I was having problems with my e-mail…

I was having problems with my e-mail account. Several things occurred.

When I went to the online chat answers I achieved nothing. However they pointed me to the Just Answer (Justanswer.com). I had been there before when Adobe sent me there. This is hold up organization, you pay $1.00 to get onto the site and it gives you a sneak attack that commits you to a one year subscription for around $68.00. Then you pay $40 for poor answer. I was out $109.00. That was where I was suppose to get my answer for what should have been service with 3d Cart.

I did get an e-mail answer which did not make any sense from 3d cart. They said my e-mail account was not pointing to 3d cart servers. My account comes from 3d cart.

I spoke with two representatives who did nothing for the problem. One support person did offer to register my email address for $15.00.

Phone support is difficult to reach. "You are number 8 in line" is poor management. All are representatives are working at home etc. etc.

Thinking it over, maybe my rating should be one star.

Sorry you were having issues with your emails. Our support should've been able to help with this if you email was with us. However there are many variables that come into play with email. You mentioned support said the email isn't pointing to our servers. This usually means that your email is being hosted/controlled by another company which is normal. In those cases we may not be able to trouble shoot everything because we wouldn't have access to the servers. If you provide your domain or store name I can look further into this and point you in the right direction. Also we do not and should not refer our merchants to ( justanswer.com) for any issues related to our software or setup. I will look into this also.

3Dcart is great!

3Dcart has been amazing for my startup business! It has been really easy for me to upload my products and understand how to navigate it. Also, the Tech Support Team has been EXCELLENT in helping me with things I don't understand.

Great company, excellent customer service. 4 Stars because they don't support my current credit card processing company and now have to search for a new one, but staying with 3Dcart as my platform.

Great way to start a first time business website.

If you are starting a new website & have a good amount of produce you know will sell. This is a great site for you. Very easy to learn how to use in a few days. round the clock help on the phone. You can't beat peace of mind that if something breaks you have someone to fix it or explain what the problem is.

I set up two these for the company I work for and the second one was set up even faster because I know how the processes works.

Would recommend this for a company first website.

Awful customer service.

The shopping cart functions pretty well for the most part. Unfortunately, they do not have a solid integration with Square POS which is what we were told they had by their sales rep. After a month of working moving platforms and working to try and resolve the integration issues, we found that 3Dcart would not meet our needs. If this is where our story ended we would probably not have given a review but if asked would have said 4-stars but because of our experience trying to cancel their services we felt compelled to write this review.

I tried to cancel via their website. I was forced to call in. I called, no answer so I left a message. No call back. I emailed the rep who set up our account. No answer. I emailed the customer service. No answer. I called again, left another voicemail. I called again, this time the sales rep who set up the account. No answer so I left a voicemail. No call back. I emailed support. They responded and informed me that the only way to cancel was by calling in. I called again, and again. Then called again this time the support line. I got through, they forwarded me to someone else who canceled my account! finally. But wait, what about the refund that the sales rep promised we would receive? No refund. Not for anything. Many more emails back and forth with the person who canceled the account. She wants proof because it is their policy to not refund. I forward the email chains from the sales rep where he says that we could try the platform for 6 months and still receive a refund. No reply. I email again. I forward again. No response. So here I am, frustrated.

3 D Cart Review

I've found 3 D Cart to be an excellent platform for my business needs. Its:-
- Very easy to set up and use
- Rarely any issues/downtime
- Excellent and timely support
- Easy to customise
- Super simple to change your website design (using one of the many templates they have available)
- Offers excellent value for money
- Supports multiple payment options
- Supports multi-currency display

My only negative, it was very expensive to install the SSL Certification at US$49 (that said I could and should really have done myself).

I would definitely recommend 3dCart, especially for website novices.

3cart helped Wilberforce University…

3cart helped Wilberforce University create a product so we could accept donations from donors and alunmni. This was an emergency and the 3dcart team helped me with setup, changes, reports, and navigating the system. The team was professional, patience and willing to do anything to help!

Have been using 3dcart with minimal issues…

Have been using 3dcart with minimal issues for years. I have an IT background, so maybe things are just easier for me. When support is needed, it can take some time to get a response, response was instant when I first started using this platform. My sales did increase when switching from my old platform to this one.

You will ruin your reputation with 3dcart

Don't use 3dcart if you can. please use any other platform !!! NOT 3dcart !!! . If you want to grow your business, use a different platform. A terrible customer service that won't help you, if they willing to help you they will charge you a lot of money. They created your platform in such a way that you will pay for all the difficulties they have created.
Take care of YOUR BUSINESS and do not use 3dcart.
3dcart platform is finished ...You will ruin your reputation with 3dcart

Do not use 3DCart as a e-Commerce platform

Poor, very poor customer service. The website is down for the second time now within 3 months. First time the website was down for 4 hours and while i'm writing this review have been down for 13 hours (and it still is). I called them to the support phone (3 phone numbers) and they are not available.

If you do not want to loose customers, Google index and so on, do not use 3Dcart as a e-Commerce platform. They are sucks!

