Fast paced tour with lots of walking and trains, but loved every minute. Our tour guide, Hanan, was such a delight and made each day a terrific experience.

Simply outstanding. From planning to exciting trip. Every aspect was great! Professional, sincere, and exciting. No hassles and every bit wonderful!

We completed our Japan trip a few days ago and we did the Must See Japan tour. It was the best guided tour we have been to, and this is down to one person: our truly amazing guide, Hanan. She was not a guide but a member of the family who took a group of 16 people of varying ages from all different parts of world on a wonderful and magical 11 day journey across Japan.
Her enthusiasm and love of the country infected us and we were eager participants in wanting to see as much as we could in the 11 days. Even on our free days we happily agreed to her suggestions of vsiting additional sites not included in the itinerary.
Her knowledge of the country is deep and she explained to us the traditions and etiquettes of the nation. Although we were a group of 16 it felt we were on our own personal tour as she made sure that our requirements were met. My wife is a vegetarian, and she ensured that there was a suitable place for her to eat at each stop.
Navigating the train network in Japan can be overwhelming and with military precision she negotiated our way to numerous changes including changing up to 6 trains one day without any difficulty. On timing she set us a challenge which we all rose to so that we could get the most out of our day. Her planning and attention to detail is faultless and throughout the whole she always had a big smile!
At each town we tasted the local dish and during our train journeys on the ”bullet train” we were treated to a taste of the dessert from the town/city we had left.
We all became friends during the 11 days guided by an amazing friend (and guide), Hanan.

The trip was fantastic from start to finish.
Our tour leader Hanan was exceptional. Her ability to manage the logistics and keep the group on schedule was amazing. Her knowledge and expertise, and sense of humour helped deliver an excellent fast paced trip across Japan.

Everything very well planned. And everything happened as arranged: taxis waiting for us, guides waiting for us, train tickets as stated. And when we wanted a change of hotel, it was arranged very quickly.

A fantastically organised trip for a family with 2 kids. Great accommodation and activities booked for us taking into account all our interests. We had a brilliant time and would highly recommend using Inside Japan.

I have recently returned from my trip to Japan. I did the Must See Japan tour. There were only 16 people in our group, which was the perfect size. This was by-far the best trip I have ever taken, and I owe it all to our amazing tour leader, Hanan. Hanan is the most incredible tour leader. The love of her job is evident in everything she does. We did so much more than was listed on the itinerary and learned a great deal about Japanese history, culture, and customs. We utilized every type of public transportation available, and with Hanan as our leader, we navigated them like pros. I loved how in tuned she was to our group. Hanan could sense our energy and would change plans accordingly. When we were full of energy, she would add extra little stops. When we were obviously exhaused, she would give us the option of taking cabs instead of trains. I am quite introverted and quiet and often struggle to feel comfortable in group settings. However, Hanan would check on my often which helped put me at ease. Whenever it was time for meals on our own, Hanan would show us various options that met all of our dietary preferences and needs. She even shared little treats with us that were specialties of the place we had just visited. Everything Hanan did was kind and purposeful. I have never met anyone as organized and detail-oriented as Hanan, and this made everything flow with ease. She was also a joy to be around, was funny, and warm (and quite the karaoke rock star!!). After 10 days in Japan, I now see why Hanan loves Japan so much. This trip has left a permanent imprint on my, and I owe it all to Hanan for all she did to make Japan so memorable. I can't wait to return, and when I do, I will definitely want Hanan as my tour guide! She is truly the BEST!!

There were 16 of us on your tour we met as strangers but we left as friends and had the best holiday. The main person responsible for this was our tour guide her name was Hanan she was truly amazing her knowledge of Japanese history and culture was superb. She ensured from the start to the finish that everything went like clockwork. Her energy and kindness had no bounds nothing was too much trouble.
The tour itself was truly amazing and well designed by this company.
I would have no hesitation In recommending this tour to everyone especially if it’s with your tour guide Hanan she is a leading light in your company.

