I've been online since 2004 and previously used 3 different carts. 3dcart is by far the best for customer support. Right now I'm still in the setup phase. I'm not a programmer or developer, but have a basic knowlege of how this is supposed to work. I just love the live support widget. I can address the question or problem I'm having immediately. They are quick to respond, courteous, respectful and will usually provide a link to the Knowlege Base Article addressing the issue.

Using 3dcart is a lot easier setup than some of the previous carts I've used. One of the features I like is I can set up a product template for similarly related items, instead of creating a new product listing from scratch.

We've been using 3dcart for quite a while now. And we're pleased with the service that they provide. Everyone is knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. Prompt to respond and very good on follow ups!

Would give 4.5 stars if I could :). We have a few stores with 3dcart for the past 2 years now and we are happy with their product and customer service. What I like: Store theme / UI is easy to customize. Lots of options for Promos / Coupons / Discounts. Easy to import and export data. Easy to insert your own HTML and / or JS and CSS. Integrated Newsletter / Marketing features. And once again, great customer service, which I believe is 24/7 (Although I miss the Live Chat version they used to have a few months ago). The missing 0.5 would be for some minor buglets I've experienced in their Admin portal, and for some very minor features that they don't have yet that our previous cart vendor already had. Still, thumbs up, 3d :)!

When I started selling online, I did some serious research before choosing 3dcart. Why? Because once you make a commitment, it's very difficult to switch. Now, after almost 2 years of online selling and having built multiple stores, I do not regret the decision to go with 3dcart.

3dcart is robust in its features, but relatively easy to use. Its got a great support system and their support staff answers questions quickly. All of this for a reasonable pricing structure. (Take note Big Commerce! You blew it by getting overly aggressive with your pricing structure this year. 3dcart, don't make the same mistake!)

The only reason 3dcart doesn't get 5 stars from me is because some of its templated content is not up to professional quality standards, something that's easy to work around, but still, I expect better.

The 3dCART platform is as easy or advanced as you care to make.
Takes 2 minutes to add a product once your behind the scenes work is done. Great FAQ section, prompt email and phone support. Never had a poorly trained tech support person.

With 3Dcart I was able to set up my first store and have it running smoothly almost immediately. I was so nervous that there would be a lot of computer lingo that I would have to understand in order to set my store up, but that just wasn't the case! The 3dcart folks set this shopping cart up so that you can easily understand how to make changes to your store all by yourself. It's almost like one of those computing for dummies books--really easy to understand and work with. I can't imagine using any other company for this.

3dcart is a nice cart with some great features. Over the years their customer service has become mediocre at best. For a company who is always tooting mobile friendly and responsive carts, they still have a lot to do to make their admin panel truly mobile friendly. They are always making updates/upgrades and I know their team is working on things, but sometimes not as quickly as you'd like to see them be made.

I have dealt with this company ever since they were a 3 man team. We saw in them technology that was ahead of the others. They still remain that way to this time. The people are great, Support is outstanding, and the management team is approachable. No other company can say that. I have 8 sites with them and plan to launch a few more this year and next. You just can't beat 3DCart.

I have a small business where I put in very minimal hours per week to keep it running. My last platform had the letters W and P in it and required a lot of effort to make sure all of my plugins and features had the latest code and worked well with all of the other plugins/themes etc. There were probably 2 dozen different companies/developers managing the full lot of these plugins. Some of them simply stopped supporting their code over the years and I was pretty much stuck. I'd get emails from customers letting me know that something wasn't working right or they couldn't checkout without errors to let me know when i needed to put on my IT hat and try to find/fix the problems - and I'm not a technical person! So finally i threw in the towel and started looking for something better.
I researched for a couple of weeks and asked around for feedback and landed on 3DCart because it seemed to have the most features and be the most intuitive for non-technical folk in the affordable price range that I wanted to stay with.
Not having to host my site anymore saved me some money that was used to offset the very reasonable monthly fee 3DCart charges. So cost actually ended up being about the same compared to the "free open source" platform i was using.
Now that I've been up and running for about a month I've got to sample lots of the features offered and I have to say, this is a truly capable platform! There are modules to integrate with ebay and google shopping and fantastic reporting and analytics tools included for no extra charge. You can support retail and wholesale customers with the same site by adding customers to segments and setting different prices for the products based on those segments. Its going to be able to grow with my business if i decide to grow it. I also like how I can do everything from the one admin site. Email customers, process orders, ship to my customers, etc. And i can do all of this from my mobile phone browser efficiently too. Everything works on the mobile site unlike with some of the competitors. I can answer a customer's question within a few moments while i'm at the bar, at a friends house, or waiting in line at the grocery store. I feel so productive!
Last thing that I want to mention is the support. Its real and they do get back to you within their SLA. I've actually found most answers in their robust knowledge base library and only had to get their help a few times on random things. That's really worth a lot to me since i really prefer self-service.

