I ordered over a month ago. Order has not arrived, though I've had a couple of emails delaying the delivery date (the fact the company have made contact is the reason I've rated this 2 stars rather than 1). I'm reluctant to cancel, as I've had an email telling me I will be charged £25 if I cancel my order, but I'm reaching the point of no longer needing the order as I've ended up buying products elsewhere.

Good company to purchase chairs from... very pleased with the transaction

Catergorically stated the delivery address to customer services on delivery....yet they still delivered it to the wrong address on the other side of town. Response from customer service reads...
"Apologies this has been delivered to the incorrect address.
Unfortunately, now they are delivered we wouldn’t be able to get the supplier to collect these and redeliver these to another address."
Now we're stuck with trying to move furniture ourselves half way across town! That's poor.

AVOID! We purchased a bench and a childs playground car from this company. When we phoned we were told the item was in stock so we went ahead and paid over £3,000 for both items with the online delivery stating it would be by tomorrow. Just rang to be told that the items are still in production and no idea of when they will be ready. It's now left us with little time to find an alternative as we needed the items for a show next week. They didn't seem to care when I rang, just said to send email to cancel order. Thankfully paid via paypal so hoping to get money back.

A further email was received from this company saying the items would be delivered on Wednesday-Friday of the following week, no good to us at all as they were needed for a show we were attending from this Sunday to next Thursday and we had no access to bring items into the show after this Sunday. And because they say they will now deliver mid next week, Costcutters are refusing to cancel order and refusing refund. Please take care when dealing with this company as from all the other reviews, this is their style clearly, promising deliveries and saying items in stock when they are not!!!

Terrible customer service. I contacted them asking them to price match items I’d found cheaper and was told they couldn’t match them because “it is not good for our business” as I had found them too cheap! When I argued that they shouldn’t advertise a price match promise they would not fulfil they then tried to tell me it wasn’t the same item (which it obviously was with the same stock photo) and therefore couldn’t price match. A bunch of scammers! Pretty sure they can’t do this and out of principle plan to report them.

Ordered a desk for a fair amount of money, initial inconsistencies around the delivery timeframe. Eventually after 8 weeks, it arrived with no instructions and missing the key screws to put the desk together.

So from start to finish not a great level of service, the desk then is nowhere near the quality of the price paid and with difficulty after the initial problems to return it.

Over priced, moody staff, unpleasant but good range of products if you can afford to go there

Despite advising on website that picnic table in stock, only on chasing them did I find that on speaking with the manufacturer, it was not even in production yet, so of course there could be no delivery date. Have spoken to them to cancel but was informed that I must email them, which I have done, and they have read that email, but so far no cancellation as still listing on their website under my account as being shipped, which is not true as it has not even been made yet.

Have emailed a second time asking to cancel.

I see other review do not give a good acount of this company.

Poor service at my local branch crap staff

Ordered for next day delivery on 6 June and am still waiting for delivery. I don’t get any response to my enquiries.

Avoid ordering from these people as they lie regarding stock. I phoned to check stock before ordering a chair online, was assured stock was available and placed my order. Two weeks on I still have not recieved my order even though they still list the item online as in stock and available for next day delivery. I am currently trying to get a refund as I still have no chair and am currently £130.00 out of pocket, Avoid.
