Another Seamless Trip With Amber and UME
As always, Amber and her team did a fantastic job. This time I took a more hands‑on approach with planning and had them help with booking trains and tours in Seoul. I do wish they offered tour options in Busan and some of the smaller villages, but I was able to find things through Viator and TripAdvisor for those areas.
My Seoul guide, Sally, went above and beyond. She shared history, culture, food, and even suggested great add‑ons like the Lotte World Tower, which I hadn’t planned on visiting. I really appreciated her taking me to the viral Netflix mung bean pancake spot—definitely not easy to navigate if you’re not local or don’t speak Korean.
Mingnan, the driver and main contact for my tour, was just as great. He reached out well in advance on WhatsApp, kept me updated throughout, and even helped with my VAT refund at the airport. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, he was there. I especially appreciated him coordinating all the transfers—always the trickiest and priciest part of travel, especially with how far Korean airports are from the city.

Nothing like you can imagine
I had an amazing time nothing like i imagine it would be every sec n min.my tour guides we're very helpful and understanding and they help me look and find things I was looking for to buy or to shop or good places to try some food and some Delicacies or some traditional Japanese food. I can't wait to play come back again to Japan and maybe do some motorcycle and some more stopping and try some more good food.

Bangkok tours
My new wife and I just toured Bangkok for the last three days with the fabulous Mr. Monchai. Monchai was our tour guide and led us through a variety of experiences in a knowledgeable and friendly way. He gave us context and background that made our experiences in Chinatown, various Temples, a river tour and a unique railway market more fun and meaningful. He obviously knows his way around Bangkok and worked hard to make us happy. Five stars!! Great job and thank you, Mr. Monchai!!

Easiest vacation I’ve ever taken!
This was the easiest vacation I’ve ever planned or taken thanks to UME travel and especially to Dan Li who went above and beyond to make sure we were able to go all the places we wanted and within our budget. Then when we arrived everything went like clockwork. All the
Drivers were on time and
waiting for us. The guides were all pleasant and knowledgeable. It was amazing having private transportation and tours guide. The hotels were comfortable, clean ,and near restaurants, shopping and transportation. Dan Li checked on us throughout the trip to make sure everything was going smoothly. Amber and the team at Ume Travel are true professionals who know their turf to a tee. Every detail of a complex international travel adventure was laid out months before it happened. Singapore and Bali are very different places yet the experience in both places was reliably perfect-our guides and hotels and drivers gave my son and me a trip to cherish in our memories.

3 weeks of memorable travelling!
It all started with the travel agent Steven. He is helpful, informative and whenever you need him he is there. I spent 3 weeks away and visited Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Indonesia. I was never disappointed! Guides were always on time and the nicest people! All the excursions were all planned out well and each one was memorable. Will definitely recommend 👌

Our trip was amazing, stress free!!!! From the moment we arrived until it was time to come home. We always had someone there waiting for us guiding us every step of the way very helpful specially when you don't speak the language. Our agent Carrie was amazing answering every question we had immediately even with the time difference. She put together for us the best itinerary and the best private guides and driver. I was looking for a concierge service that took all stress away when it came to logistics- plus help planning a trip to Thailand & Vietnam for my daughter and me. Bangkok was fantastic!
We just finished 2 days of touring Bangkok and area with Ying. She is wonderful. She picked us up at the airport and made sure we were taken care of until she escorted us right to security when she dropped us off again. She was very good at explaining the history and culture around all the places we visited. During the trip she was very attentive and adapted seamlessly to our pace. She is funny and sweet and we wish we could have her for our entire tour with UME.

Amazing Agency for First Time Travelers to Japan
From the start, UME Travel made the whole experience as easy as possible for us. Our agent, Carrie Tang, worked with us over email for several weeks as we wanted a more tailored experience in Japan. We wanted to visit 3 cities, experience some guided tours, stay in decent hotels and minimize cost where possible. Carrie crafted an amazing itinerary at a reasonable price.
Then came the actual experience - and it was as easy as one could hope for - we were greeted by our driver at the airport, taken to our first hotel - all accommodations were booked and taken care of - we just simply showed up at the appointed time and didn't have any confusion about what to do next. My husband and I don't speak or understand Japanese aside from the very basics, so having a lot of the more nuanced items taken care of (like the Shinkansen tickets, hotels, tours) made us spend all our energy focusing on enjoying the trip and none of it worrying about what to do next.
This was our first time using UME Travel, so we weren't really sure what to expect, but after this we most assuredly will use them again. Thank you so much to Carrie and team for all the work you've done, we had a trip we won't soon forget thanks to you.
