The installation process very bad
The installation process through the app and website was terrible. The Lebara Travel app was completely unusable—stuck on a loading loop and failing to fetch my plan details. To make matters worse, the website's step-by-step setup guide was completely unhelpful and didn't work as advertised. Instead of giving a clear, standard QR code or manual activation code, it forced me into a broken app loop. Very disappointing and frustrating technical experience.
On a positive note phenomenal online live chat agent Alli who helped me out. Once I reached out via chat, the agent was quick, patient, and extremely helpful. He completely bypassed the broken app process and sent me the direct link to manually install the eSIM profile directly onto my phone settings within minutes. Excellent 5-star customer service from him—he turned a very stressful setup into a success!
