Today we took home our first EV
Today we took home our first EV, having had Volvos for the past 15 years, out choice was a no brainer, the service we received has been exemplary and like many reviews a very impressive young lady helped us from start to finish, Elena has been the model salesperson, she hasn’t pushed just guided and ensured everything has been exactly as she said it would be, nothing has phased her and she certainly knows her stuff, that said we couldn’t fault anyone we have encountered at Volvo Poole, great team but Elena gets the gold star, and I love my car!

On Wednesday we took delivery of anEX40, which we are delighted with. We were helped on our car buying journey by Elena. She was professional throughout her time with us, in spite of the fact that we had our dog with us, her family dog had sadly died on the evening before.
Elena patiently helped us with the technical details of the car, not minding that we had little knowledge of this area of the car.Before we drove the car away, she double checked that we knew how the systems worked.

Elena made the process straightforward from start to finish. She was knowledgeable, professional and approachable throughout, keeping us informed without being pushy. Communication was excellent, everything happened when it was supposed to, and the handover was smooth and well organised. Poor service …
Poor customer service on the service team side. Sarcastic staff attitude and poor welcoming service on the desk.
Car was handled to me on failure after they serviced it what it was loosing power and it almost caused a accident.
I loved the garage once upon a time but it seems like they need to get themselves together and bring that volvo garage to the level that it should be.

Following a full review of the circumstances, we found that the vehicle concern raised after the service was caused by a spark plug failure that occurred subsequent to the work carried out and could not reasonably have been predicted or prevented during the service. Once the issue was reported to us, our team acted promptly to investigate and assist in resolving the matter.
We are disappointed that you felt our customer service did not meet your expectations. Providing a professional and welcoming experience is important to us, and we take all feedback seriously. However, we do feel it is important that feedback remains respectful towards our employees, who are committed to assisting our customers and do not have the opportunity to publicly respond to personal criticisms.
While we appreciate your frustration at experiencing an unexpected vehicle fault shortly after your visit, unforeseen component failures can unfortunately occur and are not always related to servicing work.
Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We wish you all the best for the future.

Just purchased a new EX30 and was helped along the way right from the start. Marc Walby in particular at the show room gave me a lot of time and great advice. In fact all of the team there were excellent. When the car arrived the hand over was first class - with Marc spending time to resolve all issues. Excellent service throughout.

Amazing experience with Volvo
Amazing experience from stepping foot in the showroom to leaving with my new car. Customer service was amazing through out, car was fully set for me with all questions answered. The after care has also been amazing with emails answered with no waiting around to get reply’s. Couldn’t be happier and I didn’t only buy the car I also feel I have a great service going forward aswell. The Volvo team were friendly and approachable which I didn’t find in other main dealers and was also another reason we went with Volvo. We could see that nothing was to much effort for them and willing to help and answer any questions with a friendly manor and attention to detail. Highly recommend

Great service from Volvo Poole and Elena
We met Elena from Volvo Poole when we were looking to upgrade our EX30. Elena went through all the available cars explaining what each version had. We eventually chose the EX30 with Ultra trim.
On the day of the pick-up, Elena again went through some of the options for us. The big moment came when we went to get the car and walked right past it! Volvo had covered it a big black sheet and just like a magician it was unveiled for us by Elena.
Both Elena and Brennan then spent time making sure both our phones worked seamlessly with the car.
We then went to a cafe that Elena had suggested and had a great lunch.
We’d like to commend Volvo , Elena and Brennan for the patience and professionalism they both showed us.
Well done Volvo Poole and Elena!

Marc Walby provided all information in detail and I never felt pressured into anything. He understood my needs and worked with me to find the perfect car. Marc communicated at each stage clearly explaining what and why I was filling sections of the online documentation out. On collection, he spent time showing me all the features and assisting me connect everything so it was personal to me. An excellent service!

poor after-sales service
good sales service when they want you to buy a car. Rude and dismissive after-sales service. Plenty of other poor reviews saying the same but the poor service and attitude continues. Shame the company doesn't take bad reviews more seriously. I, for one, wont be purchasing another vehicle from them.

Outstanding service after a pothole nightmare — couldn't recommend more!
I recently had the misfortune of hitting a pothole and puncturing a tyre, but the team at Volvo Cars Poole service department turned what could have been a stressful situation into a really positive experience.
Leanne, Jamie, Katie and the wider team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They sourced a replacement tyre and had it ordered and fitted the very next day, meaning I had the car back in time for the weekend, exactly what I needed.
The level of service was outstanding, and Volvo assistants were equally brilliant throughout. You can really tell this team genuinely cares about their customers.
I would not hesitate to recommend Volvo Cars Poole service department to anyone. Thank you all so much.