The hotels exceeded our expectations. The itinerary was so easy to follow. We didn’t get lost using the suburban and bullet trains (which is amazing for me)! All the arrangements went so smoothly. The tour guides were great too. I’d definitely use Inside Japan Tours next time plan a visit to Japan.

We thought the Japan Unmasked tour was very well planned and executed. The tour leader was superb, the accommodations were very well located and there was a good balance of organised time versus free time. We visited a lot of interesting places. We can't wait to return to Japan.

All phone calls and emails before and after booking our tour with Inside Japan UK were dealt with quickly, efficiently and in a friendly manner. It was our first trip to Japan and we had a lot of questions all of which were dealt with very quickly and we never felt pressurised to book before we were ready to do so.

Our tour guide Hannan was AMAZING, simply outstanding in every way. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable in Japanese history, culture, food and people, she was also such a kind person and very fun too. Hannan is also very well organized and detail oriented which made everything go smoothly and without a hitch. Our security was always at the top of her mind. She made sure we made the best use of our time and saw everything we could. She has soooo much energy and was always ready to show us more. The tour is well designed for you to really get a great picture of Japan and the group size was just right. I would happily do any of the other tours this company offers and will be sure to book with Inside Japan if I go back to Japan.

We absolutely loved our Must-See Japan tour with Hanan!
The tour was fast paced, but absolutely amazing. We saw Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Osaka and then Tokyo again. It could not have been better!
Our tour guide, Hanan, was an absolute rockstar and so knowledgeable. She always had information for us, kept us on time for trains and busses, gave us options and free time if we wanted, made suggestions on what to see on our own, had recommendations for restaurants, and was the kindest, most patient, and most fun person ever. Our group was wonderful and we all became friends! Thank you Inside Japan! 🥰

I just returned from Japan after participating in the Must-See Japan tour. What an amazing experience! Not only for everything we saw and did which was absolutely incredible but also due to our spectacular guide, Hanan, who kept us moving, shared her in-depth knowledge of everything related to Japan, and showered us with kindness. I couldn't have asked for a better experience or had a better guide. (Not having to pay a single supplement was also a plus. Just be prepared to walk up to 20,000 steps a day!)

Great mix of locations and logistics management, an absolutely wonderful guide,

Had a great trip with my family and the rest of the small group. Our guide Hanan was so onto it; Everything was planned and ready, and she was able to help us plan things we wanted to do on our own as well. I'd say it was a great mix of activities from cultural activities like visiting shrines and seeing geishas, sightseeing, and local food, to shopping for clothes in Harajuku. I also really liked the autonomy to do your own thing whenever you wanted to if you weren't interested in the group's activity. IJT and Hanan made my Japan trip excellent, and I highly recommend. However, as with any holiday, be ready for a lot of walking!

Fantastic guide, extremely well planned out. It was everything we hoped for.

We recently returned from a Small Group Tour with InsideJapan Tours, and it was an absolute whirlwind of an experience in the best possible way. The itinerary was expertly crafted, taking us from the neon lights of Tokyo to the serene onsens and tatami mats of Hakone, the historic streets of Kyoto, the moving sights of Hiroshima, and the culinary heart of Osaka.

What truly elevated the trip, however, was our guide, Hanan. She was nothing short of incredible. Navigating Japan’s transport system is no small feat (some days involved jumping between six different trains) but Hanan handled the logistics with total precision. Beyond being a logistical genius, she was kind, generous, and deeply informative. She didn't just show us the sights; she taught us the language, the etiquette, and ensured we were eating the very best local food at every stop.

A wonderful and unexpected highlight was the group dynamic. We met some truly lovely people from all over the world, which made the shared meals and long travel days so much more enjoyable. It really felt like we were exploring the country with friends.

If you’re looking for a fast-paced, authentic, and stress-free way to see Japan, I cannot recommend this tour company, and Hanan specifically, highly enough. We came home with full hearts, full stomachs, and amazing memories.
