I was absolutely in a tough spot…

I was absolutely in a tough spot because my client needed some last second changes to multiple documents right before a major meeting. I arrived at this Staples location from out of town in an Uber trusting that they could get it done. Not only did Carey S., the Print & Marketing Production Supervisor, save the day, the whole team stayed after closing long enough to complete the mission. The meeting was flawless the next day due in large part to the grace, professionalism and teamwork afforded me by this Waltham MA Staples team. Thank you so much!!

Disrespect by an customer

Despite my complaint letter given to the immediate supervisor on Jan. 8, 2023, I have not gotten a response regarding my complaint regarding "Diane," an employee who disrespected me. I feel devalued as a customer due to the fact that she has ignored me for asking her a question. Moreover, her supervisor took after her, and did not ask to apologize to me. Question: what steps will Staples take to remedy this situation?

Avoid deceptive , dishonest misleading company . They promise stock no one else has but never deliver .

Worst online company I have tried to work with in 30 years ! Ordered 8 printers and took 3 days and at least 10 calls to be told they were shipping since showed in stock from day one. They confirmed after calls they had them in their whse bec stock was critical to find.
After those calls end even visiting local Staples store to follow thru all looked good and order was done . Followed up a day later with call and was told order had been cancelled and no stock yet no one called or emailed there was no stock. Incompetent and dishonest is most accurate description I can find. Their deception and dishonesty cost us a lot of time and money lost .

Gift Card Refund

I used a gift card to purchase an office chair for in-store pickup (to save $13 in "handling fees"). I received an email saying it was out of stock at that store, and that they were refunding my order, but if I wanted to transfer to another pickup location, I could call. Well, I called. They said they could cancel the order and place a new one for me. But the gift card I paid with won't be refunded for FOUR DAYS. So because their system is too slow to recognize when something is sold out, I have to give them $160 in gift card money for four days before I can re-purchase.

The Staples in Orange Park charged…VERY Poor and lie

The Staples in Orange Park charged $315.00 for computer repair. After two trips to the store, it was finally ready. The only problem was they did not repair it and told me it had a bad hard drive. They still charged me $315.00 for nothing. I will never do any kind of business with them.

DO NOT USE FOR BUSINESS CARDS

I ordered business cards through STAPLES. I understand that if there is a grammatical error they should not be held responsible so I proofed by work and sent my PDF to them. Keep in mind this is the same PDF that other LOCAL printers have used to print our business cards. The cards that were sent back were not sized to fit the card. When I contacted customer service they refused to reprint or refund because they said I should have sized it correctly. I have used this PDF numerous times with other printing companies and the finished product has turned out great. This is the first and last time I will use STAPLES for printing materials. I will only use local printers as STAPLES offers no customer support.

A typical 40$ scam based on consumer inertia and false advertising.

Ordered online a 178$ item on dec 30 22. Billed on jan 4 23, Order canceled on jan 4 23 without any notification. On jan 6, was promised full refund 200,05$ , within 5 days. Jan 16 call again to be told that my refund request would be sent to finance dept. A typical 40$ scam based on consumer inertia and false advertising. They offered me the same product at 218$ delivered the next day.

I order an iPad with a GC that I got through work. The first time I ordered they told me they couldn't verify my billing address and they canceled my order with no notification. I talked to the Customer Service area, and they were nice, but not particularly helpful, they forwarded me to operations and they basically told me that they can't help me and they just kept repeating the same line over and over again. I kept asking questions and received no answers to those questions. This time I tried to order again using a different card, thinking that maybe just maybe that was the issue. This time they can't verify my phone number... it is like they find any and all excuses not to let people order online or even use valid gift cards that Staples sent to me themselves. I am exhausted, I am angry, and they should be thankful I don't know how to go above them because I am about to be on a war path. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.

I went to the Staples store in…

I went to the Staples store in Kernersville, NC to look for a new office chair. The store has several chairs on display. I found a chair that I liked . The chair had a 40% off discount tag on it. I decided this was a good deal. When the sales person can back to where I was . He explained that the sale price had already been reduced by 40%. This was very misleading to have a 40% off sign on the chair then discover the price on the chair I thought was the price the 40% was to be deducted from was not the correct price. I ask the sales person about the deceptive practice? Needless to say I didn’t buy a chair from the store. I suggest you look into this practice . Deception or just misleading posting of prices will cost you customers now I’m one !

