I have just ordered all my tiles and fittings from Tiles and Stone. Freya was extremely helpful through the whole process making many suggestions to help the process along and also to help us save money. Her knowledge is amazing with regard to all their products and she is so helpful and courteous making the process easy. I would recommend Tile and Stone in Chelmsford to anyone who is thinking of giving their bathrooms an uplift or refurb. Thank you Freya, we will definitely be back for our next project 😄.

What a pleasant experience buying tiles from these guys. Very attentive but not ‘pushy’, a good knowledge of the products and easy to deal with. All the staff are polite and helpful with good communication skills. I’ll be back for more great service

Very helpful on the phone and managed to supply a tile to match the ones in the house which was damaged, enabling me to repair the damaged tile to look like new, in a just moved into house 5 Star would use again.

Revised review. Initially I gave only 1 star as my tiles had never arrived - I was totally unimpressed. But, since then they've apologised by email, explained they'd missed my online order (not sure how that happened) and then telephoned to explain when my tiles will arrive. They are issuing a full refund to me as well as sending my tiles. The increase to 4 stars is for their customer service when something went wrong - it has been excellent.

I recently purchased some Listello chrome trims from Tile and stone Direct.
When they arrived they had been bent by FedEx during shipment.
I phoned Tile and Stone Direct and explained and by 12am the same day two replacements had been sent out.
Excellent customer service and the product was first class!

I will be using them again.

We were worried we couldn’t find the quarry tiles we needed, to match our originals laid in about 1950. We searched the internet. Our local tile shop had them! Knowledge of staff and delivery - all good
