Haven't used the lamp itself yet but got the lamp before midmorning after ordering at 1238 the day before : Fantastic!

The people at Care Lamps were excellent and their sales team sorted out a replacement lamp when the original lamp I purchased developed a fault.
The delivery was reasonably quick.but I think the Parcel Force communication could improve. I didn't know when the replacement lamp was being delivered until it turned up. Luckily I was at home.

Does the job (psoriasis) but slowly and I guess it will improve as we keep using it. Bear in mind we had the psoriasis for more than a year, therefore I'm not expecting miracles in a week. It removes the white flakes, then softens the red skin and slowly cures it. The problem is that the body reacts and produces more psoriasis in different spots, therefore you have to use a different curing time for them or else you will burn the skin. Protective glasses are good but since they are dark you can't see all the spots and you had to remove them so you have to be careful not to irritate your eyes. All in all, it's doing the job and we will keep using it because is better than any creams or medication we have used so far. We just have to be patient, that's all.

Bought the UVB lamp. Arrived as described. I paid for expedited delivery and received with 2-3 days from order. Lamp is easy to use. Being the old style spring desk lamp means its easily adjusted, but aside from the bulb (which are expensive to buy separately) the overall product doesn't seem worth £200 (I bought when in offer, otherwise would have hougbt twice). That said, I've been using it on a specific part of my psoriasis for 2 weeks now and have noticed its keeping flare ups down. Very dry skin and blotches still there but no itchiness and no flaking. Not as good as the Enstilar foam spray I'm using on other parts, but a worthy substitute and so far pleased with impact its had.

My psoriasis had stoped reacting to the dovobet creams prescribed by my doctor and had started to spread. Since starting to use the lamp some three weeks ago the spread has not only stoped but has actually receded.The rest of my psoriasis has calmed down and is now showing signs of healing. I can only say that I'm delighted with the results so far and intend to continue using it.

After trying the lamp for a month it unfortunately didn't work on my skin. It made a slight difference to the scaling but not enough to continue using it.
I have to say I would definitely recommend it with a 70% success rate i was unlucky! The lamp was bought for my wife who suffers with psoriasis on most parts of her body, she has been using the lamp for the last 3 weeks and there is a noticeable improvement and we feel the price we paid was worth every penny.
