When I was ordering the jeans somehow in my cart it doubled up so I had paid for two pair of jeans. I contacted them but they said that the order had already gone through and they could not stop it. This was with a load of rubbish. When I receive the jeans they were way too small so I decided to return them. Even though they advertise full refund, don’t be fooled. They offered me 10%, 20% and then 30% off the price as a refund. I declined these offers and I asked for the information to return same. To post to China was cheaper than what they offered. Then when your parcel gets to China, it will never leave customs and you will never get your money back. SO DO NOT BUY FROM THOMPSON – SYDNEY.

I am very disappointed with this company. It is NOT in Sydney but China. I ordered a top 1st October and realised I had accidently ordered 2. Immediately emailed them to cancel the second top and received an email that it was already processed but I could easily return the second one and get a credit. However, the parcel didn't arrive till 21st October. The top was not as described so I sent the company an email to find out the return process so I could receive a credit.
That was when I learnt the company was in China and that my cost of returning it was quite large. They offered to let me keep the tops and they would refund 10%, then 20% then 30% which I reluctantly accepted. That has been now credited my account. Not really a satisfactory result.

I wanted to share a serious warning regarding a recent experience I had this company that turned out to be fraudulent.
I purchased a pair of sport sneakers, and although I was debited, I was only given a fake order and tracking number. After a few days, I was informed that my parcel had been delivered, but I never received it. Upon following up with DHL, I discovered that the tracking number provided did not match my parcel.
I have reached out to the seller multiple times but have yet to receive any response.
Please do not purchase anything from this company to avoid being scammed like I was.

SCAM COMPANY
These scammers go under several names, at least 3 of them end in "Oxford" or Whitmore London or Bexley London, probably many more. Don't get scammed like I did.

I saw an ad on Facebook and received the goods yesterday.. very disappointed. The shirt looks more like something a clown might wear than the nice one in the ad.. shipping delays.... poor quality.. let the buyer beware is true however the only way we can bring companies like this down is to stop buying from them.

I am so sorry to hear that people are still being fooled by this company as I was. I am still trying to get a refund via my CC company and that is since early January. I did return the dreadful items but the parcel came back this week as the address in Canad had refused to accept it. Even they don't want these shoddy clothes.

scammed, and took weeks to deliver bad fakes which aren't even any good for cleaning the cat door. didn't spot the giveaway - the models did not have any headshots. If you see a similar ad pls put it on trust pilot

I’d like to agree with the lady who said she wanted to give a minus 10 rating, and then other reviews that said ‘it’s a scam’. Do not go near this site!
My order took for ever to arrive, despite repeated contact with the company, and when the goods were finally dispatched & the tracking was sent I realised the goods were coming from China. Should have realised then - but you always want to give the benefit of the doubt. Items were nothing like the images, and of really inferior quality; (what does this say for Chinese goods as a whole … ?)
Heard an article in the radio since about exactly the same sort of scam sites springing up all over the place. Thing to do is a) check reviews before ordering,
b) check indicated delivery dates; if long delay in delivery be suspicious,
c) check returns policy, and if no address or contact telephone number, be very very wary.
d) check terms and conditions; if they state that no returns are accepted if items vary from images, DO NOT BUY.
Waste of time and money. Might as well bin the items.

I would like to give -10 absolutely appalled by what I received. I paid for ladies trainers online. Got no order confirmation or tracking. Hence no order number to contact them with. The trainers looked great on the picture. Not what I got ! They smell of adhesive and are made of the tackiest plastic. Dirty where glued and not a single label inside or motif. No paperwork or returns form included. 🤔 my advice to anyone looking at the clothes with a notion to buy.. steer well clear it's all a scam.

I spent over £500 ordering what was sold as cashmere, only to receive acrylic goods with the labels cut out.

Its a scam. Don't waste time corresponding with them. I received a full refund from Barclaycard

order £255 which arrived in five weeks. Needed for Christmas arrived late. Return address on the parcel said return to Heathrow airport address. They asked for Canada. None of this is shown on the purchase page that returns are to Canada. Products terrible quality. I returned to Heathrow - proof of delivery and no refund. SCAM

This company is fraudulent. They advertise cashmere goods and send rubbish. I have no intention of returning their goods to Canada because of the cost and their failure to produce a legitimate address.
I am endeavouring to get 50% of my purchase price back but have so far failed.

Update on the Thompson Oxford SCAM:

I was also given an address in Canada
8882 170 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5T 4J2, Canada
NO COMPANY NAME and no phone number.
They claim they are successfully receiving returns at this address.

When I asked for a contact phone number this is what they said: ‘Since we don't have a phone number, you can use zeros as the default phone number.’

I asked for proof the address is bone fide before I spend a fortune in posting - I did not get one … they say the address is ‘accurate and active’. And yet on Google maps it is not a specific company.

How can I believe them … they said the cardigan was ‘luxury cashmere’ and when it came it was 95% Polyester and a shabby badly sown item.

The Halifax is being helpful.

Had no idea was a scam and been battling for the past month and now no response....the return address given 8882 170 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5T 4J2, Canada is a mall with no store under that name...I wish someone would post here the name they operate under in that mall

Poor quality materials, no labels, promised refund never materialised. Check out the web-site front page footer before parting with any money - there is no business address, only an email, which is a good indicator of a scam.

SCAM...
DO NOT BUY anything from this company. After many emails asking for an address for returns, they gave a return address in Edmonton, Canada. This makes it more expensive to return the goods, with no confidence that I would be reimbursed once goods were received, than the purchase price of the goods themselves. The goods, when they arrived, were cheap and awful and far from the well designed website and photography attracting you to buy at a 'closing down' price.

Cheap tat, not at all as advertised. However, at least I received the items, perfect for gardening chores!

This company is not what it seems -- I believe it to be a Chinese-based drop-shipping organisation -- they buy up incredibly cheaply-made clothing, dishonestly claim that it was marked down from a very high 'original' price, and then make returns/refunds virtually impossible. The one positive is a polite customer service function, which I think is AI powered. It has no power, though, to fix situations, make refunds, etc. They just string you along, then ghost you after a while. A colossal waste of money and time!
