After spending time to research the providers on the market all offering similar support packages I turned to customer reviews and the one who stood out to me and my family was HelpAlert and I’m happy to say we are very happy with their support looking after our elderly mother. We have had a few false alarms due to our mothers fidgeting but the response time is very quick and the operator is always sympathetic.

Excellent! Really pleased with every aspect! Feel secure with watch on my wrist, it goes with me everywhere. Really impressed by speed with which HelpAlert answered my call!

Knowing I have the ability to call for help when necessary is very reassuring and gives me courage.

Customer service has been excellent, both friendly, responsive and helpful. I ordered the wrist watch as I didn't want the stigma of the pendant around my neck. The reason for only 4 stars is to do with the watch. I ordered the skin coloured fabric strap for softness. The strap has worked well but can stain under certain circumstances and the magnetic buckle can dig into my wrist if I am careless. The heart and pedometer options work but tapping their display icons can produce erratic results as the icons are often unresponsive. I don't feel comfortable wearing the watch in the shower or in bed. I leave it beside the bed in the event of an emergency.

Very efficient, easy to contact and super sympathetic people and systems

First class alarm. We purchased an annual alarm package for our mum & she finds it very easy to use. I was particularly impressed when we did an initial test call & an operator answered within seconds & asked my mum (by her name) if she could help & if everything was okay?). My mum has dropped it twice, testing out the falls alert on the alarm lol, but was able to cancel it quickly by pressing the button .

The easy to use website made choosing the right product for my elderly mother very quick and straightforward. We also got the chance to trial the pendant before making the final purchase which was a great help. The pendant arrived very promptly and it was very easy to start using it immediately. My mother was quite nervous initially but after doing the test run, and speaking to a very friendly and helpful lady, we are delighted with the confidence it gives her to go about her day to day life.

I knew I needed to get an alarm after I took ill and no-one was around to help me. I settled upon HelpAlert as they offered everything I knew I needed, plus they have “Which” approval. Though I have not needed to call HelpAlert since I’ve received my alarm, I’ve occasionally pressed the alarm button in error and there has always been a quick and friendly response with no criticism for my calling in error, and I am confident that should I need someone to come, they will absolutely be here for me.

Ordered a Personal Alarm Watch for my mum. During testing and setup we had some questions for the HelpAlert Team, which they answered in a friendly and efficient manner.

The whole process gave us real confidence that in the alarm watch and the support around it.

I ordered a HelpAlert Alarm watch for my wife who has had some bad falls. The helpalert team were very helpful and the watch soon arrived. My wife found it too large for her wrist so I sent it back and ordered a pendant alarm instead, which again arrived very promptly. Throughout, HelpAlert have been very efficient, friendly and reassuring.

In hard times HelpAlert were supportive and understanding. They made the difficult easy. Alas, time moves on and my relative has been compelled to move to a Care Home. Closing the account was easy and a big heads up to Ollie, a star of front line service and we shared a much needed laugh.

I have just taken delivery of HelpAlert and am delighted with the experience. It was easy to have a personal chat with one if the advisers, and I discovered that as far as possible calls from clients are answered by the same adviser on each call to maintain clarification of information given. My experience with the watch I was sent to try was so good that I decided immediately to proceed with getting one! My GoPlus watch was sent on a 14 day free trial. It arrived promptly, already set up and easy to use. The step counter and heart monitor are a bonus. When ordering I was able to speak to a person who was really helpful. I had said I preferred an elasticated strap and they fitted the trial watch with that strap. When I tried the fall alert tracker it needed a very hard fall, but as soon as I flagged this up they changed the sensitivity and it now works perfectly. For ease of use and helpful staff I would highly recommend my Help Alert watch.

Terrible service
I payed extra for the 7 day battery life, it only lasted 51 hours. Returned it, so far 2 weeks waiting for refund still not got my money back.

I am so impressed with HelpAlert. From the start, two years ago, the personal service (a real person at the end of the line/email!) has been helpful, prompt, knowledgeable and caring. They go above and beyond to help out. For example, the watch developed a problem just before we were relying on it when we were going away and HelpAlert organised a replacement, configured and ready to go, in double-quick time. I recommend the company highly.

Excellent customer service! We're still on the 14 day trial - but my father in law feels far more confident wearing his pendant after a nasty fall (before I got it!). It's a great relief for him and for all his family!