3DCart has been by far the worst…

3DCart has been by far the worst experience I have ever had with ANY service providers! EVERYTHING I needed was always referred back to the Billing team which was so hard to get in touch with! They are slow, rude, and incompetent! Each time I had an issue, I had to chase them to get ANYTHING done, and then as soon as I fixed the issue, it seemed like they created many more! Charged the card I told them NOT TO CHARGE, then had an attitude when I made VALID complaints about their incompetency! It took them days to transfer my domain name (oh yeah, because I left for WIX!), and then only transferred it today! Now, I am locked out of my own account because these geniuses have NOT removed their email and contact details BEFORE transferring in my domain! I now have to waste more time to gain access to MY domain! They win the award of WORST customer service team every put together! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND GO FOR SHOPIFY OR WIX....

UPDATE: A GOT IN TOUCH WITH SOMEONE WHO FINALLY DID HELP! NEVERTHELESS, I STILL WOULD NOT RECOMMEND 3DCART AFTER THE EXHAUSTING BACK AND FORTH AND TIME WASTED.

Also may I have you're domain name so that I can view your account and get up to speed on what's needed? Usually transferring the domain is seamless unless there's a wait for the previous registrar to release it for transfer which I can check. Thanks!

used to be good, not anymore

I have used 3D cart for a while, and they used to be good but now they have staff that just charges you $$ to fix any issues you may have and usually they are wrong and you are stuck paying anyway. I had an issue that was their fault, but I did not know at the time. They told me a $159 charge would fix the issue, but after spending the $$, they now tell me it's a different problem and that will cost more money. They have no idea how to fix their own systems. I will be leaving 3D cart for a better company

Cannot contact anyone to get any technical issues resolved. If I am lucky enough to get a human via email, or chat, they will respond and ask me for more information, but then never get back to me. Its actually like an abyss, or ship where everyone is asleep when it comes to customers like me. I've only heard directly from them when they wanted to sell me the SSL cert which I needed. That's it! I was also charged a $79 fee with no explanation and cannot get a response. Email connectors do not function properly now I have pointed my DNS to them and they will not assist in resolving it. Its hurting my bottom line and communication ability. I am a brand new new business that cannot withstand such dumb errors out of the gate. I put so much effort into my website and now I want to switch but can't without taking my webstore offline for a week! Aside from this lack of customer service, I am happy with my site even though its glitchy with updates. Just do not expect customer assistance/support. You really should have done this before so no assistance is ever needed.

What an outrageous scam company

I started their free trial and immediately noticed that while they let you customize the currency symbol, they do not let you place the symbol after the price amount (for example 123 € instead of €123). This is a crucial feature for some countries/currencies. Their technical support was rude and unhelpful, and their only recourse was to tell me that I should contact their sales department for a quote for the cost to program the feature. The price display format should have worked in the first place and they should not be charging extra to fix it. I am very fortunate to only have started the free trial so that these scumbags did not get a cent from me, and I found an alternate ecommerce platform that works properly in my country.

I do have another review about 3Dcart…

I do have another review about 3Dcart on here but this is the latest up date to the last one.
Been with it now since August, paid up till end of the year. I had problems with it changing from a trial to paid version, unable to log on and they lost all items listed in that period and that was many hours of work. I was persuaded to return after it took 2 weeks to sort it out. Should have known better.
I have over 4000 items to list and was up to 800, again many hours of work. Transfered domain name then found althought the payment card side was secure the site was not. Log on with chrome and it will not open the site and all other browsers give a warning on security. You need to buy a SSL certificate. They will sell you one at a exorbant price, so bought one from a 3rd party for a fraction of the cost from 3dcart. They have you again! they charged 4 times the price of the certificate to install it. Took 2 weeks to get it installed and working which I am told should have taken less than an hour once they had all the codes. Read their terms carefully just about everything is an extra even a form. I lost the password (my fault) but try to get the link to retrive it? No chance. After 3 weeks gave up trying to make contact, I found the password and was back in. After many many times trying to get in touch with help desk with no replies, gave up. Clicked the cancellation button, gave the reason for leaving. Totaly wiped out from logging in. Everything gone. No explination or emails nothing. Paid up till end of the year no refund.
For me 3dcart was a bad expensive experience, time consuming a total waste of effort. Reason for leaving. All the extras, and a totaly useless help desk. 3dcart looks good and if you are the techy type you will probably get it to work, but if you are a normal human like most of us give it a miss. The grass is not always greener on the other side. Went back to my old supplier, at least what you see is what you get. BUYER BEWARE.

3dCart Offers a Customizable Store and Numerous Features

3dCart offers myriads of ways to customize your online store. 3dCart even gives you access to the HTML code and CSS file for most of the main pages, which allows you to tweak things if you wish (but you don't have to get into the coding if you don't want to; many of the options can be turned on and off with radio buttons). The well-thought-out features provide your customer with a robust shopping experience. To achieve this degree of customizability, be advised that the administrator interface is quite complex. It takes time to learn which section of the dashboard activates your desired options. I recommend going with at least the Basic plan so you have 24/7 access to the phone tech support, which I've found to be polite and knowledgeable.
