Thank you AA for helping an elderly friend of mine today who suffered a pot hole tyre blow out.
She found the automated answering system a bit of a challenge but the operators were patient and helpful. Ross, the AA mechanic came and was fantastic, kind, efficient and professional. He got her a new tyre, at a good price, and she was back on the in an hour.
Excellent service.

Great company, and a great price

impossible to cancel auto renewal. No phone no. no email, just chat, which appears to be unmanned by humans. Having got past the bot, I have been sitting for 30minutes waiting to be connected to a human! Appalling customer service in the name of "efficiency". Just give me a phone no or an email address.

Simple and quick process to get car insurance and breakdown cover.

Easy and straightforward to navigate and use. Details of policy explained very well. Totally worth switching over for a great price offering the same cover from a competitor. Recommended

A better price. A clear online site. What more could I ask. Let's hope I do not need the actual insurance itself but Im sure the service will be good.

The AA provided a good price, they're a trusted name, and the purchase process was easy. However, they have now contacted me requesting an ID check within 5 days, or the insurance will not be provided. I have two big problems with this:
1) The requirement for an ID check is NOT clearly stated upfront before sign up.
2) The ID check is provided by "trusted partner" Mitek Systems which as I write this has a Trustpilot score of 1.2.

I'm not going to hand over my ID data to a company with such a low trust score, and therefore I have no choice but to cancel my insurance with the AA.

I spoke with Karl to take out home insurance. He was very helpful and professional. And I took out my house and contents insurance with Silver AA through Karl and paid with my debit card. Price was very good and meets my requirements.

Very easy process not a hint of internet trouble just a clean transaction

Very competitive price for house insurance - wasn’t the cheapest quote but better than our renewal price and I didn’t want to buy an ‘online’ policy where you can’t speak to anyone.
We wanted to pay on the phone and the advisor was very helpful and sorted the policy and payment for us quickly and efficiently.

Straight forward, easy

It was quick and easy to take the insurance out

Straight forward process no messing no time wasting . You don’t have hundreds of questions to fill in like other insurers would recommend to everyone .

We chose AA through Confused dot com but spoke to the AA lady at the call centre because the AA website wouldn't let us do it online.
She was extremely thorough and it turned out there were items we hadn't filled in from the website.
She also went through the personal possessions with us and explained it fully
Ok so we had to wait 30 minutes to get though, but the time she spent going through the policy said that was the reason.
