We used Ross Culley to source our mortgage. He was incredibly professional and saved us thousands compared to other mortgages brokers that we looked into. We were very happy with his service and prompt responses to all of our queries throughout the process.

Capricorn FC and my advisor - Tianna Ma - were both recommended to me by name when I asked my Estate agent to recommend an efficient financial service to support a house purchase. I had been quoted mortgage interest rates over 6% on a first look through available advisors, but thought I should be able to find something closer to 4% (Feb 2024). Tianna Ma was indeed super efficient, friendly and knowledgeable, and always there for me by email or phone. She gave great advice and got me low cost options with a formal mortgage offer secured very quickly. I then had a set-back, with a second source of funding that did not come through as expected while I was being pressured to exchange ahead of the agreed time. Tianna was really supportive, reassuring and gave excellent advice with multiple options provided and fully costed out within hours/days. So kind, calm and reassuring! Having bought a wonderful house at a great fixed mortgage rate, I can't thank Tianna and Capricorn enough for helping me get there, and can highly recommend their services.

Britanny was very helpful from the start throughout the end of the Mortgage process. She was quite accessible and easy to contact - which was a major plus. Would work with Capricorn again in the future for sure.

I had a very good experience working with Krishan Beri whose service and advice was professional and spot-on. I felt he was a good listener, understood our requirements, our level of financial understanding and curtailed his advice accordingly. He demonstrated a lot of patience by being happy to run through multiple scenarios when needed and also staying put through the sheer length of our purchase process where we kept juggling between a simple purchase or LTB option.

Only feedback I'd like to pass is how they flow information to other parts of the business (e.g. for home insurance) for selling other products. I felt I had to re-provide the whole context/information again, which with my consent, would have been happier for them to share rather than e.g.g spend 30 mins additional fact-finding. Maybe GDPR/compliance.

Could not recommend this firm more highly. Our advisor Karim Harrak has been extremely knowledgable and attentive to us throughout our application for a joint-borrower sole-proprietor (JBSP) mortgage. Having agreed to a lending rate in the initial stages of our property purchase, Karim re-fixed multiple times for us whenever he saw a better rate become available - the service has paid for itself multiple times over.

This is the most incompetent company I have come across with a litany of basic errors that gave me massive stress and financial cost. Avoid at all costs

Had a really positive experience with mortgage advisor Thomas Boughton. Although the property purchase fell through in the end I felt well supported throughout, he was clear and transparent in his communication and he was able to provide a very competitive rate. Will be using him again in the future.

If you want to pay a higher rate and waste your money go with them !!!
Jordan Smith - is the guy we dealt with and absolute nightmare
- we told him we want to put 15% deposit - he locked us in with 20% deposit offer without telling us
- the valuation of property came under valued forgot to inform us for weeks
- it was after a month when we got the mortgage papers we saw that the property valuation and offer price were different
- plus we had locked a fixed rate and on the mortgage paperwork - there was a tracker rate
- and he kept saying he will fix it and did nothing
- we finally gave up and went with another mortgage advisor
- wasted months and the whole process was a nitemare

It was great to have had Phillip and Ross's help through the process of purchasing my first property. Really helpful explaining the process and dealing with some of the hurdles that solicitors and banks layed along the way. They made a very stressful process more bearable.

I am fortunate having Ameet as my Mortgage Agent, very polite, efficient to help proceed mortgage in such a difficult environment - crazy interest rate that not many bank offer products. It took quite awhile to finally complete The transaction of the flat (seller wait the new built complete) and while handling communication with estate agent, lawyer etc I was in USA and ameet did not mind to have call during weekend or outside Working hours (and help to chase lawyer as I also just the lawyer they rec, which also did their job - heard of so much bad things of other mates almost lost their mortgage offer as their lawyer was slow ). This kind of service is almost not found in London. Mortgage is not cheap but I really love my flat. Appreciate of your help ameet! Reasonable service fee of £250. Some might offer for free that I did hear about, but I will say it totally worth !!!
