Poor customer service and care.
I called their customer service to inquire about a product. I was told the product was in stock and it was in fact free shipping to my home in NH so I placed the order on April 5th. On April 15th I checked the status of my order and it was listed as canceled. On the 16th I called to confirm what I read. I was told that they sent me an e-mail on the 12th telling me it was canceled. I was told to check my junk folder. I was not sure why I would have to check my junk folder as I got all the other "junk" e-mails from the Tool Nut and still do. Sure enough there it was. If they knew their cancelation e-mail went to junk mail why not get in touch with me. If I hadn't called I could have waited months to find this out. My phone number was listed in my order. Not good customer service at all.

Prompt, honest, and helpful
Both sales and follow up customer service have been outstanding. I cannot speak to the complaints on this site, but my experience has been a very good one. They have been prompt - and thorough - about answering email inquiries as well as phone calls.
Of note, too, is their effort to address backorders; absolutely no misleading info or stall tactics.
I was told by my local Woodcraft that if I could find the FESTOOL Domino I needed anywhere, from any vendor, to buy it due to a 23-40 week backorder on their end. Toolnut had 1 left, and put it on a UPS truck that same day. The sales rep, Bill, also stayed in contact with me for other items I might need, and advised me right away of backorders and availability.
I couldn't be more pleased with the service I've received. I wish more companies were as good.

UPDATE: I received my order today, just 2 days after placing it. It was packaged very well, and all items available were included. Also, Toolnuts sent me an email detailing my backorders, which was great. Again, 5 stars. I'm a happy customer.
UPDATE#2: I had one backorder left from my original order (the Seneca Small Mortise Kit), and it shipped via USPS on Monday (label created Friday). When I called to check on it, I requested it be shipped via UPS. Found out the default for their shipping department is cheapest possible...however, they did put it 3 Day Priority Mail rather than 1st class. It arrived safe and sound today. So, you can request faster shipping, but, I suggest you do it when placing the order. My entire order(s) from start to finish is complete.

Horrible shipping
Horrible shipping. Delivered the tool in its own package with no package or protection. Fairly beaten up and would highly suspect something broken. Ridiculous. Will be returning and buying from a different company.

I placed an order with tool nut it was very quick and easy then when my tool was supposed to ship it got delayed buy a month then when that date approached it was delayed another month I need this tool for my work I know that patience is a virtue but they are wearing extremely thin
Hope you never have to return anything
Fast shipment and easy ordering but if you want to return anything YOU must pay for shipping. This is unacceptable for a major internet tool company. I purchased a packout tool chest and had one on back order. They sent both before I could cancel the backordered item. When I explained that to their customer service they said they only pay return shipping for their mistakes. Finally they sent me a shipping return label but charged me a reduced rate. Still unacceptable, I won't purchase any more tools from them and suggest you don't either.
Shipment-Damaged Festool Kapex Replaced Almost Immediately
I ordered a Festool Kapex miter saw combo package. These are not cheap. When the parcels arrived, I found that the miter table adjustment lever on the saw had been snapped in two. When I contacted The Tool Nut and told them of the damage, I offered to make my own repair if they'd send me a replacement part. Cust. service said that anything strong enough to break that could likely have broken or damaged other parts of the saw, too. Within minutes of my phone call, The Tool Nut cust. service had send me a prepaid shipping label to return the broken saw to them for repair or replacement. Even before they received my returned saw, they had already shipped me a brand new replacement, which promptly arrived by UPS two days later -- and in perfect condition. The Tool Nut service in this case was without equal and earned a well-deserved 5-star rating. I am very happy that I chose to do business with The Tool Nut fellows, and I intend to give them future business.

Ordered a Festool track for my saw on Jan 1 2021
Sent an email out Jan 11 2021 and was told it shipped out and here's the Tracking number no other explanation
Tried to use the tracking number and the USPS site informed me that the item had not been received with the number supplied
I finally got an answer when I filed a complaint with PayPal.
I was told that the postal service was backed and Blah Blah.
How come i can get items thru Amazon in a day from the Postal service, as well as Home Depot, I really wanted to give a small out fit my business like ToolNut.
Well it finally got here last night 1 19 2021 at 7:30
I'm happy its here so I can use it.
In hindsight, I should have checked reviews in regards to this company.
Had I done that i would not be writing this review, as I would not have placed an order with them

Purchased Milwaukee Stacking tool case…
Purchased Milwaukee Stacking tool case on 12/22/2020 and received confirmation and invoice number. Each time I checked the order update it was in processing status. On January 5, 2021 I inquired by phone and could not get a live person so I left a message. They did return my call by email and stated the item was back ordered until February....(FYI, I ordered 2 from Home Depot during the same time period, they had a back order of one week and I received within 2 weeks of placing my order at the end of December 2020) Guess virus and or Milwaukee Tools has made Home Depot the scape goat for their lack of product.
I requested a refund from Toolnut and they sent me an update on virus orders and they indicated Milwaukee Tools is the culprit????
Any way will update the review on the status of the cancellation of the order and refund.

I ordered a black Milwaukee heated jacket from acmetools for my father for Christmas and received no confirmation email or text. I provided both my email and number and didn’t receive either. Money was taken from my account under the name “toolnut.com”. I would list my order number but I never got one.

