Loophole!
Had to pay my excess twice, despite visits being for the same issue as one was the end of March and the 2nd visit was the beginning of April. I completely understand it is a new financial but the proximity of the visits and the start of the condition should be taken in to consideration.

We understand why paying an excess twice for the same condition would feel disappointing.
One excess is taken per condition, per policy year. As your visits fell across two separate policy years, the excess applied in each year, this is because your used policy limit also tops back up to 100% at renewal.

Smooth process of making a claim. Staff were also very friendly when contacting via email with questions and for customer support.
Pre-approval for claims would be a great option to explore in the future.
