Booked my second holiday through holiday sunsation, that says it all! I had such fantastic service from Alex, I came back to him to plan my next one and he didn't fail to deliver. No question is too small, he was fast, responsive and very professional. His choices in accommodations have been fab and has really tailored things to needs.

Once again had an absolutely amazing time on our trip to Koh samui in Thailand! From flights to transfers to accommodation every single thing was superb! Don’t know how this company come up trumps for us time after time. The only thing I have to do is give my dates to Sam tell him where I’m going and he sorts out the rest at unbelievable prices. Cannot fault this company one bit and would not think of going anywhere else now. Always refer family and friends to them . Sam you are an asset to Holidaysunsations!! We just returned from our first-ever trip to Thailand, and I can honestly say we had the absolute best time. Normally, I’m a bit of a control freak with planning, but for this trip, it was the first time I let our travel agent choose the hotels and it was the best decision I could have made!
Our hotel in the Bangkok city centre was perfectly located. We were right in the middle of everything with incredibly easy access to the markets, malls, and transport. It made navigating a busy new city completely stress-free.
Then we headed to Phuket, and wow! The hotel was stunning and spotlessly clean. Being so close to the beach was a dream; we spent our days soaking up the sun and enjoying the crystal-clear views.
What really set this trip apart was the peace of mind. Our travel agent Alex was in constant contact on every pick-up and transfer day, checking in to ensure everything was running smoothly. It was so reassuring to know someone was looking out for us, making the entire journey feel effortless.
Everything about this holiday was seamless. From the vibrant energy of Bangkok to the pristine beauty of Phuket, it exceeded all our expectations. We will definitely be returning!

Travelled to thailand visiting 3 different resorts
Nothing was too much trouble even though we changed our minds on resorts a couple of times. Alex made sure we secured the best flight times, transfers and accommodation at an amazing price !
We have just booked with Alex again for next year (2027) and wouldnt hesitate to recommend. GREAT customer service.

I was recommended to Holiday Sunsation from a friend and I’m so glad I was as Sam has been amazing. We have booked a 16 day trip to Thailand visiting 6 different locations, Sam has ensured that all flights, internal flights, ferry’s and hotels are booked for a great price, the hotels are amazing and lovely locations. Due to this being a big holiday I had a lot questions to make sure it was perfect and this was no issue to Sam, he replied quickly and ensured that I had peace of mind. We booked our honeymoon 10 days in the Maldives with holiday sunsation and everything was perfect. From the cost of the holiday to the booking, getting our info and then the holiday itself there was no issues. The resort was stunning and our flights were well timed giving us maximum time over there. Will defiantly be booking again and hopefully return to the Maldives again too.

Alex helped us book our dream trip to Thailand. Ive never used this company before so was a bit dubious but I couldn't recommend enough!

You can’t beat the price with Holiday Sunsation, travelled in Jan 26 for our Honeymoon and everything was booked as requested no issues at all. The Maldives resort was one recommended by Holiday Sunsation and it didn’t disappoint. Also able to book earlier than other agents, able to book over a year ahead with good prices, lots of other agents won’t take a booking more than 11 months ahead 😊

We booked a trip to Dubai, thailand and Bali in January 2025 for February 2026 and have just returned from the most amazing holiday. Our travel agent Ben sorted everything for us and answered many questions from the start quickly. The holiday went perfectly we had 8 flights in total many transfers and it couldn’t have gone any better it was truly the holiday of a life time and we will be booking with holiday sunsation again . 11/10 i would recommend using them to anyone.

Booked our holiday to Thailand with Alex who was great from start to finish, a minor hiccup along the way which was quickly resolved by Alex who kept in touch and communicated with us throughout the process. Fantastic choices of hotels which we enjoyed very much. Well done Alex you are a credit to the company.

Pestana Royal Madeira booked through Alex at Holiday Sunsation.
The hotel was very pleasant and we had a balcony room.
Very clean. The whole of Madeira is spotless! We could learn a thing or two from then.
I received a lovely surprise of a bottle of wine and a cake for my birthday.
You won’t go hungry as if you are a late riser there is Brunch which within a couple of minutes it turns to lunch. There are lots of restaurants in town if you want something differnt.
The pools are very pleasant, though freezing in January, even if it’s warm. Some did brave it, but not me.
The reception staff were fine although we and some others had a bit of confusion. One day the bus driver told us and some others that the pick up time is 4.30. It’s 6.30pm as one lady rang her husband found out when he asked Reception. Reception also helped us book the 23 Jan for the Botanics restaurant but we found out on the night that it was only open Sat and Sun. When we queried it she said it was because we wanted to go on the 23 so they booked the Italian. We were all confused. So if you want to book the Botanics restaurant check when they’re open. in
If you want to book a trip
I recommend going into town. Easier than booking at Reception. The hotel bus stops near the Ronaldo statue. When you get off the Pestana Tour Company office is in front of you.
Very helpful and easy to book a tour. Our tour was cancelled due to the weather but no problem in getting deposit back.
The Cable Car is out of action until approximately April unfortunately as they are replacing the cables.
We got a cab to get to the Tropical Gardens which are lovely. Even nicer in
Spring or Summer. There used to be someone at the cable car to advise people of the shuttle bus however the cab driver said they closed it and apparently there is meant to be a guy on a bike on the parade between the bus drop off and the cable car but if there was, he wasn’t obvious.
We did the toboggan run from the Park. Absolutely brilliant. You must do it. We were lucky in that we went on a day when there weren’t any cruise ships so no queue plus you get a faster run.
You need a cab to get back to bottom after it stops or a one hour walk.
We took a cab back to the hotel a couple of times . Very reasonable.
The bus from the hotel is good but odd that they can drop you into Town at 10.30am and pick you up to return to the hotel at 1.30pm and 6.30pm. Why can’t they take you into town at 1.30pm and 6.30pm.
I would also recommend the Tuk Tuk tours. Great way to see the island and go on different tours. When you get of the bus the colourful Tuk Tuks are just ahead by the road towards town.
If I returned to Madeira personally I would prefer to be in Town amidst the hustle and bustle, coffee shops, beautiful churches, having a drink on the sea front.

The jewellry store/ceramic museum opposite the Pestana Tour Company is worth a visit, especially if you would to buy your loved one a gift!!
Surprisingly Easyjet was just that, easy. Mind you that might have something to do with the fact that Bristol airport isn’t busy.
