Ordered a pair of sonos era 100 speakers, from smarthomesounds web site.
Easy to order and at best price, with free next day delivery.
Had issues when setting these up for surround sound in my tv living room. Rang their tech helpline for advice, they were quick to answer and talked me through the app set up. Problem solved and I found them very willing to help, and offered ongoing help if needed.
I would certainly recommend smart home sounds and would buy from them again.

Replacement for poor review!
I gave a poor review a few days ago as DPD had not delivered my order when I was promised it. However, it has now come, and Smart Home Sounds were brilliant at dealing with this delay. I would give them top marks, and would use them again.

Cannot be faulted
I used Smart Home Sounds a lot when I was refurbing my house from scratch, they helped me plot out the best speaker positions and kit for a multi-room setup within my budget.
I mostly worked with Amelia who was an absolute star, I've purchased from them numerous times and it's always been an amazing experience. I've probably spent in the region of £5-10k on a myriad of ceiling speakers and Sonos amps, they've always given me the best experience with advice/purchases.
1-2 years on, I am still over the moon with the hardware, the advice Amelia gave me was flawless and has stood the test of time. If I need anything A/V I'll always come back to SMS :)

broken stylus
I purchased a from stylus Ortofon Stylus 2M after 3 month's worth playing records at broke
They messing about getting it inspected who came back it was my fault will I dispute that it was not my fault I always look after my stylus after it cost a lot of moneyI'm very disappointed out of pocketnot to buy anything from them

We completely understand your frustration — stylus cartridges are delicate items, and it’s never ideal when something goes wrong after a few months of use.
All products returned as faulty within their warranty period are sent to the manufacturer or supplier for inspection under the terms of the warranty.
In your case, we helped arrange for your Ortofon stylus to be returned so it could be examined under a microscope and assessed properly in line with the term of the warranty.
Following their inspection, the supplier confirmed:
“The 2M Blue has broken due to end user damage. As shown in the attached image, there is a tear at the bottom part of the cantilever, indicating a downward force was applied.
This is not a natural movement of the cartridge. If it were a manufacturing defect, it would have appeared almost immediately and the entire cantilever would be missing, leaving a gap in the middle.”
Due to the above and with the stylus working for around three months before the issue occurred, the brand’s assessment concluded that this was not a manufacturing defect, but rather damage incurred during use.
We don’t make the final decision on warranty coverage — this is determined solely by the supplier, who use specialist equipment and expertise to assess each case.
That said, we did our best to support you throughout the process and also offered £20 in store credit as a goodwill gesture.
We’re genuinely sorry to hear you were disappointed with the outcome, but we hope this helps clarify how the decision was reached. - SHS

I’ve always been a lover of amazing sound… Whether that be car and motorcycle engines, motorsports, incredible films, or the plethora of incredible music and amazing bands we’re fortunate enough to enjoy in this world!
I’ve always lived in my headphones growing up…