Normally you can't expect to get too much out of a site if you don't put in the hours but i work fulltime and this webstore is my side job. Because it is so well thought out I'm able to put in just a couple hours a week and have a perfectly stable functioning store that couldn't be easier to manage. I really couldn't be happier!

I have reviewed MANY Ecommerce platforms (that's my job) in the past and I think 3dcart is one of the best platforms out there that is well rounded and most feature enriched platform in the market. Unlike most other platforms, they include all of the vital features part of the plan right out of the box.

For the past 5 years efarm.net.au has been using Coffeecup software hosted with WEBCity. The coffeecup software was showing it's age and changes at Google saw my sales drop by 50%. I spent 5 weeks looking for a replacement. During the 15 day trial all my questions were answered quickly and professionly. I went live 3 weeks ago and since then all issues have been resolved within hours. The store now has > 300 products with approx 250 left to go. The BLOG is the latest thing. The extra's I got when compared with others are.
1. Free Shipping.
2. Live Aust Post shipping quotes.
3. Linking of like items.
4. The ability to have a product in more than one catagory.
The movement of my domain (eFarm.net.au - go there now!) was an ongoing concern for me. I worried for nothing. It was a seemless movement. I was very surprised.
As an IT professional with qualifications in ITSMF the support area, whilst not perfect is very close.

That is a big claim, but I've used this platform for about 5 years, and haven't been able to find anything else with as much ease and versatility for the price. The customer service is stellar. I sell on several different price levels to serve different types of clients (retail, dropship and wholesale) and it is remarkably easy to set up their accounts, pricing levels and tracking. Highly recommend!

I have used Yahoo in the past and 3dcart by far comes out on top as the best choice for total customization and all the tools to grow and maintain your online store with incredible customer service. One happy customer, thank you 3dcart!

3dCart - responsive customer/technical support. Good Shopping cart interface, however would be nice to include a few more advanced 'bells & whistles' ie: apps... but, not inferring the offerings are poor. Far from. Overall, excellent value.

We have been with 3dcart for several years. Throughout that time frame we have had nothing but great experience. As times change and the need for you to update or modify your website in order to stay inline with google demands and various other needs, 3dcart is right there ready for you to launch the newest and greatest function. Many other platforms offer the same ability to a degree, but with 3dcart it is seamless and with little to no downtime.

I would highly suggest anyone seeking a platform to house their website at to take a close look at 3dcart. They offer many features and often without additional fees like other platforms.

I have been with 3dcart for nine years. Overall I have been very pleased. I love that they have phone support (not all ecommerce providers do) and the admin interface is easy to use. The monthly fee (I use their highest option) is quite reasonable. One downside is that they do not let you install Wordpress at your site so I have to host my business blog elsewhere. Over the years I have had very little downtime (usually just due to server upgrades) and they are good at communicating changes they're making to servers, admin, etc. The website designs they offer have improved greatly over the years and they have a lot of options for merchants (including allowing you to sell eproducts like PDFs). There are a few changes I would make to the way they have things set up - they do have a recommendation site but I don't know how often they implement customer recommendations. I recommend 3dcart for any small business that needs a reliable hosting platform.

I've been running a online store for over 5 years now. I thought 'owning my cart' would be a better option than renting, so I was using X-Cart for a while. Everything that went wrong, server or X-cart wise fell on my lap and I found myself dealing with fixing the cart more than I was working on stocking my store. Worse off you have to pay a good chunk for customer support.

We tried 3D Cart and it's been vastly easier and better. If we have any trouble their support has been really nice and able to get us the info we need or they solve said issue within an hour or so.

The cart software itself has only been improved with a new interface, and though our store is fairly basic we have no trouble making making product pages look nice and keep the storefront in general our own unique look. Seriously it's a huge perk not having to sort out any technical problems, you let them handle it and you continue trying to market yourself or just keeping up with sales.

Only issue is the low bandwith at the basic option but we have no other need to upgrade to the next tier.

The 3dcart interface is very easy to use. It's easy to update products, update the site, and there are many apps and modules that work flawlessly with 3dcart to make our site look beautiful and function well. I would consider myself as a pretty tech saavy person, but even some back end issues stump me at times. 3dcart support is GREAT at helping me solve these problems. Their staff is very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. I'd recommend them to anyone, and would not hesitate to continue using them in the future.
