Fantastic service , no pressure

Colin was amazing! He was so attentive and kind and helpful. He took the time to help us figure out if the couch would fit in our home and explained all steps to us in great detail. Thank you so much Colin!

Staff member Elaine was very helpful, dropped a star due to having to pay £129 for delivery which I think is ridiculous

I have bought my last three sofas from Sofology Straiton where I always find the staff to be helpful, knowledgeable and always happy to help.

Jonathan salesman was really helpful , knowledgeable and really friendly , 2nd time we've bought sofas from sofology, won't go past sofology at straiton 🙂

The sales assistant was very helpful and informative. He gave us all the options available for the corner sofa we wanted to fit in our livingroom.

Colin was really great from start and to finish. He went above and beyond for us and our needs and what we wanted and the process for ordering our couch was so smooth

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Sofology.

When I purchased my sofa in store, I believed I had taken out Sofa Shield protection. It wasn’t until after delivery that I discovered no policy had been added to my order. Had I known this at the time, I would have questioned it immediately.

I raised this with Sofology, explaining that I genuinely believed the protection had been included. Their response was that because the sofa had already been delivered and Sofa Shield is a regulated insurance product, there was nothing they could do. While I understand regulations exist, this leaves me in a position where I have no protection despite believing I had arranged it at the point of sale.

What has been most frustrating is the lack of accountability. Rather than trying to find a fair resolution, I was simply told there was nothing further they could do. As a customer spending a significant amount of money on a sofa, I expected much better service and support.

The experience has caused a great deal of unnecessary stress and has left me feeling let down. I have since referred the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service because I do not believe my complaint has been handled fairly.

Unfortunately based on my experience, I cannot recommend Sofology.

Visiting the store in Straiton, we were greeted by Tonia. We are very aware of pressure sales, but she was incredibly professional and engaging. Not only informative but very endearing. We were visiting from Fife and said we would probably purchase through our local store. She explained the process and it didn’t deter her to go the extra mile for us. In turn we are going to go back to purchase from her.

Customer service was excellent. Not too pushy and guiding us to the right decision.

I had such a lovely experience at Sofology choosing a sofa for my first home. Jonathan was fantastic – friendly, approachable and always on hand if I had any questions.
