Deceptive or not honest business

I bought four sets of pencils which is showing in the picture they put two pencils in each set, after paying $105 for them they sent me only four pencils, I thought it was a mistake in the packaging, so I emailed them politely. I received email informing me that each set includes only one pencil and they said we meant one pencil even though we put two pencils in the picture. I told them could you please send me the other four pencils but unfortunately they Declined my request so I politely asked for return and refund they responded ok but they said I have to pay for all the shipping and packaging fees. I told them it’s not fair that I be responsible of a mistake done by you. You made the mistake of putting two pencils not to be. It looks like they don’t care about being honest or not with a client. Honestly and trustworthiness is not a priority for those people who run this business. Pathetic and unfortunate.

Cheapest prices for high quality tools fast shipping for free

First of all the order was very simple I got an outrageous deal and and was wondering if it was a scam or something because it was so easy , the packing was so good that there's no way anything could have been damaged in the shipping , toolnet.com give me the best quality tools for the best possible price anywhere else I could find and the insurance was the best coverage for the longest term for the best price so you can't beat any shipping was fast and free after a certain amount of money you spend on my assuming , so I just wanted to give Tool Nut a big shout out cuz I'm very impressed and it's hard to impress me believe me !

I ordered a Milwaukee track saw from Tool Nut. Spent $1200 for their most comprehensive set. The 3 packages arrived as scheduled. However, their guide rail bundle arrived by Fed Ex with only (1) 55" guide rail. I immediately contacted Tool Nut and got a response from Caleb who told me to wait 7-10 days to see if the rest of the broken bundle would arrive. the end result is they said I could file a dispute with the credit card company, otherwise there was nothing they would do. Incredible!!

Bought a "new" Dewalt hedge trimmer

Bought a "new" Dewalt hedge trimmer. The box was previously opened. The tool was defective. Tried to return and get money back and or replacement. They did everything possible to make it impossible to return tool. NEVER BUY FROM THESE AXXXXS!!!!!!! I never give up - but after a month of their games I gave up.

I ordered a Milwaukee Vacuum from them

I ordered a Milwaukee Vacuum from them, after I received it and went to use it , it was non functioning. Sent in video of it not working, shipped it back(at my expense) and was issued a refund instead of a new tool. which was fine, but the tool cost 170 and some change while the refund was only 130 and some change. very disappointing for a first time buyer. probably won't order again from them.

You had 2 items on your order, the vacuum which was $129 plus tax and a multi-tool blade kit which made up the rest of the difference with your total. As the vacuum was the only item returned back to us (because it was defective), it was the only item for which you were refunded. I hope this helps to clarify the situation.

We have been purchasing from them for a long time now. We placed orders with them recently. Sandpaper with a grit of 40 and a sander. It is my belief that they do not have the sandpaper in stock. But they claimed they were sending us the sandpaper. They caused us to lose a 20 thousand dollar job because they were liars. We purchased goods from them for more than 15 thousand dollars. Avoid this company at all costs. The lady on the phone was lying to me when she told me that they put the sandpaper in the box.

From reviewing the images, the package was very clearly either damaged or opened and retaped in transit, which would account for missing items that we had initially sent out. I had a terrible experience with this…

I had a terrible experience with this company. I placed an order and it when they per the site and my bank (Navy Fed ) . I called to check on my order and was told my order was cancelled because of issue with third party approval. I was like what is that . They said you can keep trying to order . I don’t what to spend my money with a process like this . Then a lady I spoke with told me all this in detail like it was nothing . Not I am sorry you’re special order did not go thru nothing let me process this for you nothing . I was dissatisfied and disappointed. I studied what tool to buy choose this vendor and was treated like a criminal not a customer. I will spend my days letting all know on all platforms about my experience. I am a small business starter exited to get tools and got the worse mail order experience I ever had .

