it stop working after 3 months, the product comes with a 1 year warranty and I also purchased a 2 year warranty from target.

Unfortunately I have to use the manufacturer warranty first since it's still covered under the warranty so I put my claim in it's almost been a month since i started this process so we are in the stage of shipping the product back to them.

They want me to ship the product to them so they can do further investigations on the product but here is the kicker they want me to pay to ship it back to them why am I paying to ship a product back to a company where I'm still covered under warranty which should cover all of that I should not have to pay to should it back to them.

Horrible customer service

First of all, it takes weeks to resolve any kind of issue with this company. Numerous emails back-and-forth to Curtis International with repeated evidence of malfunctioned product, and now they want me to return a Frigidaire countertop icemaker at MY expense. It weighs 21.4 pounds, which would be somewhere between $20 and $30 to ship! There should be a place I could return the item to, or they should send a prepaid shipping label. Horrible product. Stopped working after 7 months. Horrible company. Ridiculous requirements and customer service. Do not buy a Frigidaire countertop icemaker! I will be blasting this on every social media site available as well as Walmart and BBB if I don’t get this resolved to my satisfaction.

Frigidaire/Curtis International/Electrolux Home - No!

I bought a Frigidaire table top ice maker. It stopped working after 3 months use. I had several go arounds with the customer service people sending pictures, receipts, serial numbers, etc. Finally after 3 weeks I get the final reply that they won't honor the warranty because I did not buy it from an authorized distributor.

Really? How is one to know which retailer is authorized and who isn't? And, the issue is with the product itself that Curtis International manufactures under license from Electrolux Home. Stay away from both companies, unless you're feeling lucky.

For starters I had to give one star to…

For starters I had to give one star to even write a review, otherwise I would have not given them any stars. I bought Thomas compact fridge for my daughter for college. When opening and setting this unit up we noticed that both front legs are missing as well as the leg to support the door while open. I called the store where I bought it from, they told me to bring it back and they would replace it, or I could call the company and they would replace the missing legs under warrenty. I decided to call the company to have them replaced as my daughter was 6 hours from home where I bought the unit, meaning I would have to make a 12 hour trip just to return. When I contacted the company they asked me for my information and the serial number my proof of purchase and warrenty proof of purchase. I sent clear pictures and all my info. About a week or two past and I got a email asking for another picture of the serial number. I sent it again. About two days went bye and I got another email asking me for pictures of the legs I was missing. How do u take pictures of something u don’t have l. They emailed me back and asked me to send a example picture. So I went on their website to parts and did so. Next email was asking for a picture of the unit where the parts were missing. Did that. Next email was asking for my info as they never received it. Next four emails was asking for my info as they never received it after I already spoken to someone on the phone who said they had it. So about 3 months go bye and I’m furious at this point so I email them and ask them what the issue is why I can’t get my parts they tell me they closed my case because I never emailed them the proper stuff l. So the lady tells me to send it all back and she will reopen my case. I do just that. I get a email asking for a picture of the missing part? I email back and ask them what part of I do not have no legs for this unit do u not understand. I get a email back that says if u used the peg that was meant for the door under the fridge where the legs go it won’t work or if I used the leveling legs on the door it will scrap the floor everytime u open the door. I think you have your legs backwards. What part of I did not receive any legs for the bottom of the door don’t u understand. It’s been almost six months. I paid almost $400 for a unit with a warrenty that’s no good because we can’t use without legs. I told them how horrible there company and customer service is and told them to close my case and I would go on and order parts from a third party company. I recommend no one buys anything from this place as all I’ve seen is nothing but bad reviews and ppl having the same issues over and over again. I am not pleased at all.

Curtis international

I bought an Frigidaire ice maker on February 20th 2023. In early October of 2023 the ice maker stopped producing ice altogether. I reached out to customer support, to report it. They wanted me ship the defective ice maker at my expense to them to proceed with the claim.( I discovered it would cost me half the price of the original cost to ship it to them.) I then called customer support to let them know I could not afford to ship the defective ice maker back to them. A few days later I received an email from them stating "they will cover the ice maker under the warranty, however they no longer receive back faulty items. In order for us to send you a replacement we require you to preform a field destroy." I had to cut the cord to the defective ice maker, then I had to write the claim number across the top of it. I had to peal the sticker with the identifying information off the back of it , & cut it up. After performing all these steps I had to upload pictures showing I completed all the required steps. I Immediately called them to verify they received all the required information for my replacement. The representative told me I would receive an email with a tracking number when the new ice maker shipped out.( I received the email with the tracking number.) A few weeks later the replacement arrived. The ice maker was not the same one I originally bought. The replacement was a different color & cost half the price of what I originally paid for. The replacement ice maker did not come with another year warranty. ( The original warranty carries over to the replacement. )I Immediately emailed them to ask them if I would receive a check for the remaining balance since the replacement was half the cost of the original. They responded by saying "We understand how important this is to you and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Please know that Curtis has the right to replace the unit for the same model or a different or equivalent model. In this case we sent you an equivalent model  because the EFIC117-SS is not available.

We will now consider this case closed and resolved."

My experience with Curtis International was horrible. I will never buy a product from this company again. If you see this review, I highly recommend saving yourself time & money by buying a different brand.

Absolutely awful company.

Absolutely awful company.. I bought an ice maker from them, lasted about 3 months. Paid over 300.00 for it. I don’t think it ever work completely right but do able. It just got worse and really worse.
Filed a warranty claim and took forever. Finally I ended up sucking it up and sent the 40 pound package back and cost me 135.00, that they will not pay me back for there broken machine. Worst company, no one speaks English. If you want to talk to a manager, they will call you back within 5 business days.
Just unbelievable. I will never buy anything from this company again. When all said and done, I paid out 500.00 on this damaged ice maker. Let’s see how long it takes to even get a refund or replacement back. No Stars for me.

Ice maker listed as a Frigidaire…

Ice maker listed as a Frigidaire stopped working in 2 months. I have been working with Curtis customer service for 3 weeks and have gotten no where. Each time I call I get the same response; “You will receive an email by the end of the day with your warranty information”. Do not buy their products as they do not support them

No Customer Service, Worthless Parts Dept

Bought a mini frig. and it was missisng the legs,"Leveling Legs". Reached out to them to get these legs. Had to send photo's of unit, photots of model number and photos of serial number along with the complete Transaction including all of my information...I did that..Then after about a week I recieve an email aking for more photos..I explained I just need the legs, they were missing 2 week have gone by still nothing. (Tried calling to speak to someone, nothing ) This Company has been a total disapointment.
