I placed a £99 reservation deposit on a car after being clearly told (both by the salesperson and on the company’s website) that this deposit was fully refundable if I chose not to proceed with the purchase.
After deciding not to go ahead with the car, I requested a refund. It has now been nearly three weeks, and I have still not received my money.
I have made multiple attempts to resolve this, including follow-up emails and phone calls to the dealership, but I’ve had no meaningful response or update. Communication from their side has been extremely poor.
I also tried to escalate the issue by requesting to speak with a manager. I was told I would receive a call back, but unsurprisingly, no one ever got in touch.
Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience. Advertising a “fully refundable” deposit means nothing if refunds are not processed in a reasonable timeframe and customers are ignored when they try to follow up.
I would advise others to be cautious before placing any deposit with this company.

Brett - prepared to cover the extra mile
All the staff, especially Brett, were helpful, knowledgeable, pleasant, nothing too much trouble and of course the car is fantastic. It’s a hundred mile journey from our house, but worth the effort. So much so, we ordered a brand new ID3 over the phone with Brett within a couple hours of getting home, for my wife. Brett worked hard to find the perfect car for both of us.

I’ve just taken delivery of a fabulous new Polo 50 Edition. It’s just amazing all the extras and it drives like a dream. I absolutely love it. The Sales Executive Rebecca is amazing she went the extra mile for me in selling me the car. She helped me every step of the way with all the paperwork & legalities. She sorted out all the paperwork for the transfer of my private number plate. She has the patience of a saint, because at my age you can’t take in everything first time. Pleasant experience
Many years since my last purchase of a car so was very apprehensive. The staff were helpful understanding and patient. Did not make me feel that there was any pressure to buy. Willing to give me time to think about the car and answering any questions even though they were quite basic. Excellent staff.

Friendly, polite, approachable staff who afford you the time and space to peruse the vehicle. They do not hover, crowd, or present hard sell tactics - which is a refreshing and pleasant change to car purchases in the past. The whole experience felt customer led, that I was in control rather than being swept along.

Highly recommended dealership
First and foremost we were fortunate to buy our car with the assistance of Naglis from the Mansfield dealership. Naglis was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He provided answers to our numerous questions with patience and good humour. We were introduced to managers who were also polite and helpful. We are very pleased with our car and the service provided particularly by Naglis. He is a valuable asset to the organisation and we would highly recommend both Naglis and the dealership.