Do NOT buy from Staples

Do NOT buy from Staples! As "Sunny" said in an earlier review, you will make a purchase and they will cancel your order without letting you know. Well, after I wasted my Cyber Monday purchasing from them and not receiving my order, I spoke with a supervisor who didn't have the authority to do anything else and apologized on the most surface level. I kindly requested a call from someone with authority. I received a call from The Office of The President today, and explained to them that I've now lost out on an opportunity to purchase what I wanted (an iPad) when it was being discounted because Staples canceled my order. Apparently there was a "typographical error" in the listing. They would do absolutely nothing to remedy the situation. I'd leave a BBB review but they aren't even listed there! What a horrid company. Stay away!

Staples cannot deliver

The delivery company Staples hires can't or won't follow instructions. Many attempts to get them to deliver to a receiving department and the drivers insist on delivering to an unmanned reception area. Their delivery service promises it will change and it never does.

Any time I try to order from Staples

Any time I try to order from Staples, I must do so as a guest. I have actually given up and ordered some products from elsewhere because of how difficult it is to order a product online and or by phone. I create an account and then when I go to use it, it is not acceptable. Within 24 hours, the account which I created and wrote down the info, did not work. I could not "pick up in store". I wound up ordering it to be delivered. I have a feeling that you would have more purchases if you fixed and improved your web ordering or actually had a person come to the phone within 5 hours.

Unbelievably BAD experience!

Unbelievably BAD experience!! Went in the Yuma, AZ, store to make some copies at the self-serve printers. EACH ONE of the FOUR printers available MANFUNCTIONED repeatedly!! i.e. (1) several of the machines hung up in midstream and tried to reboot,
showing an error message saying it could take 10 - 15 minutes to complete the reboot!! (2) Several of the printers gave a spinning circle and hung-up while trying to calculate the cost for making 2 prints!! (3) An employee in the printing department said the techs who come work on those machines NEVER get them fixed correctly. This same worker also told me that he wouldn't be able to help me... by printing the needed 8 copies from his station. He said it would be TOMORROW before that could be completed!! After I told him I was going to put a negative review for this STAPLES in every possible location online that I could find, he suddenly was offering to make my copies on a printer behind the counter right away. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that I tried for approximately 1 hour to make 8 copies on these HORRIBLE self-serve printers provided by STAPLES! That's the last time I will ever step foot in one of their stores.

The management and staff at the Staples located at Vista Village Drive are outstanding. They are proactive, knowledgeable, and customer friendly. The store is clean.

Reps at Springfield Delco store are very rude

Yes, staples sucks balls! Got a office chair with warranty; 3 months later chair broke; went back to store, rep told me to bring to chair to the store so I can get credit.... took the chair next day, rep was not there another rep started yelling at me "why did you bring the chair?.... now I'm pissed.... explain the whole thing he said "I DONT CARE"..... took pictures of the broken chair so I can file a claim and left the chair at the store, aging he yell at me to take it with me... i didn't. Call the insurance, they give me a store credit instead a "gift card" now, I have $200 bucks to spend only at staples.... I can't find anything to buy for the last 3 months.

Staples free laptop tune up

Hello, I took my laptop to the local Staples for a tune-up, I picked it up and took it home the screen was cracked under the touch screen and I cannot use it, it does turn on but can not operate. It appears someone pushed the touch screen with their hand while they wiped the screen, basically just smearing the screen. They said I broke it and they are not going to do anything to correct their mistake. I have 3 laptops so I think I understand how they work. So I am back to square one, I feel Staples broke my laptop and would like their help to replace my custom HP laptop. I said I could not believe a big company like Staples would do this to lose my and my companies business.

I purchased an Alton Lazy Boy executive…

I purchased an Alton Lazy Boy executive chair in Indiana PA. At home I could not assemble the 2nd step due to the arm part not connecting. I took it back to the store to get it assembled. An employee could not assemble the 2nd step either and said it was a factory mistake. I really liked this chair so I ordered with another associate online. The ordering online experience was quite an ordeal. I was very confused how I paying and was handed a gift receipt card to bring back to the store when my chair was delivered. I choose to have the chair assembled and was charged a fee. I thought I shouldn’t have been charged since all the trouble I went through. Once at the store again I picked up my chair and I had to ask for my accessories that came with the chair. A small cosmetic piece was missing when I had the chair in my home.
I would have to say I was disappointed with your customer service and overall buying experience.
