First class service from Jules and her team! Offered great advice on the best places to camp, Piper was a luxury van compact but equipped with everything you need. We loved every part of the experience and the weather was in our favour 😎 Morar Sands was a big highlight the beaches are stunning and we will definitely be doing more Staycations next year x highly recommend and have done so already x

We had a great time exploring Skye, Harris and Lewis in one of the VW transporter vans. The vans are a nice compact size, great for driving and easy parking. The van makes the most of the space it has inside with more storage than you would think, good idea to use packing cubes for clothes. Found the lower bed more comfy and cosy than up top but good to have the option. You have everything you need in terms of utensils, pots, pans etc. Had a great holiday and would book again.

Staycation campers are fantastic lots of utensils, cookware, and extras that means you don’t need to buy a lot of stuff before your trip. Campers have a really nice finish.
We have now tried 2 types, the Volkswagen with the pop top roof, it is great for fitting into smaller spaces a lot more compact, not a huge amount of storage space. Then tried the Mercedes sprinter it was a lot bigger had some trouble getting into car parks because of the size but had tuns of storage, also didn’t need to sort bed and roof every night as it was already set up.
Both were great vans and would definitely hire again.

Just completed my first campervan trip in Lexi. We were travelling as a family group in a convoy of 3 campervans. It was a different kind of holiday from what we have ever had. It was great and the kids loved it. We went to the west coast of Scotland taking time to stop and enjoy the sights. It’s a great way to travel and see the countryside. The campervans were spotless and had everything we needed. The staff at Staycation were very helpful and friendly. I hope to do it again soon. I would definitely recommend anyone wishing to go on a campervan holiday to go with Staycation.

Great holiday that was really easy to arrange. Very friendly staff keen to accommodate requests. Very informative briefing prior to trip with lots of hints and tips. Pick up and return process was simple. Van had everything we needed as a beginner trip. Numerous confirmation emails before and after, this could possibly be combined into fewer pdfs. Not sure necessary as emails could just be contained in booking dashboard as required. Didn’t detract from overall experience. We had a great time and will certainly highly recommend and be back again possibly to buy next time 😁

Loved every minute of renting out the camper van. Everything was explained well before taking it out. We had a few questions about the vehicle size and height when on our trip and were replied to very fast. Very accommodating when asking for an early start.

Staycations were a fantastic company to hire from. Having never tried a campervan holiday before we thought we would take a couple days to do so after the schools broke up. From booking, to the clarity of the information received beforehand everything was made straightforward and simple by the Staycations team. The van was well equipped, immaculately clean and was a pleasure to drive!

The kids were so excited to go on the journey and every turn felt like an adventure! The only disappointment was having to had the keys back at the end! We'll definitely do this again and definitely use Staycations Scotland!

My partner and I highly recommend Staycation Scotland if you’re looking for a camper van. We rented Lyla to take a wee jaunt up to Skye for 3 nights and we couldn’t have asked for a better set up.

The van was clean, easy to use and clearly well maintained. All utensils and bedding etc that we would have needed was provided.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile and shown where everything was and how to use it, things like the water pump, gas, lights and even the fuse box, should we need to access it. After you set off, you have access to an online portal where you can report any issues that may occur, which I think was handy - should it be needed!

We had an issue with the main lights but this was resolved to our satisfaction and it wouldn’t put me off using one of their vans again in the future, in fact we’re already making plans for our next trip.
The only other, small, thing we found a bit of a faf was the window covers that were provided for the window above the gas hob (all other windows have curtains) they were a bit of an inconvenience to put up and a bit fiddly, but we’ve been told that plans are in place to change this and get a curtain or blind installed - again, this still wouldn’t put us off using the van in the future.

Jules was always very helpful and answered any questions we had. The staff are probably the biggest asset of the company, they were all very friendly.

Lovely, friendly businesses to deal with. The website and booking couldn’t have been easier to negotiate (even for a technophobe like myself). The van and trip for our girls weekend away was amazing. I would definitely recommend this company.

Excellent service from Staycation Scotland. Visited Skye for the first time and had we an amazing time in Tia campervan. Great to drive, very comfortable and realy fuel efficient. Tia had good storage, induction hob was great, and fridge, kettle and air fryer were excellent to. Bed was really comfy. Service from Jules and Simon was excellent and everyone was really helpful and friendly. Already booked our next trip in July and looking forward to meeting Olivia 🙂 Highly recommended, I would give more than 5 stars if I could. T & Boys x

Very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Their vans are in excellent condition and very well appointed throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed my trip in the campervan and the best recommendation I can give, is to say I will hire again from Staycation Scotland.

Fabulous experience from start to finish. I was so fortunate to get a last minute booking and Staycation are so warm & welcoming! My wife and I had a fantastic time in our first campervan holiday. Staycation Scotland explained everything in advance - the communication was clear and well thought out and the van introduction was really helpful.

The van was super easy to drive, comfortable and stylish inside, with nice lighting and the kitchen was easy to use and well stocked.

We would definitely recommend and hope to come back soon. There is nothing quite like waking up with a view of the beach and a coffee in hand.
