Terra Nova Equipment Recensioni

Southern Cross 1

Had my tent For just over a year now and used it probably about four or five times in which I have had to send it back for new peg out points. Repair wasn't great either, very untidy. Thought everything was ok now but water is ingressing on the tabs where the inner connects to the fly. Really poor quality for a tent with a retail value of £700 now reduced to £490. Not worth that imho. For this type of money you can buy much better. Very disappointed.

Easy purchase process and delivery within 2 days by a happy smiling courier.
Looked online to watch a You Tube video to get instructions and did a successful trial pitch in my back garden.
Build quality is good .
No instructions on fitting the footprint but I worked it out and left it fitted to the tent so that I can pitch it as one for convenience.
Update July 2024 I used the tent for a 3 week hiking and camping trip to NW Highlands where it was tested by torrential rain and some very windy conditions.
The tent coped brilliantly and is everything that I hoped it would be.Plenty of headroom and ventilation that kept the tent free of condensation.
10/10 for design and build quality.

Fast delivery and good communication

Top notch service. And then the kit arrived. WOW

Ordering online very easy. Tent arrive promptly. No problems. Haven't used the tent yet - Southern Cross 1 - but looking forward to getting into the hills with it.

Very fast sended my parts voor replacing pole Hoolie 3.
(Not the same but O.K. for lenght.)
Shipping expensive...

Had my Quasar tent for 15 years and the best thing I've ever bought. Served me well all over the world, just lately on expedition to Tajikistan. On return from that purchased a new fly sheet from Terra Nova, they'd notified me they were back in stock and I received it within 2 days of purchasing. All round excellent service and nice people to deal with. 5 stars.

Wild Country Hoolie 3 ETC with footprint.
4 nights in Western Lake District with rain for 3 days, strong wind and rain for the last night.
negatives - water dripping in from the 4 front door tie backs, tried seam seal but still dripped.
Rain runs off roof into side doorway when opened, inside of doorway gets soaked.
Pros - overall a very robust tent, plenty of space for gear in vestibule and inside sleeping area.

I ordered painlessly online one day and it arrived by courier the next afternoon. Talk about first class service Excellent. I had the same great experience when I ordered my tent from them earlier this year! Thank you guys.

Fantastic service and speedy delivery. Everything was great and the products are top quality.

Very happy with my purchase

Great products in a well
Laid out site make shopping easy. Quality is first class and with super fast delivery why even consider an alternative.

I've given my new Southern Cross 2 a short, two night test. It is an easy tent to pitch, and I am sure it will be straightforward to pitch in a gale. The two porches are large giving me plenty of room to store my kit. It was very warm last weekend, and I was comfortable without opening the doors to get a breeze going at night.

Super fast delivery. Quality items. Will buy from them again.

The voyager tent is great BUT the poles are very lightweight and will break in the wind. When I tried to replace a single pole, it would cost $154.00 USA. That's insane.

The only downside is a massive morning mist condensation on the inner side of the outer shell. And consequently packing completely wet tent.
After two weeks in the use is too early to talk about a durability or a built quality etc. Overall satisfied customer
