Absolutely disgusting service.
A 3 year old Limited Edition Ford Ranger Thunder, with 33,000 miles started over revving, slipping gears, making whining noises and repeatedly going into limp mode. Our truck was with them from 8th May, the of June we TRUSTED them and agreed to paying for a new gear box that was so say needed. £6,100
Then guess what, same problems but worse, 2 days after we got it back.
Truck went in and out 5 more times and was with them for 7 months, ended up getting it recovered to another garage on 6th December.
Because of their neglection and ignorance to Fords own technical service bulletin, needed a new engine, intercooler and turbos. £14,173.
Manor complaint but Allen Ford have still
Not replied too.
Ford customer service have denied goodwill or acceptance of fault.

I purchased my car from Allen Ford Northampton over four years ago, which is when I first met Kerry Moore. Every time I have taken my car in for a service and MOT, Kerry has treated me with respect and professionalism. If there was ever a delay or a problem, she would call me and explain everything clearly.
When my engine failed recently, I made the mistake of going elsewhere because the car was on my driveway, and I hoped to get it fixed nearby. Unfortunately, the vehicle ended up at a garage outside Northampton. After spending £2,000, my car was returned with a blowing exhaust. According to their mechanic, it was "just a small blow," but when I had the car inspected, it turned out to be serious, major damage caused by them during the engine repair. They had even tried to cover it up instead of explaining the issue to me.
I went to Allen Ford Riverside and explained the problem to Kerry. The car was booked in, repaired properly, and it cost me £1,005.46. However, I was happy with the way I was treated and how my car was handled.
Kerry Moore is invaluable—do not lose this lady! She is a credit to your company, and because of her, I’ve even decided to purchase a second Ford from you.
I’d also like to thank another employee, Mick, who collected my car from my home and later picked me up to retrieve it. He was another professional and kind representative of your team.

Pressurised by Mark Hyatt at Nuneaton into paying for extra fuel that I didn’t want or even get and no response to emails for months regarding wheel & window damage caused by delivery driver who admitted to me and even marked on their notes that they were responsible for causing them.
8 months on and still not resolved, all email correspondence confirming Ford are liable but no sign of repairs or money back.

I was not happy that my car was not looked at in a timely manner and I had to pick it up without the wrok having been done.
I am sure none of the staff did this deliberately, and that may be they are over worked. However, the delay did upset me.

I tried to get a price for a repair to my Ford. I phoned the service number. The only two options were to book a service or speak to someone if my Ford was already with them. I try option 2 and I was first in queue and fifteen minutes later still first in queue. In the meantime I had to listen to repeated advertising.
When I book a service I am inundated with e mails then videos of the service then surveys. Why is so hard to speak to someone apart from booking a service ( where you are constantly referred to booking online) or buying a car.
The designers of Ford dealership systems seem to design them to thoroughly put you off of Fords.

This was my forth Ford purchase but my first car purchased online. Dylan Chater was excellent and answered all my questions no matter how daft they probably seemed. He was very helpful and ensured I understood each stage.
Shout out to Kevin Crick too in Accounts and Eddie who delivered my new Kuga. (Never had delivery before, always collected from the dealer.) Love the car and I'm looking forward to many comfortable miles in it.

At first i was hesitant about ordering online but had no need as the process was a simple one. After showing interest in my car i received a phone call right away from Dylan (who was fantastic) he explained everything and his communication via email was on point, keeping me up to date! Dealt with Rob Patel from the start of the used car purchase. Very easy to deal with and couldn’t do enough to help. Car was exactly as described which was handy as the garage was not exactly round the corner. Upon purchasing the car I discovered a fault very easily missed so not the fault of the garage. Rob could not have been more helpful to resolve the issue. Pleasure to deal with Rob and Allen Ford group and I would highly recommend them.
Don't be fooled!
Most of the positives reviews are from people who bought a brand new car - poor people have no clue what awaits them once they return for a service or maintance. Allen Ford will rob you in broad daylight. For those like me who where silly enought to buy a used car of them are even worse off. Used car 15k pound - less than 3 months later it needed engine replacement ( 8k pounds) waited 2 months to get a slot and another 3 months for repair. After engine replacement I was done I returned 7 times in 12 months for faults related to the engine. They lied to me on numerous occasion and tried to have me pay for stuff that wasn't broken. Their customer service is horrible and their managers are scammers. Sold my Ford and moved to Honda.

I purchased a Ford Puma and it arrived in the good condition I would have expected to being new. I'm hoping the after sales continues to be as good as when I purchased the car. Absolute Robbers for Parts
Had to order a set of washers for my focus air con. Firstly it took 2 weeks to get delivery to my 3rd party garage to fit ( because Ford are astronomical in repair prices). Received eventually a plastic bag with about 6 washers in it. Kid you not, the bag was no bigger than 3inches square. You would think £25 or so considering its manufacturers part. NO…. Over £100 !!!!! Dick Turpin didn’t even rob people of as much.
