Scott at Sterling home outlet centre is…
Scott at Sterling home outlet centre is the principle reason for the review.
I was buying a venjakob ex display unit and he went above and beyond.
He was helpful, courteous and knowledgable of course , and put up with an unnecessary level of cheek from me.
A complete gent with excellent customer care and consideration.
As member of staff, an asset to the business. He sorted out tricky delivery needs, and achieved some more discount on the product. Fabulous.

Great purchases at great prices
My daughter had just purchased a new house, and I decided to take them to Sterling in Tillicoultry. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the size of the place – it’s like an Aladdin’s cave, with great-looking furniture and lovely staff.
I used to go to the Dundee branch in when it was there, and I had a chat with Ally and Scott, the manager, who couldn’t do enough for you. I really miss the Dundee branch.
Anyway, I couldn’t believe it when I saw Scott, the manager of the outlet – he recognised me! What a great lad and what a manager to run your business. He was very busy and knowledgeable, and he sorted my daughter out with everything she needed, from settees to beds and coffee tables – all at a fraction of the price of any other shop or business I’ve ever used.
And this is quality furniture, not your run-of-the-mill rubbish. The great thing is she gets it all delivered in 10 days – how’s that for service?
Well, thanks again, Scott. My daughter is very happy and is looking forward to moving into her new house. I’m sure Scott, who is an asset to Sterling, he will go a long way within this company.
I can’t wait to come back myself and purchase more quality items.

Purchased items ordered a week or so ago alteady dropped by £200 even though it was allegedly already at sale price.

While the item was already discounted at the time you ordered, further reductions may have been applied as part of a later promotion.

Warm welcome at Sterling
We were greeted by Elaine on entering the shop. She made sure we knew where to find the items we were looking for and was both friendly and helpful.
Sales staff Nikki and Gordon helped with our purchases and again were informative without being pushy. We bought a new bed and sofas having found exactly what we needed and at a good price. Previous purchases have lasted 20+ years such is the quality of Sterling’s products so we had no qualms about buying again.
Altogether a really good experience with excellent staff, Elaine particularly is a real asset, so nice to be warmly greeted by someone not actively trying to sell you something. She has a lovely way with people and enhanced our shopping experience.

Good choice and staff in store are good but.....
The people in store are very helpful but appear to be let down by the warehouse. We ordered a mattress and protector but only the mattress was delivered. The protector had to be chased up. When I went to collect my rug they had misplaced the offcuts part and the best guess was it might be at the warehouse.

Front of house experience
We visited the store on Sunday and were greeted by a lovely lady called Elaine, she not only explained the layout of the store and told us everything we needed to know on entry she looked out for us during our visit. Wow, great service and beautiful products!
Wow! We were already happy with the service and friendly staff but hadn't quite decided on which sofa we wanted to buy. We were just about to walk out the store when we decided to look in a different area (from fabric to leather). As we wandered around, Barry approached us and asked if he could help. When we described what we were looking for, he knew exactly what to show us and he was spot on! Not only was the sofa perfect for us, it came in fabric and had extra features that made it even more special. We bought the sofa on the spot! We were thrilled with our experience and Barry made it even better.

The largest store of it's kind UK wide.
We travel for 1hr 45mins to come to Sterling home Tillicoultry. We are never disappointed. The staff, the cleaners, the cafe are so happy, pleasent and welcoming every time we visit. The service is second to none. Amy Ireland went over and above to help us while purchasing 4 chairs. We also purchased plants a reed defuser, cards and a wooden spoon. We came home delighted with our day at Sterling Home. One big family x

After 8 reviews of the problems with…
After 8 reviews of the problems with the 2 suites and to be told a 4000 pound suite after the years warranty is out you have no help and remaining with the payments. Where has customer service went.The phone calls were no help.
Done this and this has failed 4000 pounds downs the drain
