They have sold their vehicle finance department to a company we can’t get hold of from the 30may 2026 .. anybody going through any trouble too?

I had to sign my application 3 times as there was an error on the system and then there was an admin error. I don't know if this was because it was during the Christmas holidays but very unusual 🤔

Deeply Disappointed
Deeply Disappointed – Lack of Empathy and Poor Communication
I am grossly disappointed with V12 Finance’s handling of my situation. After mistakenly setting up my car finance direct debit from a savings account (which doesn’t permit direct debits) instead of my current account, the first payment in a five-year contract failed. I would have expected some understanding or, at the very least, sufficient effort to notify me before taking punitive action.
What V12 Finance did instead was appalling. Despite prior correspondence via post, they chose to communicate this issue by calling once while I was at work, instead of using additional methods like email or post to ensure I was aware. As a result, I was completely in the dark until they reported the missed payment to a credit agency, causing my credit score to plummet by over 150 points.
This is incredibly disheartening, especially given that my intent with taking car finance was to build my credit score—not to destroy it due to what was a correctable error. When I contacted V12 Finance to explain and rectify the situation, I was met with a cold response that "nothing can be done."
The sheer lack of empathy, unwillingness to address my concerns, and poor communication are shocking. I deeply regret choosing V12 Finance and would not recommend them to anyone. Their lack of consideration for customers and failure to take basic steps to communicate during such a critical issue are unacceptable.
