Same boring food In your Cumbernauld restaurant....
Had to clean our table, thankfully I do carry wipes but omg!!!! The dirt that came off was disgusting!! The side edge of the table had what looked like dried in potato. I did say to the waitress but she just said ' oh right' This place could really do with an upgrade in both food choices and decor!!

Micker Brook - Cheadle
So this year we decided to go to the Micker Brook for our Christmas Dinner.

We arrived on time and sat down at the table. It took over half an hour for a drinks order to be taken, and a further 15 minutes to get the drinks. This was still faster than the service for our starters. When they finally arrived, the cold starters were, well, cold. The soup also fell into the same category and the Brie I ordered was cooked, but maybe not on the same day.
The main was a carvery, nothing special, but OK. I decided at this point to order some more drinks, but the bar had closed!! There were still people waiting to get their main meal at this point. Credit where credit is due, the guy served me, but that was it.
We finally got out desserts, I had crunchy Christmas pudding, nice (not), and the other desserts had obviously been sat out for several hours.
Would we go there again? NEVER!!!
This is not the fault of the staff that served us, they did their best in a really difficult situation. Bit the owners and managers should hang their heads in shame. Money grabbing and not a thought for the customers and staff who had to endure it.

Can I just say the service I have received and I am still receiving is the worst I have ever experienced. On the 8th October me and my family went out to an event and then decided to finish the event with some food. So we thought we will try somewhere new and picked the place mentioned above, can I also say it will be the last time we pick that place. We went in to not be told about number plate system but my other half saw a sign this was point one. We then got sat down and got told to order off the app which we did. All paid and waiting for the food. To then have a colleague come out and say we don’t know why you weren’t told but the chef is only doing carvery tonight. None of us fancied a carvery so even know we wasted our evening already we just said we shall take a full refund. Well all the colleagues are flapping about because no one knows how to do a refund. One of them reckons she knew how to do it but bare in mind they all panicked didn’t fill me with confidence. So we left. Two weeks had passed and no refund so rang them to be told to wait abit longer. Have checked my bank 3 weeks later and still no money nor in my families.
So not only was it probably my worst experience ever and ruined my evening what made it worse is I don’t get a lot of free time.
4 weeks later finally get a phone call from the manager who says we weren't charged and was refunded on the same night after explaining my bank statement doesn't show that. So then i had to drive over which took an hour in my own time and use my fuel to prove my statement. When i proved to the manager what my statement showed he said that is fine i have seen it i will have an answer for you by the Sunday. Sunday comes, Monday comes no call. This is on the fifth week now so i rang the restaurant to find the manager is on holiday. After this i went straight to Mitchell and butlers to raise this complaint again. Finally got back through to the same manager on the 6th week to be told he has to do refund in cash as their system doesn't let them any other way and me and my family also has to be present. So now this Saturday i have to go out of my way with my family to get money im owed when its not my fault. I dont know whos going to reimburse me for my time and fuel. At least hopefully come this saturday 20/11/21 we will have the refund and it will be closed. But no way on earth would i set foot or deal with this company again. Never received a service or experience like it!!!!!

Doncaster Highwayman is great for kids with the kids club house and you can order food from your table. Took my grandsons there Claire the kids club worker was great putting candles on our cake we bought.
I recommend to go here for a Sunday carvery too great food and great kids play area.

Me, my wife and grandson fancied a carvery. We hadn't been to the Peacehaven one for some time due to the poor quality of the food generally. Thought it may have improved but it hadn't. My wife and I had the carvery. The turkey was almost bare but the carver continued to take off 'flakes' of chicken rather than slices. It was dry. I opted for the beef but had so much gristle I couldn't eat it all. My grandson ordered a chicken burger with chips. He could not bite into it as it was so overcooked and dry. I pointed this out to the very kind waitress who asked if we would like a replacement. We declined and stated we would not pay for it. She came without an apology from the kitchen but confirmed we would not be charged.
So nothing positive to write I'm afraid.

The Barley Mow on Hayling Island was a nice pub. Visited there twice last week as the first time was great. The first visit, Bacon double cheeseburger with chips was to die for. However, the second visit was disappointing. Fish and chips with garden peas, all cold. The flavour was there, granted, but not nice when it is cold. Even the peas were shriveled. Oh, and nobody came to our table to ask if everything was ok, and they weren't very busy on both occasions. As long as you get hot food it is ok. Just be careful what you order.

Rude staff. Food very standard at best and they ran out of Turkey and kids pizza so ordered normal size pizza for two young kids. Asked for side plates for them but they have a stupid rule that doesn't allow plates for kids as they might break the plates. Avoid this place!! Much better Carvery Restaurants out there.