Excellent business
First time ordering from them and it was super easy and hassle free! My husband contacted them to ask a question after we ordered and the person we spoke to was very helpful and friendly. We received our order quickly and it was neatly packaged. You can’t go wrong ordering from them. Everything was a breeze and the prices are excellent!
Horrible
Horrible. Ordered Milwaukee drill/impact combo on October 9th. Got no updates. Sent an email on the 15th with no reply. Called today the 21st of October and was told the items are on back order till Nov. 9th. All they can do is cancel the order or wait till the 9th to ship. 12 days and they can’t contact me and tell me the items are on back order? Why are they selling items they don’t have in stock? Not willing to rush ship or substitute another item. Guess they don’t care about the customers.
Charged but not delivered..not their problem
I ordered a jigsaw and a large pack of saw blades to fit this specific jigsaw. They were excellent quality blades which i would have been glad to pay the price I did for them if the order had went differently. I allowed plenty of time because of covid and after 2 months they arrived. I was excited for the jigsaw but it never came. After waiting another month with the tracker saying it was still in route I emailed their customer service. They emailed me back after a couple more weeks only to tell me that the jigsaw I had ordered had became unavailable and was not in route and wouldn't be coming. I shouldn't have had to come to them about their inventory mishaps on my dime. I was told they didn't charge me for it but my account showed the money was withdrawn by them. So I now have an expensive set of jigsaw blades that were ordered to fit a jigsaw that never came but I paid for both plus S&H for both. I couldn't believe they hadn't made any attempt to let me know the product I ordered had became unavailable. That happens sometimes ordering online but I've always been immediately notified, not left to wonder and wait for my jigsaw (which also had a few projects waiting on it's arrival) that wasn't coming. Had i been notified I simply would have selected another jigsaw that was compatible with the expensive blades I ordered. Now I have blades without a saw, I would have cancelled or changed it instead of this headache and to be out 60$ for their mistake to top it off. Never again Tool Nut...never..

Cheap F8cks, ordered a tool just like the other guy From Seattle on Thursday 9/17/2020 with free "ground" Shipping. Initially the tracking information gave a due date of the following Wednesday. Log in Wednesday morning now it says Saturday the 26th, needed the tool for a job Friday the 25th so I had to go to Home Depot Thursday night and buy the tool I paid for and needed to complete. Turns out these cheap f7cks sent it through some b@stard love Child of UPS and USPS that apparently neither gives a f8ck about. Check Friday morning just in case it made to the post office (my postman is awesome and arrives early AM) now it says Monday the 28th?!?! Check Saturday the 26th because why the f9ck not, and now it's Tuesday the 29th?!? Called them, they don't care. I figured ground meant ground, Because, you know I'm stupid and expect businesses to act with integrity by saying the actual situation not some slimeball bullsh!t shady version of the truth. I guess I could have paid exorbitant money for expedited shipping making buying the f0cking thing from Home Depot seem like a bargain. They'll be getting their item back if it ever f6cking gets here. Obviously the place is run by geniuses because the few bucks they saved on shipping ultimately lost them any potential future business and earned them a bunch of bad press.

Ordered shipped late Tuesday night, UPS delivery estimate is now for Wednesday of the next week. So advertises 5 days, delivers in 10 in reality. They must be shipping with the absolute cheapest form of shipping, a shame for a $1000 Festool order. Would definitely not recommend.
I needed the tools for Sunday so now I'm going to need a plan B...

Choose them if you have no other and better choice
First of all the response to my review is irrelevant to my review and concerns .- They just wanted to say something to defend themselves and I dont know what they responder talking about!!!! Toolnut has 7 official complaints on ‘Better Business Breau’ and many negative reviews on many different places -the concerns are more less the same .When you have a concern, they are not straight out shady but they cut corners and waste your time a lot You maybe are lucky and have no problem with your order if you don’t care about delivery time or you do not have to contact them but if anything goes wrong , you are out of luck . They ignore your emails and phone calls. They can see your number and if you call them with your concern again after they did not honor their words, they don’t pick their phone , you are not able to leave them a massage either . I recommend only order from them if you absolutely have no other choice and you don’t care if your order arrives late or if whatever they tell you they don’t honor. If it just happens that your order from them and they ignore you like they did with me and they were seeing my number and did not pick up and not answer your emails , then leave them a review with your concern, dispute the charge with your bank , refuse the package or whatever applies to your situation , then you get their attention and they then may just do half of what they are supposed to do but they dont still make effort to make you happy enough to get back to shop from them in future and you miss your deadline. They have a too young of so called manager with 3 total years experience of being manager and not having enough experience to know that it is about business and not his personal pride or ego who does not deal with your concern well. If you want a lot of hassle and late delivery buy from them. There are so many other places that they have the same tools and appreciate your business. Go to bbb.org ( better business Bread) and check their complains and read the negative reviews and make your own judgment

Ordered a Maquita Impact Driver, after 1 week no shipping info, tried calling, kept on hold then told could not take my call. Advertise all emails answered within 24 hrs. NO RESPONSE
Bought impact driver from Amazon, delivered on time as scheduled. Paid a little more, but worth it. STAY AWAY FROM TOOL NUT

I purchase some items but one item was missing they send me but they charged again for the item so I decided to contact customer service and never answer me I was calling for a weeks and nothing so be careful shopping with this company crap so I learned to buy in good companies and never ever I buy anything there I preferred shopping with Home Depot

Worst Customer Service I have ever had
I purchased a Jet Drum sander, outfeed tables and a digital readout on December 2. Had to constantly email to check status. Was told several dates over emails that were never met. Had to call Jet directly three times to find out the status of the order. I did not receive the drum sander until December 26. I received the digital readout on January 3 and canceled the outfeed tables on January 6 since I had not heard anything after several email going unanswered. I will never buy another item from ToolNut and I suggest you do the same.
