I ordered a lamp with express delivery. It didn't arrive until at least a week later than it should have. Now it arrived and it doesn't work. No response from the company. Do not use!

Very poor customer service
I bought the Derma Red P600 device and paid £499.00 online. After that, I received no confirmation, no receipt, no information whatsoever. I found no telephone number on their websites. I left two emails to them. But no replies. It has been more than 3 days now. I think their customer service is very poor to say the least, and possibly fraud. I am going to withdraw my payment.

As we explained to you via email and on a voicemail we left for you, your order was shipped and the order confirmation and shipping details were emailed to you as with every order. The order was shipped before you took the time to write this review.
We suggested that they may have gone to your junk email and we have had no reply since so we assume this is what happened.
With regards the telephone number, it is available on the footer on every page on our website, on our trustpilot page, and our google business page.

Life Enhancing
I bought the lamp 3 months ago because I thought it might help with the symptoms of a thyroid problem. It has. I have a lot more energy than I did, am more flexible and suffer less aches and pains. It has significantly reduced my back pain in particular. It is a very good quality machine. I use it almost every morning after bathing and enjoy luxuriating in its lovely warm glow. I accompany my session with a YouTube video, usually the sound of waves lapping against a beach, to get that holiday vibe! I love it - it makes me feel so much better.

I will say this review is not fair as the fact you must pay Import VAT if you are ordering from outside of the UK is displayed prominently on every single product page as well as the shipping details page. We also have an option of sending the items with delivery duty pre paid (DDP) which is also advertised on every single product page.

Hi Janice, Thank you for writing a review.
You ordered the 'plug type: EURO' which was dispatched to you. I'm not sure where you read land mass as this phrase has never been used on our website. We appreciate mistakes can happen and we did offer you a £5 credit so you could source a lead locally rather than wait for international delivery and customs clearance. What we will do going forward is alter the description to show EURO 2 PIN or UK 3 PIN to avoid any future confusion.
We are sorry that DPD chose to drop the parcel over your gate rather than to your door. Thank you for sending the video of a parcel being dropped over your gate. We have asked on numerous occasions for photos of the damaged light so that we can make a claim with DPD for the damage. Without these then then we cannot make a claim on the insurance once this issue has been resolved. We have never denied any damage. For whatever reason you haven't sent us these. Can you please just send photos of the damaged unit so we can all move on?
We have also offered you a full refund and to pay for a courier collection for the return shipping. We have, on two separate emails, asked for dates that you would be available for the collection so we can get one booked. If you can please reply to any of the emails and provide us with suitable dates then we can move the process forward.

Angle poise UVB Lamp
The lamp is exactly what I needed. Only problem so far is if we try to change the angle poise, the light goes out. The bulb fitting is loose so we leave the lamp in the same position all the time. It's doing the job it was purchased for.

Easy to order and it works
Easy to order what I needed, with fast response to my query when the lamp was delayed due to postal service not the company itself. The uvb lamp works on my skin as well.

Bulb is a little temperamental but great when on.
I have only used the lamp for one week so cannot give an accurate review of results however it seems to have calmed my skin down. I struggled to get the lamp on initially so warmed it up as advised in the instructions, it does seem to be temperamental but when it stays on its great. Very fast efficient delivery too.

Lamp arrived promptly.
I am using it every day in line with suggested times. Hopefully it will improve my psoriasis in time as it is my last hope.The little sun we got here in Ireland did improve it a bit in the Summer but all the prescribed and not prescribe creams etc were no good.Because of Covid I could not get any sun in Spain or Portugal this year. That would have improved it too
Because of Brexit there was Irish VAT to be paid plus delivery charge awful nuisance since the UK left the EU as I used buy a lot from the UK but now no more.

Carelamps has been so far a very good company with very good customer service. My lamp had an issue, it would suddenly switch off the screen or the screen and lamp itself too, I contacted Carelamps and I got it picked up and replaced for a brand new lamp in very short time. So far so good, and they’ve given 3 years guarantee to this lamp too. Highly recommended.