I’m a big fan of Stonehouse Carveries and have enjoyed regular weekly visits for years at the Radford Bank in Stafford. They get five stars from me! You can imagine my disappointment then, when I tried Ashbank Stonehouse in Stoke. I’m doing volunteering at Stoke hospital till late for a few weeks, so looked on the net for where the nearest Stonehouse was, intending to use it regularly. I got my carvery and drink and sat down where I could watch the telly, only to be told that I had to move to another part of the building to eat (no signs to that effect). I found another telly in this other part, ate my meal and sat with my drink, watching the TV. The staff were cleaning up around me, even as I was eating, then one told me to move back to where I’d been originally, to finish my drink! Thought this might be just a one-off, so went back the next evening and ordered the same. Just as the girl was dealing with it, another sidled up and said the carvery (right beside the bar) was closed! Stafford have never closed the carvery before 9pm. This lot say they stop food at 8am. Again no signs and the food was there and the lights on etc. When I’ve been a few minutes late at Stafford, they have always sorted me out. Not Ashbank!! Anyway, they’ve done me a good turn, as I stumbled last night across a great carvery, much nearer to the hospital, at the New Florence, Lightwood Road, Longton. Five stars plus!!!! The food is better (much wider choice of veg and the Yorkshires and gravy are great!) and not all dried up under the heat lamps like Ashbank’s was. Not only that, it was 30p cheaper!! New Florence don’t care where you sit, don’t hassle you and they are open till 11pm as well, so you can enjoy a drink after your meal, without the Ashbank jobsworths moving you around all the time! Absolutely no contest!!!! I would have commented direct to Stonehouse, but they make it as difficult as they can to do so (draw your own conclusions) and want to attach all their cookies to you if you try (this breaches GDPR, as they don’t have a simple button to reject unwanted cookies, but pass you round the houses via instructions on doing it in your browser - ie making it as hard as they can!). Stonehouse is Mitchell and Butlers, so check before you visit. New Florence is Greene King - top firm!!

I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough! Mark, the manager, and his team are very friendly and efficient. Food is always piping hot and of excellent standard. A big thank you to all the staff!

Popped into Bells of St. Mary's a Stonehouse pub and carvery. It was breakfast time so we paid for their all you can eat buffet style breakfast. We have had this before and found it to be acceptable standard breakfast fare. We headed up to the breakfast bar and grabbed a plate to begin our self service choice. The plate was filthy and still had food on it. Rather concerned and a bit disgusted we quickly put the plate to one side just as a lady from the kitchen came out. We explained the plates were not clean. She was very nice and explained it would be better if we washed them by hand!. She then proceeded to go through the two stacks of plates which had come out of the dishwasher and had been put out ready for guests. It took a good five minutes for her to find a clean one for us to use. We had to use a paper towel to wife the plates over as they were still dripping wet. This is not exceptable to be giving customers dirty wet plates to use especially as we are still living with Covid-19!. We then went to get our coffee cup filled only to find these were dirty aswell! We had to go to the toilet to wash them in the sink as we had no confidence in the staff by this point!. Please check your plates,cups and cutlery before you use them!! We will have to think twice about going here again. Feeling a bit ill just thinking about it now!.

So I previously made a complaint about a meal I had in June I received a few rude emails back and then was blocked ... so I have been back to thox restaurant number occasions since with family and friends to arrive yesterday 13.07.2021 at 17.20 to be told I was refused entry due to complaints I had made previously in June so I had to be embarrassed in front of my partner because I had complained about a meal a month before absolutely ludicrous .... to make some feel like that who also suffers with anxiety and mental health issues is absolutely disgusting , eps6 after I had already been in there numerous times since the complaint

Windmill Denton great food and staff are always very helpful and considerate in even in this pandemic times. The cook Mags really looks after you and makes you feel at home with a big smile. We go every Wednesday and really enjoy it. We can fully recommend quality food and service.

Amazing experience at the tramway on Thursday evening from the start was shown to our table given Menus and cutlery ,a lovely waitress came over and took our order of drinks ,she was very polite and asked if we needed a few minutes to choose our food order which we did she returned a few minutes later and took our order ,food came out all hot and all together and was very good ,plates were moved off the table very quickly and our waitress asked if we wanted puddings or more drinks which of course we did ,we really enjoyed our experience here and will definitely return

From entering to leaving the Tramway in Cleveleys was not the best experience ever and will not be returning.

Greeted at the door, shown to table, no menus given. Waitress came to take drink order, we repeated this three times to her and the order was still wrong. Missing drink and wrong drink! Still no menus. A other waitress came to the table to take our order but obviously no menus so a further 20 minutes wait to give order.

Ordered pizza for our son, he's had it before and loved it. Pizza came and it was a small child's pizza and it tasted completely different and he wouldn't eat it. No one came to ask if everything was okay whilst eating. Waitress came to take dessert order and left us half way through and it was a further 20 minutes until she returned and had forgotten what we wanted!!! Ordered and all of a sudden out of stock on one item, which was in stock 20 minutes earlier as we saw the items being brought out!

Contacted the manager at the Tramway to be basically called a liar. If this waitress is one of your experienced waitresses, you seriously need to re train her ASAP. We were basically put in a corner and forgotten about!

I will not return to the Tramway in Cleveleys.

We visit the Peacehaven stonehouse many times and never disappoints. Great range of foods and carvery. Service level is fantastic and a special mention to Eileen who goes above and beyond to ensure our visit is a pleasant experience. Considering the difficult times with Covid , stonehouse Peacehaven are following government guidelines and yes things are different but we are eating out and having a lovely meal, thats all that matters. Well done to Peacehaven Stonehouse and look forward to our next visit

Had a lovely meal at the Cock and Crown carvery was delightful. Great service too. Special thank you to Colin who sorted out our deserts after a minor problem with the app.

This has to be the worse place for food I have ever eaten, veg isnt fresh, stuffing something from 1955 packet made. Absolutely terrible. The best part was the tap water and the Pepsi.
The best thing they could do is charge more but get a decent chef. Staff pleasant and helpful, but the food is rubbish!

The jug & bottle had a meal on Sunday 30th May 21, very good meal & they seem to have it running quite well order at the table, which is working very well.

Our first (by chance) visit to the Stonehouse in Wolverton and so impressed with how beautiful the place is, how big menu is and how great prices are. Most importantly, very considerate staff. They walk around in a hot day bringing bowls of water for all the dogs without people even asking. Food is awesome of course so will be visiting this place often now
