Buying vehicle from Auction Export was a smooth experience. There was no third party involved. I was able to buy from the website through the assistance of credible auction export agents. All necessary documents were received without any difficulty. The local Destination agent for auction export also assisted in the customs duty processes and final clearing. Vehicle was handed over to me as it was shown in the auction pictures.

Auction Export is one of the best auction websites I have come across. Details given on vehicle is what you see when vehicle arrives at destination port. Duration of delivery is on point but if anything can done to make it a little faster will be good. the problem with this company is that…
the problem with this company is that money is more important to them than good cooperation with the client. at every step they add costs. they say that their commission is only $295 but that's not true.Land and sea transportation costs are inflated, so you end up paying several hundred dollars more than $295. if you compare the auction costs with the competition you will see that they charge more for auction costs. additionally they add transport costs. later to make a payment e.g. by credit card they deduct 3.8% for every dollar transferred. in the end you lose much more than $295 you also have to take into account that from all these costs we later pay VAT, excise duty or customs in our country. because this company puts all these costs in the invoice for the car. I know what I'm talking about because I've already bought four cars from them. the fourth was my last. additionally auctions often don't work because you can't connect to them. or on the car page it shows the auction number and when you go to the car bidding page there is no auction number at all. although on the iaai website the auction was ongoing. to sum up looking at my cooperation with this company I advise you against buying from their site. there are many other sites that do not rip off like them. if you do not know which ones ask chatgpt he will tell you ;-) greetings from Poland.

As mentioned in our previous email communication, the 3.8% fee applied to credit card payments is not a charge from AuctionExport, but rather a standard processing fee imposed by the payment gateway provider. We always aim to be transparent about such costs and offer alternative payment methods, like wire transfer.
Regarding the invoice structure, we are legally required to issue a single invoice that includes all associated costs—vehicle price, auction fees, documentation, and transportation—so that clients can receive complete documentation for customs clearance and import purposes. Unfortunately, we are unable to split these charges due to regulatory and accounting guidelines.
While it’s true that costs such as VAT, excise duty, and customs are paid in your country, these depend entirely on local government regulations and apply regardless of the platform you choose to use.
We acknowledge your concern regarding the auction interface. Our team is continually working to ensure better performance and to minimize issues with real-time bidding links. We appreciate clients like you who have completed multiple purchases with us and we sincerely thank you for your past business.

THE TRUE CONDITION OF VEHICLE THAT WAS ADVERTISED WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM THE ACTUAL VEHICLE RECIEVED. MY CAR WAS ADVERTISED AS CLEAN RUN & DRIVE BUT THE CAR I RECIEVED WAS A FLOODED CAR WITH BUNCH OF ELECTRICAL ISSUES AND OTHER EXTERIOR DAMAGES THAT WAS NOT IN THE ADVERTISE PICTURES. MY CAR ALSO MISSING KEY FOB WHEN I RECIEVED AND I HAVE SENT NUMEROUS EMAILS TO NO AVAIL. THEIR STAFFS ARE HOPELESS TOO ROBERT LEE AND WALTER, FROM THEIR RESPONSES CLEARLY THEY DONT HAVE TIME FOR YOU. NOW AM STUCK WITH SENDING MORE HOPELESS EMAILS AND A BUNCH OF BILLS TO PAY. COMPLETE DISASTER!!!

They are the worst bunch of thieves
They are the worst bunch of thieves . I won the bid for 15600 dollars . Was told the car is run and drive but I after I was told it couldn’t be shipped by RORO .. they insisted on handling the shipping themselves . So I cancelled because their shipping prices was way off the chart and I bought the car because on their system it said it could be shipped by roro .,
I wrote an official message to cancel .. at that moment they refused to reply my messages and and kept the deal charging me late shipping charges even after I cancelled . On their same message they said they will charge 10% from the deal for cancellation. Yet they refused to cancel and kept charging me late shipping even after their own deadline.
They locked my money and as I type they have kept my $3200 and has refused to refund . THEY ARE SCAMMERS STAY OFF , YOU WILL REGRET .. their staff are rude and very disrespectful the Moment you cancel . One ROBERT LEE , very arrogant guy ..

To clarify the situation:
The vehicle you purchased was a salvage, accidented pickup truck, which did not qualify for RORO shipping. This was communicated to you in detail.
You were invoiced for container consolidation to Ghana, as RORO was not an option.
On February 25th, you requested to change the shipping destination to Togo. We informed you that we do not offer container consolidation to Togo and that, due to the vehicle's condition, RORO shipping was not available.
On February 26th, you stated that if the vehicle could not be shipped to Togo, you wished to cancel the purchase. We provided alternative 40’ container shipping rates, but you expressed that it was beyond your budget.
You were then advised to contact our team regarding the cancellation process and applicable fees.
On February 27th, you submitted an official request for cancellation, citing personal financial reasons due to an emergency medical situation in your family.
Per our Terms and Conditions, cancellations are subject to a 10% fee, which was clearly outlined prior to purchase. Despite this, we continued to assist you in exploring viable shipping solutions. Any late fees incurred were due to delays in the decision-making process on your end.
While we regret that the situation did not meet your expectations, we assure you that all charges and policies were communicated transparently. If you require further clarification, we are happy to assist.
Quality of vehicles listed
a very poorly run organisation , no quality control what so ever on listings , alot of sellers will present listings as whole cars and enhance images only to have the car arrive in a horrendous state ( riveted seats to floor pan of car with tin sheet and a million of issues). id highly recommend avoiding these people.

We would like to clarify that most of the vehicles listed are sold directly from salvage auctions, and we do not have physical possession of the vehicles before they are sold. As a result, we are unable to verify the exact condition of the cars firsthand. This is why the prices of salvage vehicles are significantly lower than those of fully restored or operational cars.
We make it a point to indicate on our website and on the invoice that all sales are “as-is,” meaning that the vehicles are sold in their current condition without any guarantees. We understand this can sometimes be a disappointment, but the reduced pricing reflects the potential for varying levels of condition and repairs needed.
