I had a very positive first experience…

I had a very positive first experience with Tammy & Benjamin. I purchased the Tara bag, which is beautifully made and feels like a high-quality piece. Based on that, I confidently ordered a second bag, the Alexia.

I absolutely love the shape and colour of the Alexia, but unfortunately the quality did not live up to expectations. After only about two weeks of light use (not even daily), the logo had already started to fade noticeably. For a bag priced at over €500, this was extremely disappointing.

I contacted customer service and shared photos taken at that early stage. While they initially agreed to repair the bag, they later refused, claiming the bag showed “severe signs of extended use.” This was frustrating, as the issue with the logo was already clearly visible within the first two weeks and had nothing to do with prolonged wear.

After I pushed back, they eventually agreed to carry out the repair. However, the experience since then has been even more disappointing. My last correspondence from them was on 1 March, and despite multiple follow-up emails asking for updates, I have received no response. I currently have no idea when, or if I will get my bag back.

It’s also worth noting that I never asked for a refund or exchange, only a repair of what appears to be a faulty logo. Given the price point, I don’t think this is an unreasonable expectation.

It’s a real shame, as their designs are genuinely beautiful and my first purchase gave me high hopes. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don’t feel the quality or aftercare justifies the price.

We would like to sincerely apologise for the confusion and the length of time required to handle your request.

In the meantime, your Alexia bag has been repaired and re-shipped to you.

By way of explanation, the bag needed to be returned to our production atelier in Italy in order to rework the logo properly. This is a particularly delicate operation, as restamping over an existing logo does not allow for a clean or lasting result. A slightly revised stamp had to be created specifically to ensure a refined finish, which required additional time and craftsmanship.

This type of intervention remains exceptional, and we chose this approach to ensure the most appropriate result for your piece.

We also regret the lack of updates during this period, which led to confusion. This is not the experience we aim to offer.

Thank you again for your patience and for your balanced feedback regarding both your Tara and Alexia bags.

Ne vous inquiétez pas

Bien rassuré par le service Client notamment l'agent de la boutique de Paris qui a fait le lien avec le service d'expédition. Malgré les soucis liés au service transporteur, mes appels et mes mails furent nombreux, mais ont toujours eu une réponse 😊.
Commande effectuée et livrée au bout d'une semaine et demi : produit en parfait état.
Les commentaires m'avaient effrayé mais il semble que le service ce soit amélioré.

Lors de l’achat du sac

Lors de l’achat du sac, il t’a écrit qu’en 48 heures j’allais recevoir ma commande.

Il a fallu plus de 10 jours pour envoyer le colis, et j’ai manqué la surprise de la Saint-Valentin.

On m’a simplement proposé un remboursement…

C’est un peu facile… Première expérience avec la marque.

Dommage, le produit a globalement l’air d’être de bonne qualité!

Duty charge for item not received

I ordered a bag and when it was delayed, I canceled the order. The money was refunded to me.However, although the invoice said there would be no duty charges or taxes, I received a bill from FedEx for $53.25. I have been unable to change that charge because FedEx requires an account number. I have requested payment for these taxes from Tammy and Benjamin and we’ll see if I receive it.

We completely understand how confusing recent US customs procedures can be. Please rest assured that we have contacted FedEx on our side regarding your returned parcel. Since they managed the return themselves, they are in a position to cancel the import duty charges, and you should not be required to pay them.

As noted on our site, these charges are handled by local authorities, which is exactly why we provide the 15% discount code, that you applied to your order. We created that specific discount to help our US customers offset these exact import costs so that the total price remains fair.
We aim to be as transparent as possible about how international shipping works, and we're glad we could provide that upfront savings to help cover the bill from the carrier.