Ordered a tool from them. They say they shipped it USPS. But I never recieved it. Call customer support. They where no help. And told me to call my bank and dispute the charge.

Spend your money eslewhere...

Worse than the slow order process for instock items is that they lie to thier customers who inquire about thier orders. Dishonest and slow service. I really have no idea how they remain in business. I have spent my first and LAST dollar with them.

you would be a nut to depend on them

I have been buying from toolnut for 6+ years. I have had minor issues in the past but nothing to be unexpected. That has changed recently and have been very discouraged by the CS attitude and the haphazard fulfillment. they are there own worst enemy. they always have an excuse and typically contradict their own assertions. last summer there was an order that they said would ship in one day that took more than 7 and really messed me up - excuse warehouse and fulfillment team has been trying to catch up. the order that absolutely cut it with me a part was broken. the whole item was on back order but other vendors sold the part for $7. Caleb told me it could not fixed and had to be returned, not only had to be returned but had to be returned before they would order the replacement which was 14-28 days back order. I sent it back and Caleb said to expect the credit within 3-5 business days. on the 8th day, I inquired about it and he said that the returns team had been overwhelmed and it would be processed in 7 to 10 days. it’s just there latest excuse.
I have never counted up how much I have spent with tool nut but I am in their higher rewards tier and I won’t buy from them again unless there is significant change. life is too short, money is easier lost than made, and I need a supplier I can depend on. I feel silly buying from the faceless amazon, but reliability is important. when a tool breaks or you run out of something, you need action not excuses.

The Store is ONLINE but we're closed

The site says that they will ship "In Stock" items the same day if the order is placed before noon. I have placed orders the same day for "in Stock" items and have recieved ONE order already. The other is "still processing" although it was "In Stock". FOUR DAYS later. I have also paid extra for "Priority Order Processing" but it really makes no difference. I have called the company and emailed the company. THEY ARE CLOSED ON THE WEEKENDS! I understand it's a family owned business. That's great. However, the site is UP on the weekends so they're OPEN on the weekends. I apologize for the rant but I do expect MORE from online stores than the one down the street. I am not happy with toolnut.com (tool.com dba toolnut.com). These are not $50 purchases. They sell very expensive woodworking equipment from very high-profile manufacturers. Their customer service and communications are lacking.

Buyer Beware. This company doesn't give returns.

How can this company improve you ask. Well for starters they could hold true to their 30 day no hassle return policy....What a joke. I tried to return a vest still in the package mind you 1 day after I received it. The company said all sales were final but according to the Milwaukee company they should have returned my money as it was within a 30-day window. a company that doesn't stand behind their policies deserves a poor review. If for whatever reason, there was an exception with this particular item. The consumer should have been informed of no return in the item description.

Absolutely Horrible Experience

I was looking around online to replace my tool belt since I'm getting ready to be released to go back to work so I came across tool nut and seen that they carried the particular tool belt I was looking for so I decided to place a order with them, yeah I wish I would have just ordered from where I bought my last tool belt because I placed order on the 14th and after not receiving anything from them for several days I checked status of my order and noticed that my order is on hold for some reason I've contacted tool nut inquiring on what's going on with my order and haven't heard anything back from them I'm giving them til Monday then I'm cancelling order and filing a complaint with BBB because this is ridiculous

The absolute worst online purchasing…

The absolute worst online purchasing experience I’ve ever had.
After waiting 5 weeks for a preorder to ship, I was sent tracking info that said a label had been created. After not updating for 13 days I sent an email inquiring about the status of my order. They blamed it on the FedEx driver, saying that he didn’t scan it.
Zach ensured me he would look into it and update me on the status. Another week goes by with no response. I sent them another message that was completely ignored.
I’m currently waiting for a chargeback dispute with PayPal since they won’t just refund the money or bother responding. It’s been over two months now, and a month since my order supposedly shipped. Zach is a liar and the company he represents is pure garbage. Do not purchase anything from them under any circumstance.
