When it comes to renewing your policy, you're sent a new quote. Well that's good isn't it? Not if you don't want it because it's extremely difficult to cancel and no one answers the phone, there's no email response and no complaints service, that you can get in touch with that is. You'll spend hours on the phone because no one answers. The AI chat is useless, as is the portal. There's no cancellation option on there.
What they are good at is debiting your account, in my case 16 days before the insurance was actually due. Try and get a refund and you'll encounter a system that makes it extremely difficult to do. It was necessary to go to the Insurance Ombudsman to get a number (01483260400) that somebody answered the phone. Unbelievable. I'm awaiting a refund, which apparently was processed, although the amount shown on the useless portal is much less than what was taken. So I'm unsure whether I will receive a full refund. Avoid this Insurance broker at all costs because when things go wrong you'll have a nightmare getting them resolved.

Completed online form which is pretty detailed. Then had to call them to verify all the details I had just entered online. This call took more than 20mins and no changes were made from the information they already had. This call ended abruptly after the end of a recorded message and there was no conclusion as to what happens next. I had to call again to confirm that the policy would be agreed. 10 minutes later I had another call from them, asking me if I wanted to buy van insurance. Never had this from any other insurer.
Edit. After writing the above review, I had another three calls from them trying to sell the same.

I checked for a quote online and very soon received a call from Gocompare asking if I was happy with quote. I was then put on to Finn who checked through the policy for me and came back with a new quote which was considerably cheaper. All done in a short time and policy up and running. Very satisfied with service.

Went on line to get insurance quote had a phone call minutes later was told it would be cheaper over the phone and quicker . Got a figure that i said thought it was expensive but i was in a rush as had to vist my mum who was not well. Paid over the phone 54.95 deposit next morning read through email only to see broker charged over 50 percent cost of a years insurance ie 131 broker fee then i knew why it was so expensive not the reasons givrn over the phone so it was the startvof the second day phoned up under the cooling off period as other companies quoted half price was told i would loose my 54.95 deposit and had to pay another 55 pouds to come out of contract i was told ishould have read terms and conditions i explained it was done over the phone did not get terms to after deposit was paid was told to call complaints department which i did no answer had option for them to call back and you proba.y no the answer no call back. Would highly recomend not to use this company broker got 45 cancelation fee insurance got 25 pouns plus tax and charged for insurance a high price . The reason why agent calls is before you get chance to see there high fees ghen when you cancel they get 45 pounds anyway so win win for them. I thought fca done away with sharks like these many good companies out the to broker fees

Do not use. This is a dementedly poor broker, by far the worst insurance experience I have ever had. Everything is wrong. They push you towards doing everything online, preferably through their awful app, but then when you go to change a detail on the policy, tell you that you need to call them. Each time it will be 20 mins before they pick up the call. Having then used several minutes of your time "checking your contact details are up to date", they will say "I'm putting you on a brief hold", and that will be it. 10 minutes more will pass as you realise you won't hear from them again on that call. Start again.
Nothing works. After several calls over two days I managed to take one driver off the policy and add a new one, but the certificate isn't there on the site/app even though the message said it would be. All the old docs are there though, and every time you open one to see if it's the latest one that you're looking for and close it again, the collection of aging documents moves around in order, so you have to download them all to eliminate older ones once you can see the file number.
I genuinely can't wait for this policy to end later this month and I don't care how cheap it might be, I would go almost anywhere else as I have spent so much valuable time managing the policy, when it should be very straightforward.
