Ordered tyres & tubeless sealant on a…
Ordered tyres & tubeless sealant on a Sunday. Was advised the shipment was sent on Monday via 48 hour courier but by Thursday nothing had arrived nor any details available on tracking.
Contacted Balfe’s and was advised there was an error with my order and it must be recreated. Was told it would be shipped priority and delivered next day. It was not however and arrived the following day.
While I got the items I ordered, the requirement to chase the original order and then failure to deliver when committed means I must give Balfe’s 1 star.

Although we’re pleased the tyres and sealant have now arrived, we understand that the priority replacement was also delivered later than advised. You should have been able to rely on the information provided, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment caused.

Chris and Ben in customer support were very helpful … the monitoring of my new bikes status was excellent up until despatch an excellent again once it was placed on to delivery ( it fell down a bit in between as there were4 days when I didn’t know what was happening. Chris and Ben were very helpfull during this gap) Ian delivered the bike and was excellent in advice and set up.

Excellent service from Christopher
Excellent service from Christopher, very attentive, supportive and secured the bike which was in limited stock availability immediately from sale. As soon as i shared the cycle to work certificate the bike was shipped in excellent time and arrived built with accessories so thank you very much. Only small improvement one brake lever was scratched and the front carbon forks discoloured both noted on delivery - thanks for taking these points forward

Quick delivery
Quick delivery, good deal on an xl helmet to fit my big head, was struggling so was nice to find one so affordable that fits so well. Would use balfes again.

Ordering was easy enough and supported…
Ordering was easy enough and supported by staff. The bike turned up, with the packaging wrecked. Checked the bike over paintwork was ok so accepted the bike. On the first ride the gears didn't feel right, contacted Balfe's and was told to put it in for repair and they would pay. Did just that, not heard anything from Balfe's since! Tried emailing but no response.

Delivery got stuck in Basingstoke
Delivery got stuck in Basingstoke, an absolute nightmare trying to get a refund or the same item resent out.
We paid for express delivery as well.
Not to mention as of today’s date 31st August 2026 I’ve not had a refund even though the package was redirected back to yourselves!
Absolutely shocking.
